"Are you saying you have given up on my son rely because of a few failures? If that is the case then that ans you are a coward who never deserved my son in the first place," Mrs Smith said harshly.
"Auntie that is not the case. I would never give Jack up for anything in this world. In fact, I have a perfect plan that will make her break up with Jack. When I execute my plans it will be ga over for her," Jane said with her evil grin that masked her beautiful face. Mrs Smith's temper cooled down after listening to Jane's words.
"I am happy to hear this. I will be waiting for good news then," Mrs Smith replied in a more relaxed tone. She disconnected the call after another two minutes of talking with Jane.
When Jackson reached the front of the tall building he halted and waited for Jasmine to co down.
"Don't forget to call to pick you up when you ladies are done. I will be hanging out with the guys. They have been complaining that I have abandoned them since we beca a couple," Jackson said as he stare at her face. For so reason, she didn't seem happy after they left the restaurant.
"Don't worry about and have fun with them. Cat will drive ho after we are done here," Jasmine said as she opened the car and tried to go out. Jackson quickly pulled her closer and embraced her.
"Everything will be just fine so don't worry too much about anything ok?" Jackson said as he stroked her hair affectionately.
"Take care, don't miss too much," Jasmine patted his back only to pull away soon.
Jackson watched as she approached the automatic glass window.
"I don't know how I will do it but I promise to make sure that you don't suffer any humiliation because of our relationship," Jackson muttered, his eyes glued on her departing back.
When Jasmine reached Catherine's door, she didn't need to knock since she knew her code. She input the code and the door opened. Entering the sitting-room she t Catherine approaching the dining table with a hot pot of delicacy.
Catherine was too busy trying to set up the dining to realise that she had a visitor.
"Hmmm... Sll nice," Jasmine announced her presence with only these words. Catherine who had already placed the hot pot in the middle of the dining table shifted her attention to where the voice ca from. She stood properly when she got a glimpse of the gorgeous looking lady.
"Oh my gosh!" Catherine remarked as she hastily covered the distance between them. She spun Jasmine around to examine her when she reached where she stood.
"Baby girl, what the heck did you do to your fine silk long hair?" Catherine asked as she stare at her short shiny black hair.
"That jerk kept bugging saying as long as I leave my hair long and in the sa colour he would never believe that I am over him so I had no choice but to have it cut yesterday," Jasmine said as she approached the dining table.
"Girl, why are you letting whatever that annoying guy says to get into your head? You know he is not worth all the attention you are giving him. You didn't have to cut your long hair because of the nonsense he spews...,"
"I understand what you are trying to say but Cat, I want to get that jerk off my tail. If cutting my hair and dyeing it back to black will make him stay away from and Jackson then I don't mind cutting my hair over and over again," Jasmine stated fiercely.
"I don't want any problem to arise between and Ice Prince because of him. Like you said he is not worth it," Jasmine said in a composed tone.
"I am sure Jackson must have fallen in love with your short hair, does he even know the reason you had your hair cut?" Catherine asked the obvious question. She sat on the chair close to Jasmine.
"After what he did, I am sure Ice Prince will kill him if he dares knows that he is still stalking ...,"
"But this might turn into a big problem for you if he doesn't learn about it," Catherine said in a firm tone.
"I will make sure he stays far away from before that," Jasmine replied.
"Good luck trying to talk senses into the insane guy," Catherine said before she served the dishes into Jasmine's plate.
"Seeing how dressed up you are I am sure you both have already t his mum so how was your introductory date? It didn't turn sour because of the cruel woman right?" Catherine asked curiously as she stole a glance at her quiet best friend.
"I don't want to talk about it so let's eat," Jasmine said as she picked up the spoon and started eating.
Seeing how she is eating and also her mood, I guess his mum did do sothing she disliked.
Catherine thought as she stare at her best friend who had begun eating.
"Eat as much as you want," Catherine said as she dished more food into her plate. The two friends ate heartily together.

Back in Steve's mansion, everyone stares at the gloomy looking guy sitting quietly. He has been this quiet since he arrived minutes ago.
"How was your eting with your mum? Did she treat Jasmine a little nicely today?" Jeff decided to ask the question everyone was avoiding asking.
"Don't even ntion that. Mum almost turned the happy outing into a disaster. I had to resort to threatening her before she pretended to be cool with it," Jackson said as he grabbed one of the bottles of whiskey lying on the table. He opened it and gulped down the content without using the wine glass.
Steve and Jeff exchanged puzzled glances.
