"Mum, I know that you don't like her and I won't force you to do that but the least you could do is give her the due respect. She is human with emotions for crying out loud mum. She gets hurts too just as we do so stop being so an to the lady who hasn't wronged you in any way," Jackson said in a serious tone.
"You might not know but let tell you that what you are doing to her is called bullying the weak. People who respected you before will lose their respects for you if they see you trampling on your daughter-in-law who has done nothing but treats you kindly...,"
"Jack, how could you speak to Auntie in this tone just because of that thing who doesn't know her place....," Jane trembled when she saw Jackson raise his hand to slap her.
Even his mum was shocked that his son who has never hit a woman wanted to hit soone in her presence. Jackson caught control of his temper before his hand could land on Jane's beautiful face.
"Shut the f*ck up when I am not talking to you or I swear you will lose not one tooth but at least three if you dare interrupt again," Jackson whose right hand was in the air said as he glared at the terrified Jane. The killing intent in his eyes was visible for all to see.
Jane was too horrified to speak after what he had almost done to her.
"Jacky, how dare you want to slap your future wife in my presence. Is that what I taught you...,"
"Mum, I don't care what you promised her to make her think that she could speak about my woman anyhow she wants because she thinks I will marry her so I will say this again. I will never marry Jane Allen. Even though she was to be the only woman in this world I would rather choose to remain single forever than marry her...," Jackson said fiercely as he glared at the lady who was already in tears.
"Get that into your thick skull because I won't marry you no matter your sches. It's Jasmine I want and nobody else. The sooner the two of you accept this fact the better for everyone," Jackson said sternly as his eyes darted from Jane to his mother.
"And I said you lie, Jacky. I would never accept her as my daughter-in-law. It's Jane I want and she is the one you will marry...,"
"You are the one who is lying to yourself mum. You can't force to do what you want especially when it cos to my marriage. And since you like her so much why not marry her so she could co live with you?" Jackson said without giving a damn about how Jane must be feeling.
"Jack!" Mrs Smith yelled as she raised her hand and slap Jackson hard on the face.
"You can take it out on however you want but mum believe I won't be very polite if you hurt the woman I love be it in private or public," Jackson said furiously before he turned and stroll away.
"Mum, can you hear what Jack said about ? He insulted all because of that lady," Jane said as she cried while hugging Mrs Smith hand.
"It's ok. Everything will work out so stop crying," Mrs Smith patted Jane's hair. They stayed there for a few minutes. The two of them entered the car after they were done consoling each other.
anwhile, when Jackson reached their car, he thanked both Evelyn and Steve for their help.
He entered the car and sat beside his woman afterwards. The driver drove away. In the car, Jasmine avoided staring at him. She refused to talk to him until they reached her ho.
Since she could not walk, he had to carry her to their room and as usual, he relieved the maids of their work.
When Jackson tried to help her shower, Jasmine rejected his help. She hopped into the bathroom without sparing him a second glance.
"For her to refuse to talk to , I guessed I ssed up big ti. I wonder why I got so angry and jealous when I saw him massaging her legs," Jackson thought aloud as he stare at the bathroom door.
Knowing too well that she would imdiately want to sleep after showering he decided to use the second bathroom so that he would finish at the sa ti as her.
When Jackson ca back from the bathroom he t her sitting in front of the dressing mirror drying her hair. He quickly went to help her so he could use that opportunity to initiate a conversation with her.
"I don't need your help," Jasmine said as she collected the hairdryer he snatched from her hands. She dropped the hair dryer and tried to stand up but Jackson quickly turned the chair around before she could stand up.
So that she won't have to strain her neck while staring at him, he knelt on one foot. He carried her hands and place them in his despite her reluctance.
"Miss Naughty, I am sorry for making you angry. My mum shouldn't have treated you the way she did earlier so I apologise on her behalf...," Jackson trailed as he stroked her hand affectionately.
"I am sorry that I got upset with you and I apologise for misunderstanding the incident I t earlier on the rooftop. Actually, I was just jealous that you let another man touch you so intimately," Jackson said with pouted lips as he stare into her eyes.
"My woman is very beautiful. n flock around her by rely setting eyes on her. You can't bla for reacting the way I did...,"
"I bet you are rely using jealousy to brush off the fact that you don't trust ," Jasmine scoffed as she remove her hands from his grip.
"You know that is not true. I love and trust you. Like I said, I was only jealous, believe ," Jackson held her hands once again.
