Alfred who had no other options began narrating all that happened to Elizabeth. And luckily for him, Catherine was able to co up with a solution for him.

"Alfred one more thing you should know is that it is not entirely true that her stomach ache was caused by the food she ate. Stress must have attributed to half of her pains so make sure to let her rest after you have given her the dicine," Catherine advised in a calm tone.

"Ok, I will do just that but Catherine I have a bit of a problem," Alfred said sounding disturbed.

"What is it, say it?" Asked Catherine in a tone that says she will do everything within her capacity to help him.

"Although I want to so much go to the pharmacy to buy the dicine you told about, I can't leave Liza alone in that condition...,"

"Hurry up and go buy the dicine I will check up on her before you co back to make sure that she is ok," Catherine assured as she urged him to hurry down to the pharmacy.

"Thank you very much," said Alfred in a grateful tone before he dashed out of their hotel room.

Five minutes after he left Jasmine ca out of the bedroom. From the look on her face, Catherine knew she heard all they discussed.

"Jasmine, was this perhaps part of your big plans? Did you do this to your elder sister?" Catherine questioned in a stern tone. The suspicious look on her face while staring at Jasmine showed that she doubts Jasmine.

"I said I wanted a little niece/nephew and not my sister's corpse ok?" Jasmine quickly denied being responsible for Elizabeth's illness.

"Cat, stop giving that look because it's not . I maybe sotis an but I will never poison soone and especially if that person is my only sister. What happened is just a coincidence ok," explained Jasmine when she saw that Catherine did not believe her.

"I never said you did..,"

"You didn't but your expression said so," Jasmine interrupted her abruptly.

"I know you...,"

"Let's go check up on her and see how she is doing," Jasmine said as she led the way. When they reached the couple's hotel room with the aid of the card Alfred had given Catherine earlier, they were able to enter the room.

The two of them sohow manage to find the bedroom which was not well hidden. Entering the bedroom they t Elizabeth sleeping. Jasmine went to sit on her bed and after so minutes, she and Catherine made to leave the room.

"Jasmine...," remarked the lady, who opened her eyes to see them approaching the door.

"You are awake," said Jasmine as she hurried to her side.

"So how are you doing?" asked Jasmine in a worried tone as she helped her sit up properly. Elizabeth looked around like she was searching for soone forgetting to answer Jasmine's question.

"If you are looking for Alfred then there is no need to keep on searching because he is not around," Jasmine said to the disappointnt of Elizabeth.

"Where did he go to?" Elizabeth asked anxiously.

"Alfred was very worried after seeing you in that condition earlier so he ca to ask for my assistance after you fell asleep. Luckily Cat was there to render him help," said Jasmine to put Elizabeth's mind at ease.

"Alfred was worried about ?" asked Catherine. Her expression and tone showed that she did not believe what Jasmine said.

"You don't believe right? You think I am lying to get him on your good books, correct?" Jasmine said understanding her sister's gaze very well.

"I won't convince you to believe what I said because I am sure you will know that I wasn't lying when your husband enters your room panting with dicine in his hands," Jasmine said as she stood up.

"Where are you going?" Elizabeth asked when she saw the two of them approach the door.

"Going back to our room of course? Your husband will arrive very soon. As much as I wouldn't love to ruin your sweet ti with your husband I also don't want to be fed with dog food...,"

"You know my relationship with Fred isn't that deep," Elizabeth said.

"I know but that doesn't an that you both are still not married. Between a husband and wife, anything can happen and I, Jasmine don't want to witness that," Jasmine said as she wink naughtily at Elizabeth before she leaves.

"That naughty girl. I can't help but think that her head is filled with all manners of naughty thoughts," Elizabeth mumbled still sitting in the sa position Jasmine and Catherine left her.

Seeing that their luggage wasn't where she left them before she fell asleep earlier, she slowly climbs out of bed.

It was after she had reached the wardrobe that Alfred entered their bedroom. The worried Alfred rushed to her side when he saw her standing close to the wardrobe.

"What are you doing standing up? You should have waited for to co back if you needed sothing," Alfred scolded as he assisted her to the bed.

Sitting on the bed with Alfred squatting in front of her, Elizabeth stares at her husband. From the traces of sweat on his face combined with his panting chest, she knew that he must have run or done so other type of strenuous job to look this way.

"Why are you sweating?" Elizabeth asked curiously, her gentle gaze centred on him.

"It's a bit hot out there I guess," Alfred lied not disclosing that his sweat was as a result of running. The last thing he wanted to do was to make her worried.

"Really?" Elizabeth asked suspiciously. The way she stares at him showed that she did not believe him.

"If that is the case then can you tell why you are panting? Is it also because the weather is hot...,"

"Yes," Alfred blurted out without even listening to her question.

"I ant...,"

"What is in your hands?" Elizabeth asked not giving him the chance to lie to her.
