The June sumr breeze gently blew, causing the white curtains in the room to occasionally lift and fall. Not far away on the floor, a black-haired girl lay napping on a large mat, with the sunlight that sotis peeked through the curtains falling beside her, casting a glow that made her face clear.

Ti flowed quietly, and the sunlight was exceptionally tranquil in the lightly wafting sumr breeze. Occasionally, the chatter and laughter from the distance outside could be faintly heard, like fragnts of cherished mories.

"Ding-dong—"

The wooden hanging clock opened, and the sleeping White Kite was pushed out, then descended. This bird was about the size of a hen, with a few white crest feathers sticking up, quite lovely.

It flapped its wings, first landing on the table and then flying down in front of the girl. After pacing back and forth a few tis, it tried to tug at her clothes, making the sleeping girl open her eyes.

Hexia rubbed her eyes and slowly sat up, glancing at the ti.

"It's 2:40 in the afternoon," she said, standing up, straightening her slightly rumpled dress from sleep, then stepping barefoot off the mat to put on sandals and head to the washroom to wash her face.

"Good afternoon, Lady Tilan," greeted the two True Red maids guarding the corridor outside as she erged, bowing respectfully.

Tilan, after washing her face, went to the first floor of the mansion's hall, sipped so water, and then asked the maid in charge of her schedule.

"Has anyone co to find today?"

"There was a phone call this morning from the Court of Judgnt staff, inviting you to a small eting tomorrow morning, reportedly along with other songstresses, to discuss future security plans."

"Must be the newly appointed minister," Tilan thought of the high-ranking official she had seen on TV the day before yesterday.

"And what about the school, how have things been lately?"

"Due to recent events, your classes and those of other songstresses like Blanchi have mostly been suspended. The school's temporary arrangent is to send special tutors to each of the songstresses' residences in the mornings until the end of this term."

"In other words, they're advising us not to go out much," Tilan pondered.

"Yes, if you insist on going out, Lady Tilan, you can, but you need to report to the school and relevant staff for them to prepare in advance."

"I'd rather not. I guess their preparations involve a swarm of people following around for protection, which is more hassle than just staying at ho," the girl said, shaking her head while sipping so refreshing floral tea.

In such a situation, over the past month, Tilan had gotten used to it. Since Blanchi's incident, most of their classes had been halted, and they were asked to stay within the school premises, not to venture out casually.

Especially in the days imdiately after the incident, it caused a great uproar within the Federation. Many uninford, curious, excited, or extre people rushed towards the school, so claiming they wanted to check on the health of the other songstresses, others demanding a review of the Golden Fla Flower School's security asures to prevent similar incidents.

In short, that whole week, the school was on high alert, and the campus was locked down once the fully ard exoskeleton police arrived.

Under these circumstances, classes naturally couldn't continue, and most students were forced into a holiday, only able to play in the dorms.

Similarly, as a songstress, Tilan was required to stay in the mansion. However, unlike regular students, during that ti, there were almost daily dia interviews and official visits.

To convey the safety status of the songstresses to the populace of the Star Domain and to soothe societal anxiety, dia correspondents specifically shot many segnts of her daily life and living environnt. This process inevitably involved so staging and repetition, with the constant flow of people making it difficult for her life to settle down peacefully.

Only after over half a month, with Blanchi's awakening and the situation's easing, did Tilan's life gradually return to peace.

"Moreover, Lady Tilan, a gift package was delivered this afternoon, which should have arrived a few days ago but was intercepted for thorough inspection by experts before being released," reported the maid.

"What kind of gift?" Tilan looked up with slight curiosity, one slender long leg under her skirt lifting slightly to rest on the crossbar beneath the chair.

"It's a grand piano sent by the Southern October Star Business Alliance."

"A piano, huh?" She didn't really lack musical instrunts, but since it was a gift, she should at least take a look.

"Where was it placed?"

"In the music room on the east side that you often use."

"Alright, I'll go have a look," she said, standing up.

Under the guidance of the maid, Tilan quickly saw this specially customized grand piano, made with deep blue chro hexigold, with every detail polished to perfection. The lid's side was adorned with hollow star and moon symbols, providing an ideal touch, akin to a perfect art piece.

Her fingers brushed over the piano's surface, speckled with shimring Silver Stars, smooth and comfortable. When Tilan sat in front of the piano, she could see a line of small inscriptions.

'To our lovely and beautiful Hexia Tilan.'

Then, the maid handed over a white-edged, blue-bottod gift list, and upon opening it, the first page was an artistic photo of the piano, sitting in front of a black silk backdrop, particularly elegant and pretty. It proceeded to introduce the materials used, the number of parts and craftsmanship involved, and the masters who participated in its creation and tuning. It also explained the anings and blessings behind each of its designs and patterns.
