The words of the forr president were sowhat flat, but when the new club president took the stage, the crowd expressed their surprise.
She was a very special girl with silver-blue hair and excessively pale skin; her appearance was outstanding, but she lacked expression and seldom spoke. After going up on stage, she simply said, "My na is Geyin, and I am the new club president," then she ended her speech.
"I think I've heard her na before. It's said that when she entered the school, she already had Sequence 4 level ability; she's a genius active on the Aijeika network, usually staying in the imrsion pod and hardly ever attending classes," soone remarked.
"So she's a hobody, no wonder I've never seen her before."
"It seems this year's freshman class really has hidden dragons and crouching tigers, quite a few capable people indeed."
Finally, after the 'Swarm's Reign' club's handover was completed, this event ca to a conclusion, and the students started to leave, so seniors even began to book holiday travel destinations.
As the crowd gradually dispersed, Tilan, who had been sitting in the front, also stood up. What other students hadn't noticed was that the student representatives who had gone on stage earlier were also staying behind.
"President Tilan," a mber greeted the black-haired girl in glasses with a bow, serving as a signal that rippled through the group.
They stood in two rows by the young girl's side, calling her na.
"President Tilan."
"President Tilan."
"President Tilan."
Then, as the girl passed by, they followed closely behind her and left the venue.
This scene was finally frozen on the projection screen, until soone pressed the play button again and the projection looped back to the beginning, to the ti when the black-haired girl had gone on stage to speak.
"She's truly remarkable," handso young n and won watching below comnted; they all wore uniforms with white backgrounds and golden leaves, and seated in the middle was a man with Elf Bloodline.
'She is the new president of Edith Academy, the successor to Amors, isn't she?' He tapped his fingers gently on the armrest, slowly sweeping his gaze over the screen.
"Yes, according to the information verified through special channels by the Academy's board, she is indeed Temisia's own younger sister, Hexia Tilan."
Upon hearing the na, the man in the center closed his eyes, then slowly opened them again.
"That na is at once endearing and regrettable, inspiring both admiration and hatred..." As the current president of Saint Ingo Academy, he had also witnessed the brilliance and glory of that genius girl in his freshman year and naturally knew the terror associated with the na Temisia.
"Although Temisia is no longer around, it is surprising and disappointing that the academy's higher-ups didn't recruit her sister to our school but let her go to Edith Academy instead."
"Perhaps the actions Temisia took back then angered and disgusted the high echelons of the academy, and by association, they overlooked her sister," a mber leaned in to explain.
"Regardless, Temisia's talent is beyond doubt; if not for her, that year's competition would not have concluded so peacefully," the golden-haired man shook his head.
"Now that Edith Academy has found her younger sister, it's as if they are mocking and ridiculing us."
"President, I think we might be overestimating Hexia Tilan. Although she is Temisia's sister, not everyone can be like Temisia; even as Temisia's sister, that doesn't an she will attain the heights of her older sibling. Such gaps between siblings are common," another student ntioned.
The president of Saint Ingo Academy let out a sigh, waved his hand to stop the club mber, and then spoke.
"You haven't witnessed the terrifying rule of Temisia back in the day," he said. "Even after so many years, if you ask the seniors who are about to graduate, many of them have seen Temisia's performance at the Winter Festival Competition. Her level was completely unmatched by the champions of the last two sessions."
"At that ti, it wasn't just our academy, but many in the upper echelons of the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain who believed her future was boundless. It was quite possible that she could reach the peak of Sequence 8 before the age of forty. That's a terrifying prediction and the reason why many students from influential families didn't dare to offend her easily, even as adults with power when faced with such a rising star, felt envy and wariness."
"Many think pride and arrogance are undesirable traits, but when these qualities were displayed by Temisia, they seed perfectly natural. She was supposed to be that way; a gentler disposition would have been strange and awkward. Such a formidable aura intimidated everyone who encountered her, making them willingly submit," the man described an image and temperant that was beyond what most could imagine.
"It could be said that because of her, all the geniuses of her generation seed diminished, almost inconsequential."
"If it weren't for the accident that happened afterward, she might have been the most outstanding and proud student in the history of Saint Ingo Academy."
After saying this, he paused for a while, resting with his eyes closed, then reopened them.
"Enough about Temisia, let the past be in the past. Talking about it now doesn't hold much significance," he said.
"You two, get in touch with the Academy's Board of Directors and keep an eye on Tilan's news and movents. Since Edith Academy has chosen their new core, we need to start preparing ourselves," he instructed.
"This year's Winter Festival gala won't be as relaxed as last year, heh heh."
"Swarm's Reign, Thunder Edge, Edith, they are all special geniuses erging; even the low-key Lelisa Academy is quietly accumulating strength, and none of them are easy to deal with. That's the pressure and challenge one faces while being in the first position," he said.
After continuing to assign tasks and targets to various departnts, the President of Saint Ingo Academy's Student Council stood up, dismissed the eting, and left the others to depart, while he alone walked into a concealed elevator in the building.
After half a minute of elevator travel, he entered the vast and lofty underground training arena. In the vast space, there was only one figure standing quietly, a tall figure with pointed ears and flowing golden hair. She was dressed in a pale jade and gold close-fitting dress, holding a true red sword edge in one hand and a dazzling golden fla-like sword edge in the other. Transparent, cicada-like wings faintly appeared behind her, then whisked her away at high speed through the pitch-black training area. In an instant, twelve arcs of gold and red sword light appeared and then faded.
As she gradually beca proficient in high-speed swordplay and combat, five blue special light beams lit up on the do of the training ground, converging on a Crystal Core placed below, which then ford into a female figure of similar height. She also wielded Dual Swords, but with demonic butterfly wings behind her, and the sword edges were like shoots drawn from rose buds.
The two figures rapidly crisscrossed and dueled in the underground training area, dazzling to onlookers. The collision of Magic Power fragnts, the falling crystal pieces, the fleeting sword arcs, and various lights and shadows ca one after another, until minutes later when the Crystal Core-ford figure completely shattered, signaling the end of the match.
Clapping sounds echoed in the quiet underground space.
"Very good, no, excellent, Sevia La," he approached the woman who was catching her breath while half-kneeling on the ground.
"The Crystal Core-ford figure you just defeated was modeled after Temisia's battle mode and ability. I am impressed that you could defeat it."
The woman stood up and reached out her hand, and soon, an Autonomous Unit descended from the do, handing her a clean towel.
After quickly wiping her face, she turned around to face the Student Council President.
"You flatter , Senior," she said, though her voice was slightly coarse for soone of Elf Bloodline, and her brows were not as delicate as those of most Elves. "The Crystal Core Phantom was an imitation of Temisia, but it probably didn't even possess a third of her actual combat strength."
"You're right, but you're only a sophomore now; you have plenty of ti to progress and surpass her," he said.
"Given ti, I shouldn't hope to achieve the sa status as her," he smiled, then turned to look at the large mural on the wall of the training area—a scene captured at a Winter Festival gala from years before, where a purple-eyed, wild girl soared through the brightly lit night sky, her posture rebellious and impactful.
After quietly admiring the painting for a long while, the man turned back around.
"Seviara, are you ready to take over my position and bring a new legend to Saint Ingo Academy?" he asked.
