Another pile of corpses again, but this ti it's the Blue Skin Species, slightly different from the previous Red Pogranate Species.
"You're not thinking of eating them, are you?" Seeing Guy guarding the pile of bodies, Sura casually said as she ca over.
"It's not impossible, after all, they aren't the Red Pogranate Species, so they're not heavily polluted." Guy replied casually.
"Absolutely not, although we're short on food now, it hasn't co to that point yet." Sura sighed.
"Cannibalism is too primitive, I know so very poor settlents have to do this to get through the winter, but we, at least, should avoid it, or I'll go crazy." She looked at the dead Blue Skin Species' bodies, stepped forward, and tapped them with the butt of her gun, feeling they were a bit stiff.
"They're already stiff, if not dealt with soon, they'll start to stink and breed maggots, that scene is disgusting, if you've seen it once, you wouldn't want to see it again."
"Have you seen it before?" Guy thought of sothing.
"I have, saw it the first year I ca here, back then the settlent's population was small, not enough manpower and energy to deal with the bodies, resulting in a very maddening scene I witnessed." Sura said, stepping back a few steps and shaking her head.
"For a long ti after that, I didn't want to eat at, until Mimi ca, she cooks really well, healed ."
"Mimi is of the Cat Tail Species, her fingers are also very dexterous, she's good at making bland food look and sll delicious, if only the settlent had better spices, she could definitely make extravagant als."

This ti, although they were humanoid, the Blue Skin Species differed too much in size, skin, and appearance from normal people, making it hard for her to feel deeply. Reason just told her, they were considered wise creatures, maybe partly human.
Better not dwell on such matters, Tilan reminded herself, in this world environnt, the moral laws of Federation society don't apply.
Her thoughts shifted to what was being discussed in the room.
"On the way to Shilin Mountain Castle, there are several settlents, among them, two have decent relations with us. When you go, you can trade and exchange goods, and also visit old friends." Moose advised Sura and Guy.
"I understand, chief ans the 'Red Pogranate' settlent, where Cat Tail Species gather, and the 'Lake Wind' cattle-herding settlent, right?" Sura replied.
"That's right, 'Red Pogranate's leader is Chi Zhi, she's wise and knows restraint, 'Lake Wind' settlent's leader is Dao Zhang, we fought together before, back then we repelled the invaders of the Barbarian Teeth Clan." Moose slowly narrated past events, mainly to inform Guy, as Sura knew many of these.
"Haha, Guy probably doesn't know, chief used to do such amazing things, you've seen the thick, long barbarian tooth hanging on the hall wall, that's the chief's trophy from back then." Sura wiggled her finger.
"That winter, a group of cannibalistic Barbarian Teeth Clan ca to our land, they even had a giant mammoth covered in thick fur, using the brute force of that mammoth, they broke nurous settlent gates and walls, then went in for crazy killing and looting, it was how two settlents were wiped out."
"To say, Mimi was rescued by the chief from one of the fallen settlents, then she went to 'Red Pogranate'."
"Later, several nearby settlents had to unite, eventually driving off and scattering that Barbarian group, as for the mammoth, it was made into delicious food, although back then I had a poor appetite, didn't eat much, the remaining mammoth tusks, one was given to the Dao Zhang of the Lake Wind settlent, and the other is the one hanging by the chief."
After talking about the two friendly settlents to visit along the way, they discussed what items to buy.
