Phantom Masters reaching the Phantom King level could learn Phantom Techniques, which allowed for attacks far beyond simple Phantom Power assaults. Phantom Techniques were also divided into five levels: Heaven, Earth, Man, Xuan, and Yellow, with Heaven being the highest and Yellow the lowest. However, Phantom Techniques were rare, and a family might not even have one to call its own. Phantom Masters could also use Phantom Devices to unleash Phantom Power, thereby enhancing their attacks, among other things.

"Right, I’ll look again," Dugu Qianye said. She then went to the library, spent 50 Study Points, and searched the third floor but did not find any related books.
Later, she rembered the books her father had left her, which she hadn’t examined closely before. She took all those books out and indeed found one related to the topic. The cover of the book had the words "Dragon Soaring through the Skies" in large characters.

The introduction discussed that Phantom Power itself had no attribute, but Phantom Techniques did have attributes. However, it was best if it matched the attribute of one’s Lifesoul Contracted Beast. This "Dragon Soaring through the Skies" was, in fact, a fire-attributed Phantom Technique.
After finishing reading, Dugu Qianye said, "Xiaohuo is fire and light, so it’s still suitable for to study this Phantom Technique. But does this an I can’t learn Phantom Techniques of other attributes? Will Dandan beco fire-attributed because of the Phantom Technique I learn?"
Xiaohuo shook its head and said, "Brother Dandan’s situation is quite special, he’s not an ordinary Phantom Power Source, and there’s nothing about this in my inheritance. Why not ask Brother Dandan himself?"
Dugu Qianye thought it made sense and decided it was best to ask Dandan directly. So, she woke Dandan up, explained the situation, only to be t with a disdainful roll of the eyes.
"How dare you compare with that trash?!" Dandan said proudly, "Not only can I automatically absorb Phantom Power, but I can also contain all attributes. How could a re Phantom Technique change ! Why are you so dumb?"
Dugu Qianye touched her nose, ignoring Dandan’s disdain, and asked, "So, the Phantom Techniques I can practice are attributeless?"

"Boom," a fire dragon ford from Phantom Power collided with a distant stone, shattering it into pieces, then dissipated in the air.
"Sister, you’re amazing! You managed to cast a Phantom Technique so quickly," Xiaohuo said, clapping its little hands beside her.
Dugu Qianye looked on with satisfaction, about to go take a closer look when she heard Xiaoyin telepathically inform her of a visitor. She quickly left the Refining Demon Pot and heard the visitor still knocking on the door.
She opened the door and saw Sun Kui standing outside. She let Sun Kui into the house and asked, "Is sothing the matter?"
Upon seeing the book on Dugu Qianye’s table, Sun Kui said solemnly, "You caused quite a stir in the college and then hid yourself away, we’ve really had it rough because of you."
