Mo Feng nodded, prepared a new set of ingredients again, and began the alchemy process. Dugu Qianye extinguished the fire and stood by to watch. Although the process was still sowhat perilous, he succeeded in concocting the elixir.

"Not bad," said Dugu Qianye, "you will take charge of refining this type of elixir, and I’ll handle the others. Let’s try to finish as soon as possible and leave."

If they delayed, they feared becoming entangled in the Sea Clan’s war.

"Alright," Mo Feng nodded, and the two of them once again began their secluded cultivation.

After nearly a month, the door to the Alchemy Room finally opened. Dugu Qianye looked at Mo Feng with a smile in his eyes and said, "I didn’t expect you to break through to an eighth-rank Alchemist this ti, after I leave you should properly consolidate your progress. But rember to balance work and rest."

"I understand," Mo Feng nodded.

Dugu Qianye ntally called for Lan Yue, and after he arrived, led him out of the Refining Demon Pot.

Dugu Qianye and Lan Yue prepared to go find Gu’e, and after leaving the courtyard, they rembered that neither of them knew the way. After wandering around in circles, they finally found a guard to lead them to Gu’e’s location.

When they arrived, Lan Hong was also there. Gu’e invited them to sit down before inquiring about their visit.

Dugu Qianye took out several Space Rings, handed them to Gu’e, and then took out one more and gave it to her separately, explaining, "I have concocted so elixirs. The elixirs in the other rings are mostly similar, but the one in this ring is newly developed and its effects are much better than those of the other elixirs."

Last ti when she had taken out a Space Ring, it had startled Gu’e quite a bit. It took her so ti to get over the shock, and now Dugu Qianye brought out several rings at once, causing the corners of Gu’e’s mouth to twitch involuntarily.

Was she implying that elixirs were as common as cabbages?

Even so, Gu’e sent her Divine Sense into the Space Rings to take a look. The space inside was even bigger than the last ring, and it was still filled to the brim with elixir bottles. Moreover, each ring was identical.

Gu’e gave the rings a serious look and then handed them over to Lan Hong’s hand. Then, looking at Dugu Qianye, she sighed, "You’ve done so much for us, how should we even begin to thank you?"

"Queen, it was only a small effort on my part, nothing much," Dugu Qianye said lightly.

Lan Hong and Gu’e exchanged glances, and Lan Hong, as if having made a decision, took out a box and said, "Although you say that, we cannot think so little of it. This isn’t a reward from us, just a small gift for you."

Well, with Lan Hong putting it that way, Dugu Qianye felt it would be rude to refuse. She said, "Then I’ll accept it. Thank you, King, Queen."

She took the box, opened it, and found a water-blue pearl inside, similar to the one she had obtained in the City of Darkness, only a different color.

"It’s just a Water Spiritual Pearl. You will discover its uses in ti," said Lan Hong, revealing only what it was, without explaining its effects, perhaps wanting Dugu Qianye to uncover them herself.

Gu’e, looking at Lan Hong, knew he was actually trying to trip Dugu Qianye up a bit; in his heart, he was still grudging about her contracting Lan Yue!

"This Water Spiritual Pearl needs to recognize its master. Try to see if you can succeed," Gu’e said.

It needed to recognize a master? If it didn’t, would it still belong to her?

Dugu Qianye bit open her finger, sared her blood onto the Water Spiritual Pearl. The fresh blood wouldn’t rge into it; disappointnt flickered in both Gu’e and Lan Hong’s eyes. Just when everyone was about to give up, the blood finally rged in, followed by a blue light that shone from the room and reached outside, enveloping the entire seabed.

Dugu Qianye felt a cool sensation perating her limbs and bones, relaxing her whole body. The Water Spiritual Pearl nuzzled up to her then burrowed into her body and disappeared.

Lan Hong and Gu’e were genuinely shocked this ti, having thought that Dugu Qianye wouldn’t be able to win the Water Spiritual Pearl’s recognition. After all, her blood had not been accepted for such a long ti before, but unexpectedly, her compatibility with the Water Spiritual Pearl was incredibly high!

The Water Dragon Clan had been preserving this Water Spiritual Orb, yet not one of them had managed to gain its recognition. Now it seed that perhaps it had been waiting for the ergence of Dugu Qianye.

Lan Hong composed himself and said, "Since the Water Spiritual Pearl has recognized you as its master, you will find out about its effects in ti."

When Dugu Qianye heard Lan Hong speak, she thought he was going to say sothing significant, but instead, it was this, a feeling of a powerless retort!

Gu’e also smiled a bit, looking at Dugu Qianye and saying, "You’ve co today not just to deliver elixirs to us, but also for other matters, right?"

"Yes. I’ve co to bid farewell to the king and queen," Dugu Qianye said.

"So soon?" Gu’e said.

"I know this is rather sudden, but I still have unresolved matters, so..." Dugu Qianye said with a touch of embarrassnt.

They all knew about Dugu Qianye’s affairs, and given the current situation, thought it best she leave sooner. Yet, thinking about separating from Lan Yue, Gu’e couldn’t help but her eyes to redden.

Lan Yue, seeing her in such distress, rummaged through her Space Ring, took out a Communication Stone, and said, "Mother, keep this with you. From now on, you can use it to find ."

Gu’e took the Communication Stone handed over by Lan Yue and said, "It’s better to leave now, to avoid more trouble later."

"Indeed," Lan Hong agreed as well.

Lan Yue hugged Gu’e and said, "Mother, I will co back to see you when I have the ti."

Dugu Qianye, accompanied by Lan Yue, departed. As they left, Lan Yi ca to see them off. Seeing them truly leave, his heart felt relieved, yet the glance Dugu Qianye gave him before leaving made his heart tighten again. But she didn’t say anything and simply left with Lan Yue.

She knew about the past incidents! This was the ssage Dugu Qianye transmitted to Lan Yi. She at least knew it was he who had ordered soone to take Dandan out and throw it away!

But he didn’t know why she hadn’t spoken out.

After Dugu Qianye and her company had left, Lan Hong distributed the elixirs to so of the generals, and let the soldiers know of the elixirs’ existence. Anyone who was injured could go and claim them.

Before long, soone ca to report, "Your Majesty, Your Highness the Queen, the Whale Shark Clan, in alliance with groups from other races, are encroaching on our territory."

"They’re truly coming? Issue my orders, everyone is to take two elixirs and be on standby, ready to deploy!" Lan Hong instructed. With those elixirs, their already good chances of victory were now even more solidified.

What kind of war broke out under the sea, Dugu Qianye and her companions no longer concerned themselves with, for they had already arrived at the surface.

"Whoosh—"

With bursts of sound, Dugu Qianye and Lan Yue erged from the water’s surface.

"Sister, there’s an island over there." Lan Yue pointed towards an island not far away.
