"So, there is a way to go there?" Dugu Qianye asked.
"It’s possible. But it requires a high level of Spiritual Power," Zi Xiao said. "You’re still far from that level now, and few who go to Endless Hell ever survive."
Dugu Qianye said, "I’m just thinking, at least to give the senior brother so hope."
"I’ll take you there to have a look if there’s a chance in the future," Zi Xiao said, "when you reach the required level."
"You know how to get to Endless Hell?" Dugu Qianye asked Zi Xiao with surprise.
"Yes," Zi Xiao nodded. "But I can’t tell you right now."

Dugu Qianye nodded, understanding that if he chose not to tell her, he had his reasons.
After tidying up the kitchen, Dugu Qianye, having slept a lot in the afternoon, took out the Formation Array Book that Zi Xiao gave her to study in the evening.

After flying for two days in the Western Desert, they finally saw the shape of the Fla Abyss—a mass of yellow wrapped around a streak of red from above.
Dugu Qianye and two companions stopped so distance away from the Fla Abyss, the temperature ahead was too high for Hao Pengyou and Zi Xiao to proceed any further.
"You guys wait here for , I’ll be all right going down alone," said Dugu Qianye after assessing the situation ahead.
"All right," nodded Hao Pengyou. He knew his limits well, and there was no need to show off in such a situation.
"If you don’t co back after a long ti, I’ll go down to look for you," Zi Xiao said.
After pondering, Dugu Qianye took out the Communication Stone and said, "You can use this to check on . I’ll talk to you and report my status every once in a while."
Hao Pengyou took out the matching Communication Stone, shook it, and said, "You better rember, if we can’t find you later, we’re coming down directly."
Dugu Qianye nodded and then flew towards the Fla Abyss alone.
Perhaps it was because the flas had been burning continuously that their level had been constantly increasing. What was once a Strange Fire of low grade had, after tens of thousands of years of ceaseless burning, reached a very high level now; the flas possessed great spirituality and a frighteningly high temperature.
Dugu Qianye landed at the edge of the Abyss, looked down, and could only see red flas, nothing else. The rocks on both sides were burned to a dark red hue. So sand blown over by the wind would disintegrate into ash before it even hit the bottom.
After observing for a while, she called out to Yan. Yan flew around Dugu Qianye a couple of tis after erging, hovering up and down in front of her, visibly excited.
"Yan, I’m going down. Can you lead the way?" Dugu Qianye asked Yan.
Yan bobbed up and down again, then darted down into the Abyss. Dugu Qianye hurriedly jumped and followed it down.
The flas along the way parted to both sides, allowing Dugu Qianye to reach the bottom of the Abyss unhard. She looked around and saw flas everywhere except in her imdiate vicinity.
"I wonder where Father is being held," Dugu Qianye muttered, then picked a direction at random and started walking. Yan always led the way in front of her, walking with its head held high, reminiscent of an emperor inspecting his soldiers, as the flas parted on either side wherever it passed.
As Dugu Qianye moved forward, she suddenly leapt to one side, and the spot where she had been standing was corroded beyond recognition. She glanced at the corroded area and sent out a burst of Spiritual Power towards her left front side; a muffled groan followed, and then a fiery red figure appeared in her sight.
"Audacious human, how dare you co here!" the figure roared at Dugu Qianye.
Dugu Qianye watched the figure that was gradually approaching—a giant Mutated Fire Scorpion!
It was a slight surprise for Dugu Qianye to find a Spiritual Beast here. This must be natural selection in action; the Spiritual Beasts that could adapt to environntal changes survived and, as the environnt evolved, they beca more formidable.
This Mutated Fire Scorpion wasn’t of a very high level, but it had a hard shell, sharp pincers, an exceedingly long tail, and a swollen gland of venom on the tail, making it no easy opponent.
Dugu Qianye faced the Mutated Fire Scorpion and said, "Why shouldn’t I co? There’s no rule that forbids humans from coming here."
"The master said, any human who cos to the Abyss must be driven out," the Mutated Fire Scorpion said, waving its pincers at Dugu Qianye.
