The Family Head of the Dugu Clan was from the first branch, while the people from the second, third, fourth, and fifth branches served as elders, assisting the Family Head in managing clan affairs. The eldest of the second branch was the Great Elder, the third branch’s was the Second Elder, fourth branch’s was the Third Elder, and fifth branch’s was the Fourth Elder. She smiled and said, "People say what matches their character, it seems likely that no one taught you either, dear great-grandmother."

Only the couple from the Second Elder’s branch smiled kindly at Dugu Qianye.
