Dugu Qianye ignored the saliva Dudu intentionally rubbed onto her body, pinched his little face, and asked, "Are you all ready?"
"Of course!" Dudu said, patting his little chest, "I put a lot of effort into growing the Fuyu Flower!"
"Hehe, thank you, Dudu!" Dugu Qianye planted a big kiss on Dudu, leaving a retaliatory sar of saliva on his face. Dudu wiped his face with a disgusted hand.
Then, Dugu Qianye carried Dudu into the Alchemy Room to begin concocting the elixir that would heal them.
Since it was her first ti making it, it took a long while, and during that ti, a constant little blue figure appeared outside the Alchemy Room.
"Why hasn’t Sis co out yet?" Lan Yue, the baby, plucked a flower, sitting at the entrance of the Alchemy Room, tearing the petals off one by one, then piecing them back together again.
After a long ti, the door to the Alchemy Room finally opened. Dugu Qianye was about to step out when she spotted Lan Yue sitting by the door; she quickly sidestepped to avoid kicking him out.
"Baby? What are you doing sitting at the door?" Dugu Qianye asked.
Lan Yue, hearing the sound of the door opening, scrambled up from the ground and clung to Dugu Qianye’s legs, bursting into tears.
Dugu Qianye picked up Lan Yue, wiped the tears from his face, and asked, "What’s wrong? Who has bullied you to make you cry this hard?"
"Wuu, Sis, I want to be just like them!" Lan Yue sobbed and said.
Just like them?
"Like what?" Dugu Qianye asked.
"Wuu, like Sister Xiaohuo, Sister Qingluan, they are all your Contract Beasts, I want to be Sis’s Contract Beast too!" Lan Yue said.
"Eh, why do you suddenly want to be my Contract Beast?" Dugu Qianye asked. She hadn’t discussed the matter of making a contract with Lan Yue - she planned to let Lan Yue live here until it was ti to find the sea and then let him leave on his own. She had heard about a sea in the Yuling Continent and was thinking of making a trip there; otherwise, she would have to go out of her way to find a realm with a sea for him.

Dugu Qianye felt like she was a child kidnapper. Making a contract with Lan Yue would not be harmful to her, but since she had watched him grow up and he was still ntally immature, she didn’t want to contract him while he still didn’t understand things.
Seeing Dugu Qianye still reluctant, Lan Yue cried even harder. Then, taking advantage of the mont Dugu Qianye was wiping his tears, he bit her hand and initiated the contract himself.

Expecting an enemy, they were surprised to see their own Family Head and the forr Family Head, who had disappeared for over a decade. Did this an they had been rescued?
"How are you feeling? Is there any discomfort?" Mo Zhenting asked.
"No discomfort, forr Family Head," the old butler said excitedly upon seeing Mo Zhenting.
"What about your Phantom Power Sources?" Mo Chi asked.
At the ntion of Phantom Power Sources, the awakened guards from the Mo Family all looked downcast. They knew their Phantom Power Sources had been destroyed before they had lost consciousness, and now they were useless cripples. The fact that their family hadn’t abandoned them filled them with emotion, yet, thinking of themselves as now useless, the emotion was bittersweet.
Seeing their expressions, it was evident they had misunderstood. Mo Ziqing said, "Your Phantom Power Sources have been repaired. Feel it for yourselves."
What?!
The words of Mo Ziqing left them stunned. Their Phantom Power Sources had been fixed? They had never heard of shattered Phantom Power Sources being restored!
"The elixir that Qianye concocted for you, you’ve just taken it. Feel it now, and if there’s a problem, tell Qianye," the fourth elder Mo said.
It was then that they quickly checked their Phantom Power Sources and, finding them truly restored, looked towards Dugu Qianye and the brothers of the Mo Family with excitent.
