"Miss, we have been searching for a day and a night without finding Dugu Qianye. Continuing like this isn’t going to work," said a sneaky-looking man as he addressed Bai Fenglan while a Level 3 Super Divine Beast carried three people flying through the sky.
After they had entered, they remained fairly close to each other and managed to group up via the Communication Stones, then they started searching for Dugu Qianye. But after a day and a night, they had not only failed to find Dugu Qianye but even the sight of other people was scarce. If they continued this way, once the one-month deadline arrived, their venture into this realm would have been for naught.
"Yes, Miss, isn’t there a way to find out where that wretch is?" another person asked.
"What thod?" Bei Fenglan thought for a mont and took out a piece of jade from her Space Ring. This jade was given to her by Tian Rung before she entered, saying it could find Dugu Qianye’s trace. After she entered, she was so anxious to find Dugu Qianye for revenge that she had forgotten about this item.
The other two people saw her take it out and leaned in to look.
"Miss, are these three black dots us, then is this black dot that bitch?" the sleazy man asked.
"It should be."
"Not far away."
Bei Fenglan put away the White Jade Stone and then said to the Beast beneath her, "Head southeast."
"Miss, that bitch is said to have many Spiritual Beasts, and if we go up like this, we may not be her match," another man said.
"Right, we need to think of so thod. Little Linzi, you have many ideas, think of what we can do," Bei Fenglan said.
The Super Divine Beast carried the three people toward Dugu Qianye, discussing along the way how to deal with her.
On the other side, Dugu Qianye was carefully crossing a swamp with Xiaohuo.
"Sister, I can’t even fly here," Xiaohuo said while poking the swamp in front of him with a stick to test whether he could set foot on it.
"It is strange. I haven’t heard anyone say there are no-fly zones in the secret realm. Now even you can’t fly," Dugu Qianye glanced at the gloomy sky and always felt there was sothing odd about this place.
Originally, after waking up in the morning, she had Xiaohuo carry her in search of dry land since the Fuyu Flowers grew in drier environnts. Xiaohuo flew for a while but suddenly couldn’t fly over this swamp, and they both fell to the ground. Fortunately, Xiaohuo wasn’t flying high, so they didn’t fall into the swamp, but they were still covered in mud.
Afterwards, as they got up, Dugu Qianye tried to take out a set of clean clothes from her space to change out of her dirty ones, suddenly discovering that the Space Ring couldn’t be used here. She was greatly startled, then found that she couldn’t take anything out from the Refining Demon Pot either.
She felt a whirl of panic for half a minute before accepting this fact. She had taken things out from her space just this morning, so the situation should be the sa as Xiaohuo not being able to fly. Fortunately, the use of Spiritual Power was unaffected, which reassured her.
The two trudged through the swamp, one step deep, another shallow, also having to deal with the occasional Spiritual Beast. Their bodies were splattered with mud, even on their faces, looking very disheveled.
"Sister, there’s a noise," Xiaohuo suddenly stopped and said.
Dugu Qianye listened intently and said, "It seems like a large herd of Spiritual Beasts is coming. We’re about to get out of the swamp; we need to hurry, or it will be very disadvantageous for us."
"Okay," Xiaohuo nodded, and they quickened their pace, finally leaving the swamp just as they saw the vanguard of the Spiritual Beast horde.
But when the two saw the onrushing herd of Beasts, they were unsettled.
"Oh my god!" Xiaohuo exclaid for the first ti upon seeing the Spiritual Beasts.
Seeing the formation ahead, the corner of Dugu Qianye’s mouth couldn’t help but twitch. Did it have to be this explosive?!
They saw hundreds of Spiritual Beasts rushing from the plains ahead, kicking up dust that enveloped the sky. Each Spiritual Beast was of no low grade!
