"Grandpa Bai, this is also a way of repaying you for taking care of Grandpa for so long," Dugu Qianye said, "Besides, with Tongtong’s talent in alchemy, any alchemist would have a heart that cherishes such skill."

Silver wanted to say sothing else, his mouth moved, but then he swallowed his words.

Dugu Qianye summoned a Fire Phantom Beast from the Refining Demon Pot and had Tongtong form a contract with it.

"An alchemist needs to have their own fla to better refine elixirs."

After that, Dugu Qianye took out a Space Ring, cut Tongtong’s finger, and helped him drip blood to acknowledge the owner.

"Inside here are so dicinal ingredients I’ve left for you, so you won’t run out when you practice making ordinary elixirs. Alchemy requires constant practice, you know?"

"I know, Brother, I will work hard!" Tongtong said, "When I grow up, I will go find you with Grandpa. By then, I will definitely make you proud of !"

"Hehe, alright. I’ll be waiting," Dugu Qianye patted Tongtong’s head and said with a smile.

"Let’s go," Mo Zhenting said to Dugu Qianye.

Everyone called out their own Phantom Beasts and then flew towards the seaside. Hei Zi and the others were already there waiting.

As Tongtong held the newly contracted Phantom Beast, he shouted at the back of Dugu Qianye, "Brother, I will definitely co to find you!"

Silver patted Tongtong’s shoulder and said, "She’s not a fish to swim in water, but an eagle destined to soar in the sky. If you want to keep up with her, you’ll have to work hard."

"Mhm! I will!" Tongtong said earnestly. He then sensed the Space Ring that Dugu Qianye had given him.

"Grandpa..." Tongtong was stunned, calling out to Silver sowhat at a loss for words.

"What’s wrong?"

"The Space Ring that Brother gave is so big, much larger than the one left by my mother." The one left by his mother was already relatively large.

"And, there are so many dicinal ingredients inside, almost piling up into mountains," Tongtong added.

"The favor she has given you is really not small," Silver remarked emotionally, "Taking care of her grandfather was originally to repay a favor, but now... only by working hard now can you hope to repay her in the future."

Tongtong looked in the direction Dugu Qianye had left, and silently said in his heart, "Brother, I will definitely co to find you!"

On this side, Dugu Qianye and his companions arrived at the place agreed with Hei Zi and saw them standing on the mountaintop, looking at the water wall not far away. Hearing movent behind them, they turned around to see Dugu Qianye and the others had arrived.

"How is it?" Hei Zi asked.

"This is my grandfather Mo Zhenting, this is the principal of Empire College, Qiongli, and this is Grandpa Youwu," Dugu Qianye introduced, "And this is Hei Zi, the second in command of the Secret Pavilion."

"I have long revered the great nas of the elders, and I am honored to et you today," Hei Zi said, bowing courteously, but inside he was wondering, the people Dugu Qianye knew were too impressive. Normally, it was already difficult to et a Phantom Venerable, yet, except for Youwu, the others who ca were all at the level of Phantom Venerable!

"You are Hei Zi?" Youwu looked at Hei Zi up and down.

"Indeed, this junior," Hei Zi replied.

"How co you don’t fit the rumors?" Youwu finished observing and said, "But regardless of the rumors, the fact that you’ve been able to stand up to the Divine Temple for so many years is comndable!"

"Uh—" Hei Zi let out an awkward laugh.

"How’s the situation outside? Can we move?" Dugu Qianye asked.

"The Sea Phantom Beasts are still out there, not sure what’s keeping them here. But since that big uproar that day, there haven’t been any major disturbances," Hei Zi answered, "It’s just that the water wall has not receded."

Dugu Qianye looked at the water wall, her eyes narrowing slightly. The water wall had risen when she made the contract with Little Baiqiu, and the commotion with the Phantom Beasts had also started then. Could everything truly be connected to Little Baiqiu? She tilted her head to glance at Little Baiqiu nibbling on a nut on her shoulder, but couldn’t figure it out.

"Let’s try to see if we can leave through the air," Mo Zhenting said.

The others expressed their agreent, while the people from the Divine Temple showed an awkward expression.

"Um, most of us have Sea Phantom Beasts, and the Flying Beasts are all injured. So..." Hei Zi said, sowhat embarrassed.

"In that case, you can co with us," Dugu Qianye said.

"If so, thank you very much."

Dugu Qianye summoned Qingluan, and the people of the Divine Temple were utterly astonished.

"A Super Divine Beast..."

Mo Chi and the others also called out their Contract Beasts, and the people from the Divine Temple’s jaws dropped. Even Qiongli and Mo Zhenting were given quite a shock.

"My goodness!" Youwu was seeing Mo Chi and his brothers’ Phantom Beasts for the first ti and, after being stunned for a mont, exclaid excitedly, "You brothers actually have Super Divine Beasts, haha, when will you snag one for this old man too?!"

"Er, Dugu Qianye tad these for us."

Upon hearing this, Youwu imdiately jumped in front of Dugu Qianye and said ingratiatingly, "Girl, darling, when will you ta one for too? Look at how pitiful your grandpa is, without even a Super Divine Beast."

Dugu Qianye was frightened by Youwu’s behavior, her head full of black lines, and said, "I can help you with taming and such if you can catch one."

"Eh, how can I defeat a Super Divine Beast? Aren’t you just making things difficult for your grandpa?" Youwu looked at Dugu Qianye with a pitiful face, blinking his small eyes furiously, which tickled Dugu Qianye into laughter.

"Next ti, there’s a chance, I’ll let Qingluan and the others help you catch one," Dugu Qianye said.

"Girl, you can’t play favorites. We want one too," Qiongli quickly interjected, afraid of being forgotten if he was too late.

"Okay," Dugu Qianye nodded. To her now, these things were not difficult.

The people from the Secret Pavilion watched Dugu Qianye’s interaction with Youwu, envious and whispered, "We want one too."

"Hmm, there will be," Hei Zi pulled out his iron fan and snapped it open with a swish, saying, "as long as our Pavilion Master is diligent."

"Hmm?" What did he an? The people from the Secret Pavilion didn’t understand.

"You’ll understand later," Hei Zi said with a smile, without explaining.

The group boarded the Flying Beasts, with Qingluan and the others flapping their wings, flying away from the island. However, when they got above the water wall, they felt as though they were blocked by sothing.

"Master, we can’t fly out," Qingluan said to Dugu Qianye, "it feels like there’s sothing in the way up ahead."

"Try to see if you can break it with Phantom Power," Dugu Qianye said.

"Okay."

Mo Chi concentrated his Phantom Power and shot it at the water wall, but upon contact, the water wall absorbed it, not causing even a ripple.

"What’s going on?"

"Let give it a try."

Qiongli also concentrated his Phantom Power and shot it at the water wall, with the sa result as Mo Chi. Everyone looked at each other, not understanding what was happening.
