It was not the base's first ti encountering intruders, but no one had blatantly bombed the mountain gate before all these years.
After he was sure Shangguan Hou was fine, the security team chief disregarded everything and quickly left.
After taking the pill, Shangguan Hou rested briefly and turned to go back to the control room angrily.
The control room was in chaos.
Not only could explosions be heard repeatedly from outside, but the computers in the control room were also paralyzed.
Shangguan Hou glanced at the people in the control room. "Where's everyone?"
"Are you talking about Mr. Liang? When the explosion went off, he walked out," replied soone from the side.

When he ntioned the tech departnt, soone put down his work and quickly replied. "Yes."
He paused briefly, looked at the empty seat beside him, and hurriedly explained. "Zhu has a stomach ache, so he went to the bathroom. He'll be back soon."
Shangguan Hou glanced at the dead computers sternly. "Why is he in the bathroom at a ti like this? Are you sure he's really Zhu?"
The tech departnt staff was stunned. "If he's not Zhu, then who is he?"
Multi-level verification had to be made to enter the base. Retina scanning was even required to enter the control room. If he was not the real Zhu, how could he have passed the verification?
The staff suddenly thought about Zhu's recent introverted personality. Sothing seed different about his persona. He could not help feeling unsure, so he stood up and said anxiously, "Let check the bathroom."
The mont he finished his sentence, he quickly ran out.
If he was not the real Zhu, he was probably the culprit behind the problems they had been facing in the control room.
After a couple of minutes, the staff ca back looking worried. "No one was in the bathroom. The retina scanning at the door was deactivated as well."
Shangguan Hou had already guessed as much.
From the mont he encountered Zhu at the tech departnt chief's office, he found his face fishy. Since he was not entirely sure back then, he simply asked about Zhu briefly.
After leaving the control room, he had all his attention on catching Shangguan Yu and forgot to find the traitor first. This gave Shangguan Yu the chance to escape.
As Shangguan Hou pondered, he could sense the taste of blood in his mouth. Owing to the poison, he could feel waves of pain sweeping through his body. A second later, he fainted.
Everyone was startled.
"Mr. Shangguan…"

anwhile, outside the mountain gate.
"Boss, more explosives?" Zhuo Yun checked the watch on his wrist and asked.
Min Yu was dressed in black and almost blended into the night completely. "Continue."
Zhuo Yun's face twitched. He glanced at the blown up top left side of the wall. "I have a feeling that if this goes on, Miss Huo might get trapped inside."
After all, they knew nothing about ancient-style chanisms. If sothing went wrong with the chanism due to the bombing, it would be bad.
"Continue bombing two ters away from the mountain gate." Min Yu remained calm.
Zhuo Yun picked up another small bomb and placed it in the spot his boss ntioned. After he was done, he quickly retreated so distance.
Just as he was about to press the detonator, he could hear the sound of sothing opening.
Zhuo Yun paused briefly, looked up, and saw the heavy mountain gate opening slowly.
