1545 Don’t Be Rude
Huo Yao tapped on her phone screen a few tis after sending the text ssage. A few seconds later, she put the phone into her pocket before she lowered her head to eat lunch quietly.
The mont J saw she wanted to sever ties with him, he was stunned. He promptly handed the luggage to his assistant and typed: [No, don’t. Even if you want to execute , you should at least tell why, right?]
After sending the text ssage, a red exclamation mark appeared in front of the chat box indicating that she had blacklisted him.
J was at a loss.
He tried to send yet another text ssage, but nothing changed.
From the looks of it, she ant what she said about severing ties with him.
J’s assistant caught the look of worry on his boss’ face, so he automatically asked. “Is everything okay?”
J was still reeling in shock that Huo Yao had dumped him. No matter how he tried to find other ans of communicating with Huo Yao, it was impossible.
In hindsight, they had t online and he did not have any other ans of getting in touch with her.
Since he was a hacker, he had hacked into her phone effortlessly. They had been communicating via text ssaging ever since then.
On second thought, he was not good enough to get into her phone. She had probably left a backdoor so that they could communicate.
J pulled his slightly wavy hair as he contemplated. He did not understand why she would suddenly sever ties with him.
They just had an enjoyable conversation yesterday!
“I want to know what we have done recently.” J turned to look at his assistant as he spoke sternly.
His assistant paused briefly before nodding reverently. “Okay.”
“Send the location of the hotel,” said J as he strode out of the airport.
His assistant caught up with J as he said, “Mr. Wei from the institute wants to buy you dinner.”
“Cancel it.” J raised his hand and answered without a second thought.
His father wanted to sever ties with him, how could he have dinner at a ti like this?
The assistant did not dare to probe further at a ti like this. “Okay. Got it.”

Huo Yao got to school punctually at 9:00 am the next morning.
When she got to Liu Qian’s office, he was talking to Qi Hui.
Qi Hui glanced at Huo Yao and stopped talking. He said mildly, “Let’s go. We don’t want to be late.”
He strode out of the office the mont he finished his sentence.
Huo Yao was wearing a khaki coat today with her sleeves rolled up to reveal her fair wrists. She saw the frown on Liu Qian’s face, so she comforted him and said confidently, “Dude, don’t worry about today.”
Liu Qian felt slightly moved by her comfort and even disregarded her casual tone. “Uh huh. When we get to the institute, you don’t have to do anything. I’ll handle the communication.”
Huo Yao raised her brow but eventually said nothing.
