To think that he would grow up to a point where he was strong enough to protect Konoha on his own.
Hiruzen had a relieved smile on his face as he gazed at the file on the table, he felt like he could finally pass on the torch to soone worthy.
Itsuki had everything whether it was background or strength, his parents were one of the people who Hiruzen trusted the most.
And since the village started with the Senju then it isn't that bad to leave it to the Senju.
He could guess so of Itsuki's plans but he didn't have the energy nor the mind to question him.
He didn't know whether this was good or bad for the village but he knew he shouldn't intervene.
The position of ANBU commander and Hokage would most likely belong to the Senju clan from now on, but he didn't care.

While Hiruzen was in his thoughts he heard the door opening and he knew who it was without even looking.
There was only one person who would rudely enter his office without any manners as if he owned the whole place....maybe inside his mind he did own this place but dreams should be reserved for when you are asleep.
" Hiruzen! " Danzo shouted at Hiruzen as soon as he ca in, he was currently in a very bad mood.
With the bad rumours being spread among the villagers and there was even a small petition to arrest him for interrogation.
He tried his best to find out who was spreading these rumours, but it seed as if the person spreading the rumours didn't exist at all.
Thus Danzo ca to the conclusion that this was a conspiracy by a hidden enemy, an enemy who clearly knew how to hurt Konoha where it mattered.
Danzo had to comnd them for trying to target him, they figured out that he was the most important part of Konoha, the darkness of Konoha, the guardian that guards it from the shadows, the protector of the roots of the great tree known as Konoha.
Konoha can do without a Hokage but it couldn't do without him Danzo! He was one of the most important cogs in the machine known as Konoha, and these enemies in the dark were smart enough to realise his importance.
Danzo sighed inside his mind, they truly made a bold move this ti and had Konoha by the throat.
If they didn't respond appropriately and address these rumours then Konoha would be in grave danger because he was an integral part of this village and was too important to its prosperity.
Danzo had a solemn expression on his face as he gazed seriously at Hiruzen who was looking calmly at him, Danzo couldn't help but feel a bit resentful after seeing Hiruzen's relaxed appearance.
He was sure that Hiruzen should have heard of the malicious rumours and the malicious sar campaign that was ongoing against him, he knew but he didn't take any action to help him.
Doesn't he know his Danzo's importance to the village? Is Hiruzen so dumb that he couldn't understand the importance of the matter?
Danzo took a deep breath to compose himself, no matter what , he had to enlighten his old friend about the seriousness of this matter lest he commit an irredeemable blunder...

" Hiruzen, I believe Konoha is in grave danger " Danzo said in a severe tone as he stayed near the window with his back to Hiruzen in a pretentious manner trying to be mysterious.
" Hmm" Hiruzen humd noncommittally as he read the Icha Icha paradise book he kept under the table.
"It seems you and I are on the sa note my old friend... , there are enemies in the shadows, enemies who are very detrintal to the continued existence and peace of Konoha! They have already started implenting their sinister plans! " Danzo said in a deep voice trying to convey the graveness of this situation.
" Is that so...." Hiruzen said pretending to be interested as he continued reading his book, it was a good thing Danzo had his back to him but even if he turned he would only see Hiruzen with his head down seemingly brooding about sothing.
" Haah! ...I knew you wouldn't be oblivious to this issue, I am sorry for doubting you Hiruzen, I was too narrowminded you must waiting for the enemies in the dark to reveal themselves! " Danzo said in an apologetic tone as he suddenly had an understanding of this matter.
It seems he was too impatient, Hiruzen still cared about him and he was just biding his ti to take swift actions.
Danzo felt a sense of sha wash over him as he thought about his previous thoughts on Hiruzen, how could he doubt Hiruzen?
" Yes?" Hiruzen was a bit confused but he still said yes and focused on the important piece of literature in his hands.
He had an idea of what Danzo was dawdling about and the big enemy that Danzo was rambling on about was the Konoha ANBU and him.
" Sure enough Hiruzen you are as astute as ever! " Danzo let out a word of praise as he couldn't help but admire Hiruzen's shrewdness, it seems the man he loved didn't lose to him in terms of intelligence....

So of my works are on Hiatus but don't worry I'll pick them up after I finish writing these 3 fics , I would never leave anything unfinished.

It was never my intention to put them on Hiatus but I just couldn't write so many fics in one day as I felt miserable cuz I don't have ti to read it play any gas.
Now that I have started going to the gym I have even less ti.
3 fics are the maximum I can do a day without burning myself out.
