"The one who died was Li Aozi... it has nothing to do with Leoz, of course."

Li Aozi sneered:

"You haven’t had my kind of experience, so you, a deity without joys and sorrows, are of course fine. But I’m not like that. Everything I’ve gone through is precious. You want to risk my life and die, fine! Even if the main body representing ’Leoz’ won’t perish, what about my loss of experiences? Is that not important?"

"I’m employing a strategy of keeping two and striving for one."

Leoz said coldly:

"Gio Zieou died early, but still remains active within the Starry Abyss as a Descender. I believe this is the Starry Abyss not wanting to waste resources. The emotional ’Li Aozi’ may be able to increase the upper limit of strength, but preserving the lower limit of the main body of ’Leoz’ ensures more stable efficiency."

"Say what you want. I’m not going to foolishly walk up to Redd Gold and say that."

Li Aozi retorted angrily:

"You know, your efficiency-driven thinking often leads to decisions that seem foolish to normal people—old man, you’re way behind the tis."

"I don’t refute it, decisions are ti-sensitive."

Leoz wasn’t angry; Li Aozi even doubted he had emotions at all.

"Ti is ending."

Leoz’s form gradually beca fragnted and distorted, and his voice drifted away:

"Go strengthen your soul; we will talk again."

Before Li Aozi could respond, the black-and-white world collapsed rapidly.

Drip, drip, drip...

It was drizzling outside the window. The President’s office was filled with the scent of magical incense, making the atmosphere tranquil and relaxed.

Li Aozi’s main body sat in the seat, gripping the armrests tightly. He slowly opened his eyes, and his gray pupils flashed with a hint of blue before returning to normal.

"Damn Leoz... other people’s past lives leave behind divine skills and insights, but why does Leoz leave a bunch of enemies?"

Li Aozi couldn’t help but mutter.

Up until now, Leoz had not only repeatedly interfered with his character decisions, but now he had proposed so extrely outrageous decisions—if Li Aozi didn’t know that this guy was essentially the sa person as him, he’d really suspect that Leoz wanted to kill him.

He quickly took out a synthetic Truth dicine, swallowed it, and completely blocked Leoz’s influence on him.

"It’s not like there’s no legacy... Old man Leoz has one of the top three sequences in his hands. Once fused completely, my strength will undergo a qualitative change, possibly enough to disrupt the current order of the Starry Abyss."

Thinking of this, Li Aozi felt a bit strange:

"[Chaos], [Void], [Paradox]."

"These three types of Arcane Energy’s levels and strength far exceed other Arcane Energies, completely treating the laws like a football to be kicked around, making scientists question their reality. Once developed to the extre, they could easily trigger cosmic catastrophes, even create universes, rewrite fundantal laws, and overturn all reality..."

"But even so, Leoz, wielding the three great mandates, couldn’t defeat the Gaia of the Secret Society. He even hopes I would ally with Redd Gold to resist the invasion of Earthlings."

Just how strong is Gaia... Even the Destroyer isn’t that formidable, is he?

Thinking of this, Li Aozi realized that his past understanding of the universe was sowhat lacking.

In that case, the current structure of the Starry Abyss needs to be redefined.

He picked up a pen and began writing and drawing on the projection screen.

"The current structure of the Starry Abyss should basically be categorized like this:"

"Due to the lack of appearance in many years, the threat of the Destroyer can be temporarily set aside—thus, according to major factions, it can be primarily divided into: the Starry Abyss Sect, and the [Society] group. These two categories."

"The Starry Abyss Sect: With the principle of advancing civilization, they collectively defend the supre status of the native civilization of the Starry Abyss—represented by the 13 Narrative-level civilizations and nurous small-to-dium-sized civilizations. Even an evil narrative-level entity like the ’Void Garden’ would stand together against the invasion of the [Society]."

"[Society] group: There’s nothing much to say; all [Society] forces invading from beyond the Abyss are naturally on the sa faction. Their common goal is to devour civilization and invade the Starry Abyss; hence, the Secret Society, Outer Society, lodic Society, Forged Society, and chanical World Society are all mortal enemies of the Starry Abyss Sect."

By dividing it like this, the structure instantly beca clear.

Within the Starry Abyss Sect, there’s a competition among various civilizations, factional conflicts, and divine crusades, all of which are normal—like family quarrels.

The [Society] group also has internal conquests, mutual devouring, and the natural competition of the bigger fish eating the smaller fish. These are all perfectly natural.

But between the Starry Abyss and the [Society], it was no longer family quarreling but mortal enemies eting, with an unmistakable urge to fight to the death.

Even the evil narrative entity ’Void Garden’ would choose to unite with other civilizations against the [Society] when facing their invasion.

The sa principle applies conversely. When the Forged Society is being hunted by various [Society] factions in the universe, they put aside their differences and roar back at the narrative-level civilizations when jointly besieged.

"To pull friends onto the sa battle line, we must clearly understand our stance. Only then can we identify those worth striving for and those who must be eliminated."

Though Leoz’s speech was outrageous, it gave Li Aozi a new perspective.

Existences like Redd Gold have a status in both the Starry Abyss and [Society]—what kind of concept is that?

Both black and white sides have their people, the referee and athlete are the sa person, and as both spectator and author, what could you use to fight against him!

Leoz could do anything, but as soon as it involved human relations, he instantly beca a clueless novice. This unidirectional thinking might work for other things, but not for this.

Li Aozi was different. His extensive broadcasting experience showed him too much of human nature’s ugliness and taught him how to maintain relationships.

Going up against Redd Gold was too dangerous. He didn’t have the resources to take that risk, but other small-to-dium-sized civilizations and narrative-level entities—

These could be united into a common front.

Among all [Society], the strength of the Secret Society was excessively overpowered. Even Leoz couldn’t withstand it; the Earthlings were terrifying and needed to be dealt with severely.

"Capture the ringleader first" is always the best strategy when weaker forces unite to take down the strongest, then fight each other for the spoils—that is the best strategy.

"Take it slow, take it slow... Sooner or later, I’ll drive these Earthlings out of the Starry Abyss."

Li Aozi saved his drafts and then started to assess his gains from this trip:

"This trip’s harvest is quite substantial. I’ve gathered plenty of information. Although the Caral Snail’s ntality has so issues, seeing his actions makes him even more diligent—this is enough."

After all, the Caral Snail was already on the path Li Aozi had set for him and couldn’t leave him no matter what he did.

Your chosen Pathway determines your future; this is no joke.

The reason Li Aozi initially took the Pathway of the teor Fall Master actually had many reasons.

Once on this Pathway, ninety-nine percent of the ti, you have no choice but to follow it to the end.

As long as the Caral Snail remained active, Li Aozi had nothing to worry about.

As for the players supposedly being reincarnations of deities—that was no big deal.

The key is—who made these deities reincarnate back?

What did the Redemption Sprite Lai Anding do exactly?

The players were gathered and dispatched within the Starry Abyss, but what is the Terra Federation in reality?

What is the essence of "Starry Abyss"?

Li Aozi kept these questions in mind but didn’t dwell on them too deeply.

With the growth of his strength and the integration with Leoz, restoring his main body’s mory might provide answers.

The most crucial task now remained focusing on transitioning professions, leveling up, and exploring the Starry Abyss deeply.

"The most critical gain from this journey is undoubtedly the seized social institution."

He spread his hands and took out a silver guitar from the independent space-ti storage:

"’Soul Casino.’"
