[Eye of Truth]
The world had instantly turned into monochro hues of black and white, which had cramd all the visible information into Li Aozi’s brain.
The brain, adjusted by implant gear, had freed the visual system and the post-modulation computing power, and had imdiately analyzed the real trajectories of the targets. Two fighter jets had drawn paths at a low angle turn maneuver, circling on either side of him, each having launched four close combat missiles.
"He reacts so fast!"
Li Aozi, surprised, in the next mont had begun to stall and fall, letting himself freefall towards the ground like a falling leaf, making irregular, light sways in the air.
A total of eight high-maneuver close combat missiles, not long in the air, had exploded into fragnts like rain, due to the activation of their ti-delay fuses after exhausting their fuel, following the whimsically swaying figure of Li Aozi as they scattered in the air.
"Damn, what the heck— he actually used a leaf’s descent to dodge missiles!"
Magath was the first to be shocked and then felt humiliated.
In the supersonic space battles of Azure Star, reducing one’s speed and falling like a drifting leaf was not an actual combat move but a performative technique for testing the quality of aircraft.
Li Aozi had dodged their most advanced missiles with such flashy but superficial maneuvers.
Not only that, because Li Aozi had suddenly decelerated to nearly zero, the radar, based on the Doppler Principle, had instantly lost his signal.
Li Aozi had been whimsically swaying his body, hands behind his head, leisurely falling toward the ground, as the sky grew farther from him, yet he showed no sign of panic.
Not a single gravity manipulator could be killed by a fall.
It felt completely different from in the gas; the wind passing by him was a gentle and caring touch, the entire world seed endlessly indulgent to him, as if he wasn’t falling due to Earth’s core gravity, but rather, the Earth was tenderly rushing to embrace him.
The world, so beautiful indeed.
However, Ye Lifan did not feel the sa way. For a seasoned pilot witnessing such a maneuver by the target, he had already understood one thing:
"Magath, quickly retreat!"
The disparity between their aircraft was too significant; they simply couldn’t win!
The Air Force was unlike the Army; a one-generation superior quality of aircraft could easily take on twenty adversaries.
Moreover, that guy’s maneuverability was essentially mocking modern physics!
"I’m leaving now—"
Magath had just gripped the handle and dived into the clouds, activating optical stealth, hoping for protection.
However, in the next mont, Li Aozi, who had been enjoying the fall, suddenly flipped mid-air to face upward, instantly transforming into a lightning bolt as he dove into the Ersha cloud layer, his red and black battle armor rging with the sky of Ersha.
Even as Magath vigorously perford high G maneuvers, the computer still reported [an unidentified target has locked on to you]
"Strange..."
Magath grew suspicious.
That guy had anti-vehicle weapons in his hand, and he was deliberately using infrared sights to target him.
But previously, hadn’t he directly ramd those transport planes with his own body?
Why was he now purposely using infrared sights to lock on to him?
"Could it be, intimidation?"
Magath contemplated, unconsciously slowing down a bit.
Just as he slightly eased the throttle, the next mont, a figure smashed down onto the canopy in front of him.
"Damn!"
Magath’s soul nearly flew out of his body in fright, but Li Aozi didn’t waste ti talking. He raised his hand, instantly flipped open the canopy, and his palms ejected tendrils, quickly wrapping around Magath’s neck and arms to prevent him from drawing a weapon from under the seat.
"Don’t resist, turn on autopilot, and nicely parachute out. I won’t kill you guys."
Li Aozi said, opening his face armor to reveal his handso face, using the effect of Aura of Goodwill to make him give up resisting.
Seeing the friendly expression on his face, Magath imdiately relaxed his guard, gratefully glancing at Li Aozi:
"Thank you, you are truly a gentleman."
With that, he imdiately pulled the lever; the canopy blew off, the seat ejected, and soon, a white parachute blood in the air.
The uncontrolled Vulture did not plumt; Li Aozi turned around, stepped on the canopy, and his palms ejected tendrils like reins, wrapping around the nose of the plane.
"Your plane isn’t bad, but now it’s mine!"
Li Aozi ruthlessly dominated the prized possession of Frost Plated people under his feet. With the plane set on autopilot serving as a platform, he only needed to give it a direction using gravity, easily adjusting the plane’s balance with the tendrils in his hands.
This way, he saved a great deal of computational power for controlling the acceleration of gravity, freeing up his hands to deal with the remaining fighter jets.
Bang—
Li Aozi twisted the tendrils, like a knight atop a giant dragon as he turned the nose of the plane, pouncing directly towards Ye Lifan.
Ye Lifan had beco completely numb to such magical maneuvers; he indifferentiazly scattered a series of unguided rockets and constantly fired supersonic projectiles from an electromagnetic cannon, but to no avail. After Li Aozi had acquired the flight platform, he had freed up his brain powers to employ gravity, causing any projectile that ca within 50 ters of him to imdiately veer off course.
At this point, there were no other options left.
Ye Lifan had made up his mind, directly pulling up in altitude, intentionally exposing his back, inviting Li Aozi to mount on the spine of his fighter and accelerate to catch up.
