After sending the Goblin Gaga back to Nuta City, Yan Xing returned to the real world and ordered a complete set of equipnt needed for a major car repair shop.
Then, he urged Chui Chui to quickly modify the Low-level Alchemical Golems and connect them to the Eternal Domain’s information network. They now had magic energy generators and network servers. Technically skilled workers capable of executing orders precisely were the final missing piece.
Chui Chui, lacking a physical body, and with no one at the camp to provide assistance in alchemy or magic, ant Yan Xing had no choice but to get involved personally, disassembling a Low-level Alchemical Golem under Chui Chui’s guidance.
Inside the newly built Alchemy Laboratory, a stone golem was disassembled by Yan Xing on the alchemy workbench. Its detached limbs, torso, head, and various disassembled alchemical components covered an entire table.
With the actual components for reference, Chui Chui used the data obtained from them to correct the theoretical knowledge she had gathered from alchemy books. She then analyzed and optimized this information according to her requirents and specifications.
The Low-level Alchemical Golems provided by Gaga not only needed weak electrical signal to magic energy signal converters but also required the installation of more Neural Induction Sources to enhance their tactile senses and information-gathering capabilities. Furthermore, more areas needed to be covered with Homunculus Alchemy Muscle Fibers to make the golems’ movents more precise.
There were also various other minor issues, causing Chui Chui to lant how crudely these Low-level Alchemical Golems were constructed. They essentially relied on the brute force of their Homunculus Alchemy Muscle Fibers to animate a stone-crafted model.
"Master, I strongly suggest that you abandon the bodies and skeletal components of these Low-level Alchemical Golems. Apart from the alchemical parts, the rest of the structures are truly shoddy.
"The alchemical parts aren’t much better. They are clearly handmade, with very low efficiency.
"I doubt these golems could even use chopsticks.
"I suggest ordering golem body and skeletal components from the real world. Use tal for the skeleton, install the disassembled alchemical components, cover them with Homunculus Alchemy Muscle Fiber, and then apply a silicone skin.
"With nurous Alchemy Neural Induction Sources installed under the skin, you’ll have a perfect technical worker.
"The real-world adult doll factories possess very comprehensive technology. We can custom-order the skeletons, stuffing, and skin separately, then assemble them ourselves.
"As long as you, Master, can assemble the first Homunculus Alchemical Golem, I can continuously produce these excellent workers."
As Chui Chui began to present her suggestions, Yan Xing nodded repeatedly in agreent. Even if Chui Chui hadn’t ntioned it, Yan Xing had already sensed how crudely these stone figures were made during the disassembly process. They were perated, inside and out, with a design philosophy favoring brute strength over finesse.
Therefore, no amount of modification on their current stone bodies could make their limbs agile. A complete redesign of the body and joints was necessary, along with a more rational layout of the Homunculus Alchemy Muscle Fibers, to enable the Alchemical Golems to perform technical actions with precision.
Chui Chui’s suggestion to order skeletons and skin from the real world and insert the internal alchemical equipnt into them seed like a viable plan.
But her suggestion to get these things from a doll factory... isn’t that a bit sleazy?
Then again, co to think of it... apart from such doll factories, who else would bother producing so many human-like skeletons and realistic silicone skins?
It seems we’ll have to go the sleazy route after all.
Yan Xing returned to the real world again and found a doll manufacturer online. He transmitted the standard paraters—calculated by Chui Chui—for the human-like skeletons, realistic silicone skins, and the required stuffing, placing an initial order for ten sets.
The doll rchant was puzzled by Yan Xing’s request to purchase these components separately and kindly asked, "Are you sure you don’t want the functional parts? Our products are made from real-body molds and co with built-in lubrication and wriggling features..."
"No!" Yan Xing refused decisively.
He still had no idea what these assembled Low-level Alchemical Golems would even look like.
If he added functional parts, I’m afraid I might scare myself into developing a functional disorder.
Yan Xing repeatedly stressed that they shouldn’t add any unnecessary extras.
"Just make what I asked for, and ship it out as soon as it’s done."
"Understood, boss. We’ll ship your order imdiately." Those in this line of work had seen all kinds of custors. The key was not to ask too many questions, to provide whatever was requested—after all, a pleasant deanor was good for business.
The factory shipped the goods very quickly; after all, these items were mostly pre-existing stock. A slight modification based on the custor’s request, and the sale was made.
Thus, just as Yan Xing, under Chui Chui’s guidance, finished constructing a weak electrical signal to analog signal converter, the batch of semi-finished doll components arrived.
Yan Xing received the delivery and returned to the Alchemy Laboratory.
He opened one of the packages and moved the Homunculus tal Skeleton to the alchemy workbench. The next step was to sequentially install the internal alchemical devices, previously dismantled from the original stone golems, onto the Homunculus tal Skeleton. Then, he used the concurrently ordered stuffing to secure and protect these alchemical devices. This was followed by laying out the Homunculus Alchemy Muscle Fibers, then adding more stuffing. Finally, he fitted the realistic silicone skin.
It sounded simple, but Yan Xing toiled for an entire day in the Alchemy Laboratory to assemble the first Homunculus Alchemical Golem. Its appearance, however... was indescribable.
The realistic silicone skin Yan Xing had purchased was top-notch, and the manufacturer specialized in doll-making. Therefore, the Homunculus Alchemical Golem should have resembled a beautiful woman. However, due to Yan Xing’s abysmal craftsmanship, the stuffing was uneven, and the eyes weren’t positioned correctly. As a result, the assembled Homunculus Golem looked more like a prop from a horror film. Working alone in the Alchemy Laboratory, Yan Xing was scared into a cold sweat by his own creation.
It was especially terrifying as it lay on the table, twitching intermittently.
But, being the only part-ti Mage in the Eternal Domain, there was no one else who could do this kind of work. Yan Xing could only steel his nerves, dress the assembled humanoid beauty golem, and then lift it into a sitting position.
He opened the back of its skull and installed the connected Spiritual Sphere and smartphone inside. Seeing the Spiritual Sphere begin to glow faintly as it received magic energy, Yan Xing asked Chui Chui, "How is it now? Can it connect to the signal?"
Chui Chui connected to the Eternal Domain’s newly established information and communication network and searched for the smartphone’s signal.
After a mont, the beautiful alchemical golem’s right arm lifted slightly.
Chui Chui responded to Yan Xing, "There are still so compatibility issues, and the response delay is too high. However, it does prove that the weak electrical signal to magic energy signal converter we built is largely correct.
"We still need to modify the internal magic arrays and the layout of the magic circuits to make the signal conversion more accurate and fluid.
"Master, you can take out the Spiritual Sphere and smartphone now. We need to modify them further."
As Chui Chui spoke, she tapped away at her workbench keyboard, rewriting the smartphone’s program and optimizing the alchemical structure of the weak electrical signal to magic energy signal converter.
What Yan Xing and Chui Chui were doing was currently the most critical task for the Eternal Domain. The first Homunculus Alchemical Golem could only be personally assembled by Yan Xing.
If internal war broke out in the Thunderous Swamp, Yan Xing would need to lead the Peacekeeping Forces deep into the swamp to carry out strategic missions. In that case, the modification of the Homunculus Alchemical Golems would have to be halted. He would only be able to resu their production after achieving his strategic objectives and returning from the depths of the Thunderous Swamp to the Eternal Domain.
The amount of ti lost in between would be far too great.
The developnt of the Eternal Domain could not afford such delays.
