Chen Cheng suddenly realized, Cao Yue was paving the way for him again.
"But from what I know about Wen Shulin, if she’s sided out of this deal, she might not agree."
Cao Yue burst into laughter, "You want to bring her in?"
"As long as the money is enough, it’s fine," Chen Cheng smiled gently, "As for love, it takes ti to repay."
"You’re really the only businessman I’ve ever seen who doesn’t chase after profits." Cao Yue sighed, then changed the topic,

Chen Cheng nodded, "Alright, I’ll reach out to her tonight."

ng Wanning ca to Chen Cheng’s side, holding a basket of strawberries, "Master, try so, I just picked them and washed them."
She picked up one and brought it to Chen Cheng’s mouth; he took a bite, "Mmm, quite sweet."
ng Wanning’s eyebrows curved into a smile, "Why don’t you have another one."
"No, that’s enough."
Cao Yue and Chu Qin saw the affectionate interaction between the two and exchanged a teasing smile, their eyes full of jest.
Chu Qin patted Cao Yue’s arm, playfully saying, "Look at Xiao Chen and Wan Ning, so sweet, unlike us old married couple, we’re not nearly as entwined."
Cao Yue laughed heartily and hugged Chu Qin’s shoulder, saying, "We were young once too; back then, I wasn’t any worse at treating you than Xiao Chen is to Wan Ning."
ng Wanning blushed a bit, lowered her head, and continued arranging the strawberries in the basket.
Chen Cheng cleared his throat, shifting the topic, "By the way, Brother Cao, Sister, are you planning to return tomorrow from Taigong Fishing Fun?"
Cao Yue nodded, "After returning to Beijing, I haven’t spent much ti with Xiao Qin, and since it’s the weekend, I plan to stay the night."
"What about you? Any plans?" Chu Qin asked.
"I’m fine either way." Chen Cheng glanced at ng Wanning, "How about you?"
"I follow Master."
"Then you two can stay in the tent next door tonight." Chu Qin said with a smile, "Xiao ng has been working hard lately and has practiced many tis, so she should relax a bit."

As soon as he spoke, Chen Cheng’s fishing rod suddenly sank, the tip almost bent into a semicircle.
"Oh! A fish is on!" Chu Qin shouted excitedly.
Chen Cheng didn’t dare to be negligent, grasped the fishing rod tightly with both hands, feeling the trendous pull from underwater.
