Two agile Arrow-haired Hounds circled the boar like lightning, waiting for the right mont to strike.
They sotis lunged from the side to bite the boar’s flank, and sotis quickly retreated to dodge the boar’s tusks.
The larger-sized Eastern Sichuan Hunting Dogs faced the wild boar head-on, growling, baring their sharp teeth, and repeatedly pouncing at the boar’s head and neck.
Although the wild boar’s tusks were sharp, they couldn’t unleash their true power under the flexible dodging and tenacious attacks of the Eastern Sichuan Hunting Dogs.
A few small hunting dogs, like the Taicang Small Hunting Dog and Dachshund, although smaller in size, were also fearless.
They weaved between the larger hunting dogs, searching for the wild boar’s weak spots.
Their targets were the boar’s abdon and lower belly, where the skin and flesh were relatively weak and easier to penetrate with their sharp teeth.
The most spectacular scene belonged to an Arrow-haired Hound. Seizing the mont, it leaped high and bit the boar’s ear.
The wild boar cried out in pain, letting out a mournful howl, and lost its balance, crashing heavily to the ground.
The well-trained hunting dogs sward over, biting the neck and grabbing the limbs, for more than half an hour, until the wild boar was utterly exhausted.
The staff, sensing the right ti, approached with sticks.
On one hand, they needed to ensure the beast was thoroughly subdued to prevent any harmful struggles; on the other hand, they wanted to avoid accidental injuries to the hunting dogs.
At this mont, the entire forest seed to have fallen into a brief silence following this intense hunt, with only the heavy panting of the wild boar and the low growls of the hunting dogs intertwining.
With the final low howl, the wild boar finally stopped breathing.
In no ti, the staff carried the wild boar away, and upon close inspection, there was already a deep cut on its neck.
"Wow, it’s not often you see a wild boar this big!" Director Zhang’s eyes were alight, "Today was truly a worthwhile trip."
