Chapter 82: Chapter 82: The Ancestral Talisman Paper

“From now on, you take this and keep chanting Shuaishuai’s na in your heart. Then head out—follow the guidance of the Talisman Paper, and follow your heart’s direction,” Jiangli said.

Liu Rongrong took the tiger stuffed animal and asked with trepidation, “Abbot… will this really work?”

Jiangli stood up. “There’s no harm in trying.”

Liu Rongrong pursed her lips, looking at the tiger stuffed animal in her hands, as if she were looking at Shuaishuai.

Forget it, for Shuaishuai, whatever the thod, she had to try.

With that thought, Liu Rongrong stood up, holding the tiger stuffed animal, chanting her child’s na silently, and walked outside.

Xu Yang hurried to follow her.

Seeing this, Xia Xin quickly asked, “Ancestor, what shall we do?”

“What else can we do, follow them,” Jiangli glanced at him and stepped forward to keep up.

Xia Xin picked up Shuaishuai and hurried after them, but after taking just a few steps, he rembered sothing, “But, Ancestor, can Shuaishuai go outside?”

Hearing this, Jiangli glanced at the umbrella behind the door, took out a Talisman, and affixed it to the umbrella, saying, “Just hold the umbrella and you’ll be fine.”

Xia Xin uttered an acknowledgnt, opening the umbrella with one hand and holding Shuaishuai with the other, and then walked outside.

Perhaps because the umbrella had been modified by Jiangli, once outside, Xia Xin nervously checked Shuaishuai, only to find that Shuaishuai showed no signs of distress.

The venomous sunlight outside seed to do him no harm.

Only then did Xia Xin relax.

The group left Jiaoyang Temple together.

No sooner had they left Jiaoyang Temple than Liu Rongrong had an idea pop into her head, and she almost uncontrollably turned left.

Xu Yang followed her nervously.

Jiangli and Xia Xin closed the doors to Jiaoyang Temple and followed at the rear.

Shortly after they had left, under Liu Rongrong’s lead, the group boarded a car.

Once in the car, Liu Rongrong subconsciously gave an address, “Master, to Jinxin Building on Southwest Road.”

“Jinxin Building? Isn’t that building still under construction?” the driver asked casually as he started the car, “Why do you want to go there?”

“We have so business to take care of,” Xia Xin replied to the driver with a smile, vaguely.

The driver was not the nosy type and did not pursue the matter further.

The car drove towards Southwest Road.

“Rongrong, why are we going to Southwest Road?” Xu Yang, seated in the front passenger seat, couldn’t help but ask as he turned to look back at Liu Rongrong, driven by curiosity.

Liu Rongrong kept a straight face, “I don’t know either, the little tiger told …” she hugged the little tiger stuffed animal tightly, as if clutching at her own child.

Why she had said to go to Southwest Road earlier, she didn’t know either; it had just co out subconsciously.

It must have been Shuaishuai telling her.

Hearing this, Xu Yang felt puzzled and still sowhat doubtful. Was this little tiger stuffed animal, which had been rely modified by Jiangli, really that effective?

But now that they were already out, pondering too much was useless, so he did not ask any further questions.

At that mont, however, Jiangli asked, “Do you all know about Jinxin Building?”

“If you’re asking about that, Miss, I’m the one to ask, I know about it,” the driver said with a chuckle.

Southwest Road was in the Nancheng District, with Jiaoyang Temple being in the Nancheng District.

The two locations were quite far apart.

The west side of the city, originally an old district, has been bought out by developers at a high price who plan to turn it into a comrcial street and a residential area.

Among the most famous buildings is Jinxin Building, which has yet to be completed, however.

It is said that at the beginning of its construction, it was in line with governnt planning, but now it seems to be making no progress.

The surrounding residential areas have all ceased construction.

But the construction of Jinxin Building is continuing.
