Chapter 524: Chapter 524: The Ancestor Says to Believe in Science Chapter 524: Chapter 524: The Ancestor Says to Believe in Science Xia Xin announced the drawn slots, and instantly people in the forum were either joyous or dismayed.

Xia Xin had no ti to reply to them, as private ssages began to chi in.

The selected people had begun contacting Xia Xin.

Xia Xin checked the first person’s private ssage, in chronological order.

This person didn’t wait for Xia Xin to speak and sent over a flood of ssages.

Having read everything, Xia Xin concluded, “Old Ancestor, he wants you to look at the Feng Shui of his place.”

“Feng Shui?” Jiangli asked in confusion, “I’m not at his place, how can I check his Feng Shui? What exactly did he say?”

Xia Xin replied according to the ssage content, “He said he moved to a new house a year ago, and after the move, he’s been unwell, ending up in the hospital every now and then.”

The person claid to have learned about Jiangli from Yun Xizi’s post, and knew that Jiangli’s fortune-telling was extrely accurate.

He believed that a master who was so spot-on with predictions would surely know a bit about Feng Shui.

So, he wanted to consult with Jiangli.

He had been waiting for a long ti before getting picked.

Since he moved, he constantly fell ill and often t with misfortune, like getting drenched by passing cars while waiting at a bus stop.

Or unexpectedly tripping over while walking.

His illness got more severe lately, leading to kidney disease, which kept him hospitalized for a long ti before being able to move back ho.

After learning about Jiangli, he beca more convinced that either he had encountered so malevolent entity claiming lives, or there was sothing wrong with the Feng Shui at ho, and he wanted Jiangli to check it out.

To be more accurate, he even sent over the floor plan of his ho and his Eight Characters of Birth.

He pleaded with Jiangli to determine the exact nature of the problem.

Xia Xin showed Jiangli the pictures and the Eight Characters of Birth.

Jiangli said, “There’s no need to look at it, it’s not an issue with the house’s Feng Shui.”

Xia Xin, holding his phone, paused and questioned, “Why not?”

Jiangli looked at him, “Hasn’t the old Taoist told you? Feng Shui has both internal and external factors. The internal relates to the layout within the ho, and the external to the surrounding environnt and structures. Internal Feng Shui issues might at most bring so bad luck or affect financial fortune, it’s unlikely to cause serious injury or illness. If it truly were Feng Shui, he should consider external influences, such as any particular structures near his ho, understand?”

Xia Xin had a mont of realization, “So there’s more to it…” he muttered, “I’ve said before, most comrcial housing is pretty standard nowadays, there’s hardly a big difference in Feng Shui, yet people still hire experts to check it.”

Jiangli raised an eyebrow, “Your masters here even make money off of that part?”

Xia Xin nodded, “Yeah, nowadays many people like to have soone evaluate their ho’s Feng Shui.”

Jiangli smirked, “If there really is a problem with the internal Feng Shui, it’s easily fixable by rearranging so plants or furnishings, and it should also match the hoowner’s birth chart. Major impact usually cos from external factors.”

Xia Xin sort of understood, “So his issue could be due to external factors?”

Jiangli paused for a second and asked, “What’s his birth chart saying?”

Xia Xin imdiately recited the Eight Characters of Birth.

Upon hearing this, Jiangli calculated for a mont and said, “Tell him to seek proper dical treatnt. His destiny inclines him to be frail and sickly, and these years are particularly unfavorable, affecting his health. However, his fortune will turn for the better in middle age. In a couple of years, once his health improves, his luck will too. It has nothing to do with his residence.”

Xia Xin hadn’t even responded when

Jiangli added, “It’s truly strange with you modern people. If you’re ill, seek dical treatnt. Aren’t you modern? Why are you so obsessed with feudal superstition?”

Xia Xin: “…”

Old Ancestor, are we, the ones involved in this business, really the ones to say such things?
