Damon’s POV

In the anti, both Silas and Shine had fallen asleep. The four of us brothers were still awake, talking. When I called Theron this morning, I found out they also encountered two soldiers who wanted the kid.

Kael beat the shit out of them, but even then, those two soldiers pulled out their guns and were about to shoot them. Just then, the military arrived and rescued them.

I leaned back on my seat and glanced at Kael. His behavior toward Silas was getting rude, and I needed to tell him that what he was doing was wrong.

"Kael, why do you hate Silas so much?"

As I asked, Kael glanced at , clearly not expecting the question. I didn’t want to bring it up, but his behavior was getting ruder by the day. And it’s not like Silas is our enemy or sothing.

"Why are you even asking? It’s simple. I despise him because he’s trying to break our bond."

"Why do you think he’s breaking our bond? He’s not doing anything like that."

"You can’t see it, but I can. He’s trying to seduce all of you. And then what will happen? We brothers will fight each other over him. So, isn’t he the one we should bla?"

"Of course not! Why would we fight over him? Are you out of your mind, Kael? I think you really need to change your behavior. Your temper is getting worse day by day."

"Brother Damon, I don’t want to talk to you right now."

I knew it. Even if I tried to teach Kael sothing, I wouldn’t be able to. I’ve spoiled my little brothers too much, and I don’t think I could scold them or get truly angry at them.

As the eldest, I’ve always been the adult—the father figure. Because Father once told that I’m the elder brother and the next king of the pack, I should behave like one. I shouldn’t let my anger create conflict that could break our brotherly bond.

I don’t show rcy to outsiders; if they do sothing wrong, I won’t hold back from scolding or getting angry at them. But this is different. Siblings need to fight—it used to be normal. But now that we’re adults, there’s no need for pointless fighting. I think I’ll leave this matter to Theron.

He’s always been good at teaching. In childhood, he taught both Lysander and Kael basic manners—like good touch and bad touch and not to bully any oga. When Father and Mother tried to teach them, they couldn’t understand, but Theron made it clear to them. I can’t imagine him being serious unless it’s about a fight—then he’s dead serious.

I don’t know how he taught them in childhood because I wasn’t in the pack for a few months at that ti. When I returned, I found out they had learned, but when I asked Theron how he did it, he told to beco his student if I wanted to know.

I glanced at Theron, who was playing with the kid. I don’t understand how they can play with a kid. I really hate kids; I don’t like them. Even if people call weird, I don’t care because this is just how I am.

When Theron noticed looking, he quickly understood. He handed the kid to Lysander and clasped his hands on his thighs, looking at Kael with a gentle smile.

"Kael, what did I teach you in childhood? Do you still rember?"

When Theron asked, Kael’s attention shifted to him, and he looked ahead.

"What did you teach ?" Kael looked up, trying to recall what Theron had taught him.

"So you don’t rember. That’s why you’re behaving like this. Is this how I taught you? What if soone else saw this behavior of yours? What would they say? That this is how your parents taught you? Do you want people to speak ill of our parents?"

"Of course not, bro."

"Then can you share with why you hate Silas so much?" Theron’s voice was calm and steady.

"See? You’re also getting angry at now, right? Because of Silas. Why do you like him so much that you’d even scold your own brother for that outsider?"

That’s what Kael had said to before, and I didn’t have an answer. I wasn’t even scolding him—I just wanted to talk. I was also angry at Silas when he slapped him.

"You know, because you were all scolding , that outsider even dared to slap ."

"Kael, did I shout just now?"

"No."

"Did I scold you? I was just trying to talk to you, wasn’t I? I know everyone is different, even siblings. But still..."

Theron paused for a mont before continuing.

"I want you to be mature. You’re not a child anymore. Whatever mistake you make, we won’t always cover for you. The way you kick him, the way you talk to Silas—it’s wrong. Do you think a gentleman Alpha would do that?"

"See? You’re taking his side again!"

"Kael, I’m not taking anyone’s side. So listen carefully, and don’t speak until I tell you to."

Theron’s voice suddenly beca cold. He always spoke gently to us—his brothers. Even to Kael, Lysander, and . But now, he was serious. It felt like he was in teacher mode.

"You can do whatever you want, but I want you to rember one thing: your actions will tarnish your own reputation. I don’t want people to call my brother a mad dog. You know, so people online have already started calling you crazy because of your temper."

"I should’ve told you this earlier, so it wouldn’t have reached this point. From now on, when we return, you’re not allowed to leave the mansion for the next month—until you realize what you did wrong."

"And if you dare disobey , be prepared for the consequences."

"How can you do this to , brother?"

Well, this was necessary. Theron did well by punishing Kael. Now he’ll learn sothing.

"Kael, how would you feel if soone treated Orian the way you treated Silas? You care about Orian so much, right? So tell , how would you feel?"

"Of course, I’d get angry and beat that Alpha."

"See? That ans you understand that your behavior is wrong. And you’re acting like Silas has no one to stand up for him, which is why you’re bullying him."

"No, bro, I didn’t think that far. It’s just... he gets on my nerves, and I lost my temper around him."
