"Good boy," Azula whispered, running her fingers down Aldric’s chest. "Now, show just how devoted you can be. Release ."
Aldric moved toward her chains, his hands reaching for the key he had pulled from his pocket. But as he began to unlock them, his eyes flickered between dull obedience and fierce recognition, his mind battling to reclaim his will from her command.
Azula, sensing her power over him weakening, lunged for the keys, but Aldric was quicker. His eyes blazed with realization and fury. "You bitch! You’re a fucking succubus!" he snarled.
Rage coursed through Aldric. His grip tightened around her neck, pinning her to the bed with such force that the bedfra creaked. Azula thrashed beneath him, clawing at his arms, but he was unyielding, his face contorted with a mix of betrayal and anger.
Fearful that he would truly kill her, Azula stopped struggling. Her deanor shifted, and she pleaded in Islinda’s pitiful voice, "Don’t kill , Aldric. Please, I’m sorry."
Aldric froze. The sight of Islinda’s face, even possessed by a demon, made his resolve falter. His grip slackened, the realization that he couldn’t murder his mate searing his conscience. He jerked away from her, recoiling as if he had been burned.
The mont his hand left her throat, Azula’s face twisted into a mocking grin. She laughed, a sound dripping with malice and triumph, relishing in his tornt.
"The hell," Azula laughed mockingly at him." You are really in love with her. " Her expression suddenly turned stern," Yet, you treated her like crap. "
Aldric growled at her." Shut up! You know nothing about us!"
"Oh. I know plenty." Azula chuckled, leaning back against the bed knowing she was in control of this conversation, "I know you love fucking her." Azula purred, now grabbing and kneading her breast.
At once, Aldric looked away, having learned his lesson the hard way. He didn’t much about Succubus demons, but it was common knowledge they were creatures of lust, deriving their powers from it. But what he couldn’t understand was what this one was doing inside Islinda’s body.
"Where is Islinda? What did you do with her?" Aldric’s jaw tightened, his fists clenching at his sides. Here he was trapped in a pathetic battle with a creature who knew exactly how to exploit his very weakness. One who possessed his very weakness.
"She’s dead."
"Liar."
Azula shrugged, "Believe whatever you want."
Aldric’s patience snapped as Azula’s mocking laughter filled the room. His fury intensified with her nonchalance towards his demand. He stord over to the bed, his voice a nacing growl, "Where is she?!"
Azula, still sprawled provocatively on the bed, looked up at him with a smirk. "You really think you scare , Aldric? You’re pathetic."
"I will kill you if I have to," Aldric threatened, his hands trembling with restrained rage.
Azula chuckled, her eyes glittering with cruel amusent. "You’re a liar. You wouldn’t dare harm your precious Islinda. You’re too weak."
Aldric’s hands itched to strangle the life out of her, but he knew she was right. Killing her ant killing Islinda too. Desperation etched on his face, he decided to take another approach. Closing his eyes, he tried to delve into Azula’s mind, to rip the truth out from her.
But nothing happened.
Aldric’s eyes snapped open, shock and confusion evident. He couldn’t penetrate her mind. Azula’s laughter grew louder, more triumphant. She sat up, the chains rattling, and leaned forward with a predatory grin.
"Surprised?" she taunted, her voice dripping with malice. "I know all your tricks, dark Fae scum. You can’t get inside my head. I’m not so weak-willed mortal like your Islinda. I’ve sealed my mind against you, darling."
Aldric’s face twisted with frustration. He had underestimated her. His powers, which usually gave him the upper hand, were now useless against the succubus’s defenses.
"And oh, you’re right. Islinda is not dead. She is simply stuck in here sowhere. The sa place I made my ho for years," Azula said, tapping her temple, "but good luck finding her, dark Fae scum. She’s buried deep, and as long as I’m in control, you’ll never reach her."
Aldric’s fists clenched at his sides, his body trembling with a mix of rage and helplessness. He realized that brute force and his usual thods wouldn’t work against Azula. He needed a different plan, sothing that would outsmart the demon and save his mate.
"What do you want? Just say it, I’ll give it to you. Just demand it, but not Islinda. Let her go," He added, "Please." Aldric begged desperately. Sothing that he was not used to.
"This is so cute and romantic." Azula dabbed dramatically at her eyes, wiping the fake tears. "I am honestly tempted to let Islinda go. I an, what the gods put together, I shouldn’t really put apart. But what to do? I hate love stories." She finished with an unkind smile.
Aldric’s face fell.
"You’re not going to win," He spat, his anger returning. He had tried eveything possible but the demon was not open for negotiation. "I’ll find a way to bring Islinda back, no matter what it takes."
Azula leaned back, her gaze mocking. "Good luck with that. anwhile, you’re stuck with for as long as you can keep hostage. Better get used to it."
Aldric let out a frustrated groan. He was so stressed he wanted to pull out his hair at this point. The gods had gifted Islinda to him as a mate and he had thought for once, they were doing sothing right for him. But he shouldn’t have trusted those assholes would give him a free gift with no strings attached.
"So what’s next?" Azula asked him, bored.
"What?"
"What’s your next plan of action? Usually, the next course of action for your kind is to lock up and then try to get pregnant. In so cases, try to rape as well. So just a bit of advice, just because my kind loves sex doesn’t an you should force yourself on . All you just have to do is ask nicely, and I’ll..." She was just about to open her legs again when Aldric turned away with a horrified expression.
"By the gods, don’t!"
Azula smiled. "So how would you torture then?"
Aldric was just about to answer when an explosion rocked his castle and his face turned cold. They were here.
