Mary pov

I stared at Jaxon as he drove off in his car. I could not believe it! He did not even seem to look like soone who was even a little bit worried; that was just so absurd.

I decided just to stay silent to make things easier. After all, I have not been able to talk to Jaxon or Aria, excepting nothing.

From the looks of it, I don’t think I would always be able to believe Timothy’s words, so I sat silently going through my phone even though there was nothing important I was checking.

I just continue to scroll through it so that the passengers do not see as a maniac. One thing led to another, and I was soon going through my and Aria’s chart, making emotional again.

As I went through the chats that were shared between us. I couldn’t help but feel like I missed Aria so much, and truly, I did. I just wanted to see her more than anything now.

The only thing keeping from seeing the one best person in my life was this stupid traffic, and I couldn’t wait for it to be over yet.

It took two to three hours before we got to the hospital due to how far it was, and the traffic was too hectic due to the weather.

When I got to the hospital, it was already raining badly, but that did not stop from running so fast into the hospital room. That’s all I needed to do was see Aria when I got to the hospital; I ran straight to the nurse, who was at the deck, going through so files. I knew she was the only one who would tell what to do.

I imdiately told her that I needed to see my friend Aria, who was here due to so dical issues. She went through her docunts for so minutes, and afterward, she smiled at but beca sad again.

I beca a bit worried as I wondered what the problem could have been and why it did not seem that way. She paced a bit closer to .

"Are you sure this friend of yours is only here due to little dical problems?" She muttered to , making so scared. I could feel my heart shaking in my chest.

"Can you tell if anything is wrong in any way?" I told the woman, a bit scared;

"you should have been here sooner. She is in the operating room, and I think she will soon be out, so you have to wait for her." The nurse said to , sadly,

"what do you an by she is in the operating room? she is perfectly fine and cannot be in the operating room."

The nurse muttered she was in the operating room, and that was because she had such a serious injury.

"You would not even believe it, so you have to wait till it is over, and then you can go and see her, but I don’t think she would be awake anyti soon." The nurse replied to as she continued what she was doing.

I felt so much pity for Aria. I thought it was just minor injuries like Maya’s, but why am I hearing she is in the ergency room?

I sat quietly beside one lady who seed to be on the call and saw so other things as she was crying her eyes out. I also felt like crying each ti. I recall that Aria was also in a serious ergency problem. I checked the ti, and it was now one hour past the ti.

Suddenly, as I sat there, I rembered seeing Jaxon’s car. I wasted no ti rushing back outside to confirm my fears, only to see it was truly Jaxon’s car there.

I covered my mouth in shock. Does that an Jaxon was here just as I returned to the hospital room? The nurse who had told about Aria’s ergency was searching for . When she saw , she walked towards ,

"You can go see her now she has been transferred to her ward number room 512", the nurse said as I smiled gratefully at before, but due to how big the hospital was, it was a bit difficult to find room 512, which I eventually found.

I stood in front of the door, shaking with fright; what if she had woken up and would hate for not coming to check on her?

My hand began to shake as I placed it on the doorknob. I decided not just to walk in but instead knock for privacy, but I got no response until I opened the door to see Jaxon sitting beside Aria and staring at the door, which was staring at .

"Mary, why are you here," Jaxon said to . I couldn’t believe that was what he would say to .

"Do not speak to !! I can’t believe you hid all this from , are you forgetting this fact that I am her best friend and I was ant to be aware of all this!! Is this even right and you hid her!!" I yelled at him

"Sothing this disastrous and horrible happened to her and you didn’t even share it with . Do you even know how hard it was to get here and now I am seeing her getting her breath of life on a life machine." I said to him

"I am so sorry but I just got too choked up taking care of her and totally forgot about the fact that you weren’t here with her." He lied,

"You and Timothy are just one of the worst friends ever, I just can’t believe you would keep her from ." I continued being very angry with Jaxon as I couldn’t even believe this.

"Sothing like this was done to her and you couldn’t report maya to the police! I can’t believe you guys are doing sothing this bad to her." I muttered.

"Don’t say that!! When I got the news and ca here I pleaded with Aria to please let report it but she claid it would make things really worst fir her in school as all she wanted was to be like a ghost in the school till graduates and after much pleading I accepted and took care of her." He tried to explain to hoping I would understand but instead all the tears I tried holding in ca piring out..

"I thought you two loved her?How else am I ant to believe that if sothing like this happened to her and you guys couldn’t do anything about it."I said just so he could feel guilty. That was a secret I wasn’t going to keep anymore.
