"Xian Ge!" Hyson yelled. "I'm gonna get a headache at this rate."
Shui Xian finally let him go, "I thought I should help you in wiping your hair."
Hyson pulled off the towel from his head and stared at him, "Oh, thank you for your thoughtfulness but let's not be this thoughtful next ti. Okay?"
"I will try my best."
Instead of leaving, Hyson sat back down on the wooden deck and pulled Shui Xian down too.
"Aren't you going to change your clothes?"
"I'll do it later. I'm having such a lazy but relaxing morning. I don't wanna cut it short."
"I have the sa idea," said Shui Xian.
"Weimin Ge is so boring."
Shui Xian smiled in response when he heard that. "Maybe it's the generation gap."
"I also think so," said Hyson. "There are seven or eight years between us. For sure, there is a big generation gap. Ironically, I never even felt it with my godmother."
"But you feel it with your mom."
"That's different."
"Okay," responded Shui Xian. He put his hands behind him and leaned back with his weight on his hands as he said, "It's so..."
"Peaceful here," Hyson completed his sentence.
"It's also very..."
"Silent."
"I feel like..."
"Drifting with the wind."
Shui Xian stared at him, "Can you stop completing my sentences for ?"
"I can't help it," replied Hyson.
Shui Xian shook his head and said, "It reminds of the ti when..."
"We went to that temple."
Shui Xian looked helpless as he continued, "It's like no one..."
"Lives here."
"Fai!"
"Yes!"
"Stop it!"
"Oh." Thinking of sothing, he perked up again and said, "Ge, there is grape trellis in my yard. It's beautiful."
"Why are you telling that?"
"Just felt like sharing."
"Eh?"
Hyson looked into his eyes, "Ge, haven't you realized it yet?"
"What?"
"That you seem to be the only person who doesn't mind responding to my useless talking too. Others mostly just hear my nonsense. You always not only listen but you also respond to it. So, I just love talking to you."
Shui Xian had a helpless smile on his face. He was not expecting this response.
"Then have you thought about your future?" asked Shui Xian thinking about what Hyson said last night. He wondered what were his plans now.
"I was very busy last night. I didn't have ti to think about future," said Hyson.
"What were you busy with? Sleeping?"
Hyson cleared his throat, "Ge, I was busy dreaming. You realize how important dreams are?"
Shui Xian shook his head, "Forget it. I don't wanna hear how important dreams are. However, once you decide sothing, let know. I'm here to listen."
"Of course, I know that," responded Hyson. "Ge, I heard there is a waterfall in the mountains."
"So?"
"Let's go hiking," suggested Hyson.
"I was planning on camping," told Shui Xian and Hyson got excited. "Really? That's even better. We can go camping and catch fishes to grill. I'll help you dig wild vegetables too. Oh, it'll be difficult to find mushrooms. Anyway, if we find it, I'll help you recognize all the edible wild vegetables and mushrooms."
"Oh, our Fai is so knowledgeable!"
"Of course, I am," Hyson looked proud. "My knowledge doesn't co from books. I am not like Raelle who has no useful knowledge in her brain. I'm a practical person. So, I have all the survival skills."
Shui Xian laughed at that, "You really don't have to bring down my wife while showing off your own skills." He found it really funny and told him, "But there is no point in planning. You'll have to first convince Raelle for the camping."
"I have to do that?" asked Hyson. "Isn't it better if you do this?"
Shui Xian patted his shoulder in encouragent, "I'm leaving this difficult task to you, my brave soldier!"
"Fine! I'll get it done!"
Shui Xian looked at his face and said, "How about we go to your village? The place where you grew up."
"How about a no?"
Shui Xian sighed, "Why are you reacting like ? Is it that difficult to show us the place where you spent your childhood?"
"It's not difficult. I just hate that place very much. My fear of ghosts cos from that place. A lot of my fears co from that place. A lot of my hatred also cos from that place."
"A lot of your scars too," added Shui Xian.
Hyson went silent for a mont and then laughed it off, "See? This is why I don't like even talking about that place. It takes away my smile."
Shui Xian pursed his lips and wanted to say sothing but suddenly he felt sothing wet on his face. He touched his face and looked towards the sky. Within a minute, the sky started pouring down.
"Damn! The sumr sky is really like the face of a baby. It can change anyti without even a warning," comnted Hyson as he rushed under the shade to hide from the rain.
"How do you know how babies change their face? Do you even have experience?"
"That's a famous saying between farrs, Ge! Besides, you don't need experience to know about this kind of things."
Shui Xian suddenly paused and then his eyes widened as he ran away.
"Ge, where are you going in the rain?"
"My wife is out there, I'm gonna bring an umbrella!" shouted Shui Xian while running away.
Hyson looked at his back and pursed his lips, "Sigh! People are leaving alone a lot lately. Oh, these people who just love their partners and forget friends. What a cruel world! Cruel world!"
He put his hands into his pockets and looked up at the pouring rain outside. He thought for a minute before shrugging and walking towards his yard without taking the umbrella with him. Anyway, he wasn't scared of getting wet or getting sick. He whistled and walked leisurely in the rain as if he was in no hurry at all.
