Early the next morning, Shui Xian stuck to his words and ran out from the back window to look outside. Even when Raelle asked him if he wanted to go on a run with her, he refused decisively.
Sitting down on the wooden deck, he rolled up his pants and dipped his feet into the cold but clear stream. He seed to be humming an unknown tune and looked way too happy and relaxed just staring at the view in front of him. "Xian Ge, what are you doing?" asked Hyson strangely while yawning.
"Nothing. I'm just relaxing," answered Shui Xian.
"You do look like you're having fun," said Hyson. "Why though?" He was very curious so he ran over and sat down beside Shui Xian. "Let's see if I am able to feel as happy and relaxed as you by just sitting here."
"Be my guest," said Shui Xian. "I think this is really a treasure land. I feel really good here."
"Is it nature or is there sothing else making you feel this way?" inquired Hyson.
"I don't know," responded Shui Xian. "Whatever it is, it's good." He closed his eyes and felt the breeze caressing his face slowly. There was the sound of various birds in his ears which seed like a lody to him.
Hyson stared at his state and was montarily stunned. "Why am I feeling so envious of you right now?" asked Hyson in a low voice.
"Envious of ?" Shui Xian opened his eyes and tilted his head towards Hyson. "Why?"
"You look too happy and relaxed. I am unable to understand it."
"Then I'm really sorry. I can't help you with that."
"I know you can't help ," said Hyson and yawned again.
"You didn't get a good sleep?"
"I did," replied Hyson. "In fact, I had an excellent sleep last night. It was so good that I didn't want to get up."
"Then why did you get up so soon?"
"I also don't know," answered Hyson.
"You didn't get scared all alone in your wing last night, did you?"
Hyson chuckled at that, "No, I didn't." He looked around before asking, "What about Ellie? Is she on her morning run?"
"Yes," answered Shui Xian. "Where else would she be at this ti?"
"Why didn't you follow her? That's odd."
"I wanted to sit here. I've been looking forward to sitting here since last night."
"Why?"
"I told you, I just felt good about this place. No other reason."
"Won't you like it even better if you had a cup of hot coffee in your hands right now?"
Shui Xian gave him a look, "Not a bad idea. Let call soone."
"Okay." Hyson saw him go inside to call soone while he followed his lead and also rolled his trousers and dipped his feet into the cold water making him shiver at first but slowly, he got used to it. He shook his leg playfully and then stopped as it ca to his mind, "Is this place haunted or what? Why am I suddenly in the sa mood as Xian Ge?"
Shui Xian walked slowly behind him and did, "Boo!"
"AHHH!" Hyson scread and fell down into the stream making Shui Xian laugh at his reaction.
Hyson patted his chest to calm himself down as he glared at Shui Xian, "This is not funny!"
"Sorry! I couldn't help it," said Shui Xian trying to suppress his laughter as he looked at Hyson sitting in the shallow water. Hyson took a deep breath and splashed water at Shui Xian without any rcy, "An apology won't cut it!"
Shui Xian tried to avoid his attack but he still got splashed and this made Hyson very happy.
"What are you two doing?"
Both of them stopped and looked at the new cor who happened to be Xiang Weimin. He was just coming back from his run when he heard the noise and the curiosity got the best of him and he ended up here. "Are you kids? What is even this?"
"Weimin Ge, you're old. We know already," said Hyson. "Let us be happy in our childishness."
Xiang Weimin looked at Shui Xian, "I can expect this from Fai but you? I thought you're very sober and mature."
"I am very mature when I have to be," replied Shui Xian. "But who stipulated that I can't be childish once in a while?" With that, he gave Hyson a signal with his eyes who imdiately caught it and smiled evilly. "It's early in the morning and you both are here playing around. I don't know why..." Before he could continue the lecture, his face was splashed with water.
Hyson and Shui Xian laughed out loud together.
"Weimin Ge, if you kept acting like this. Your son might end up disliking you in the future for being no fun."
Xiang Weimin wiped his face with his hand and said, "I'm worried about you more than my son."
"I'm such a worry-free person though," Hyson spread his hands.
Xiang Weimin scratched his brow and said, "Right. You're so worry-free that it's distressing."
Hyson chuckled in response.
"Xian, keep an eye on him. And you, Fai, co out of the water. Just because it's sumr do you think you won't get cold? Or are you waiting for your fish friends down there?"
Hyson gaped at him, "You're so nagging and you are being sarcastic too. Wow!"
"What else should I do when you give so much headache? Co out already and change your clothes before you get sick."
"I'm not that frail."
"I don't care," responded Xiang Weimin as he turned to leave. "You better change your clothes fast. If anything happened to you, Aunt Chenyan is gonna ask why I didn't take care of you better as the elder brother."
Hyson ca out of the water and suddenly his vision went dark as Shui Xian put a towel on his head. Before he could say anything, Shui Xian suddenly held his head through the towel and started rubbing vigorously making him dizzy.
