In the next two months, just as Old Li had warned, Feng Xue didn’t leave ho, not even to purchase various materials; he entrusted Huo Mu to handle that.
And while he stayed at ho, he wasn’t simply dazing off, but rather planning his next course of action.
Inevitably, the death of the Sea Monk had left a significant impact on him. Although he was the one who killed the Sea Monk, the terrifying nature of the instant death ability had indeed left a profound impression on him.
Therefore, during these two months, he continually contemplated instant death resistance, trying to devise a Kaidan that could provide him with such a resistance.
Speaking of countering instant death, there were three strategies—
Defense, resurrection, and the undying.

Yet, the issue was clear—using resurrection to counter instant death was a yielding of initiative. If the opponent’s instant death cooldown was shorter than one’s resurrection cooldown, it led to a never-ending cycle of resurrection, not to ntion the existence of abilities like sealing.
As for the undying, it was undoubtedly the best strategy, but also the hardest to achieve. The undying here could be interpreted from two perspectives—
Having died and not able to die.
Having died was like the zombies, ghouls, and vampires from traditional tales, beings that were already "dead," so an instant death ant nothing to them. Did you not see the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception requiring "as long as it’s alive"?
And not able to die didn’t refer to sothing like rapid regeneration or soul transfer, low-tier tricks, but rather ant "the nonexistence of the concept of death."
This was undoubtedly a challenging goal; in the myths of various cultures, only a few gods possessed such traits, making Feng Xue unsure of how to create such a Kaidan, making it an ultimatum of sorts.

"This way!"
"Why choose a place like this?" Feng Xue frowned slightly, to which Old Li chuckled:
"The blending of reality and illusion is the righteous path. This is the buyer for this ti, although nas and codes are fake, so no point in talking much. Let’s sign a examination agreent, then check the goods."
Old Li pulled out two agreents notarized by Infinite City, which essentially stated that only on-site identification and observation were allowed, without any appropriation or destruction.
After a quick review, Feng Xue signed it and then saw the set of inner armor Old Li had helped arrange, or rather...
Long underwear?
Though it felt disrespectful to say, in Feng Xue’s eyes, it looked just like a set of long underwear—not even thermal!
Of course, considering the lack of visible seams and openings on the pants, calling it training wear seed fitting.
