It seems the plan for Asgard Town gained both of their approval. Which made sense. If everything around them was unfamiliar, it would never feel like ho. But if they rebuilt Asgard Town themselves, that would bring enough familiarity. Especially since it would be built together with the remaining thirty or so people.
With that, Asgard would be fully settled on Earth. The Ten Realms had beco Nine, and the Nine Realms had now beco Eight. Why were there ten realms in the first place? Because there was once a tenth realm called Heven. But when the Queen of Heven angered Odin, he exiled her, and so the Ten Realms beca Nine. That, however, wasn’t the point.
After learning about Hela and her family, Thor and Loki stood up under her threatening gaze.
"If that’s the case, then we can rest assured."
"We’ll be going now. Goodbye."
Lorien nodded.
"Goodbye."
Hela didn’t say a word. She only frowned and gestured for them to leave quickly. Thor and Loki wasted no ti and hurried out.
When the elevator carried them downstairs—
"Phew~~~"
Both of them let out a long breath of relief. At first, everything had seed fine. But once they felt Lorien’s power, they both realized it far surpassed even their father’s. That mory of him snapping his fingers and sending them soaring through the universe was sothing they couldn’t forget.
Loki ran his fingers through his hair and muttered,
"What level is that?"
Thor spread his left hand and shook his head.
"We’ll probably never reach that in our lifeti. But the good news is, as long as we don’t ss up, he’ll always have our backs."
Loki nodded, then glanced at Thor.
"I have an idea. Listen to ."
"Hm?" Thor’s smile vanished. He looked at Loki seriously.
"You’d better not be plotting anything clever. Don’t bla if I turn against you."
Loki shook his head.
"I an... I want to be the mayor."
Thor’s mouth twitched.
"Fine, take it. I don’t want it."
And with that flippant decision, Loki finally achieved his lifelong dream. Not the King of Asgard—scratch that—but the Mayor of Asgard.
...
After Thor and Loki left, Hela imdiately dropped her gloomy expression. She turned her head with a grin.
"Galacta’s still waiting for . I’m going upstairs to play."
"Go ahead," Lorien waved.
Hela bolted upstairs, like soone rushing back from the bathroom to confirm a match before it tid out.
Lorien sighed and leaned back in his chair. Almost noon already. He’d been busy all morning.
Man, what a grind. Ten, eleven, twelve—three straight hours. Way too much. Ti to call it quits.
...
By noon, in the master bedroom, Gwen was the first to wake. The mont she opened her eyes, she realized she was hugging Wanda.
A blush crept onto her face as she tried to gently push Wanda away. But both of them were completely naked.
In the middle of a battle, it wouldn’t have mattered. Their minds would’ve been blank, too focused to notice. Even if they ended up tangled together, neither would have reacted. But now, awake, it was a different story.
Gwen only managed to nudge Wanda slightly. Still half-asleep, Wanda mistook it for Lorien trying to slip away. So she hugged even tighter.
"Sleep a little longer..."
But as soon as she did, she felt sothing off. The usual feel was solid muscle—sotis even that burning-hot "spear" pressed between her thighs. She’d even teased it before, deliberately.
But this ti... Soft? Smooth?
Wait!
Last night!
Wanda’s eyes snapped open. She locked eyes with Gwen—barely ten centiters apart.
They were wrapped around each other, both having mistaken the other for Lorien in their sleep.
For a mont, neither knew what to say.
Wanda thought for a second.
"Should we get dressed first?"
"Yeah." Gwen nodded.
So...
"Hey, don’t hog the blanket!"
"There’s only one, why shouldn’t I?"
"If you take it all, I’ll be exposed!"
"It’s not like we haven’t seen each other before..."
"Give it back!"
"I won’t!"
"Give it!"
Gwen used her strength. Wanda summoned the Twelve Talismans.
Rrrip—!
The blanket tore apart, scattering into fragnts like a failed lottery prize: Blanket · Shards.
"We’re screwed!"
Goose down filled the air. The two of them froze, staring at each other naked. No more embarrassnt now. They both knew exactly what this ant.
"This is bad!"
They scrambled to get dressed, then quickly began plotting damage control.
"What do we do?" Gwen asked once she was clothed.
"Let think..." Wanda muttered as she finished dressing. Then suddenly, an idea struck her. She turned to Gwen and said,
"Go cook dinner and bring it to Lorien. Pretend nothing happened."
"I’ll start learning reshaping magic right now to restore the blanket to its original state."
Gwen heard this.
"You already have two divine books. You don’t even know the spell to turn the blanket back?"
Wanda rolled her eyes.
"How could I possibly learn every single spell? Why would I specifically go learn a spell to repair a blanket?"
"This one even involves collecting all these feathers. I’ll have to modify the spell on the spot!"
Gwen nodded, half-convinced.
"Alright, I’ll go cook now."
...
At that mont, outside the door, Bella had heard the tearing sound. She stood in front of it and scanned with directional waves. She imdiately understood the situation inside.
As the master’s most loyal maid, secretary, and housekeeper, Bella’s choice was obvious.
"Report it!"
She hurried downstairs.
As soon as she left, Gwen opened the door and headed to the kitchen.
Facing Nora’s chatter, Gwen quickly said,
"Hurry up, Nora! Make your master a delicious lunch. He’s hungry now!"
"Really, mistress? Then I’ll pour all my love into it! I’ll make sure master eats his fill!"
...
In the bedroom, Wanda was still wondering if she could use magic to shift the bla. Maybe make it look like Gwen tore the blanket instead of her. But she quickly dismissed the thought.
Good sisters share blessings—and face trouble together.
So Wanda cast her spell. Slowly, the blanket began to restore itself.
...
Downstairs, Bella was already standing beside Lorien Su, having told him everything.
Lorien’s lips twitched when he heard.
"They tore the blanket just because they were fighting over it?"
Bella nodded to confirm.
Lorien thought for a mont.
"Was it on purpose, or an accident?"
"It was probably an accident," Bella replied. "They were very nervous at the ti."
"Nervous, huh? Good." Lorien nodded, a "cruel" smile tugging at his lips. "They tore the blanket just fighting over it."
"Will they do the sa with other things in the future?"
If they fight over sothing else later... what if they end up tearing that too?
This needed a lesson. He would find the right chance later.
...
Not long after, Gwen ca downstairs with the food, smiling. She pushed open the door.
"Ti for lunch, Lorien~"
Lorien looked at her carefully. She clearly wasn’t used to lying—her act felt a bit too forced. Normally, Gwen would push open the door full of energy, then softly call out, "Lunch is ready~." She wouldn’t suddenly act gentle, like Wanda.
As she set the food on the table, Lorien smiled.
"Aren’t you going to call Wanda?"
"Huh? Oh." Gwen froze, then quickly said, "Wanda said she’ll co later, so she told us to eat first."
Lorien snorted and nodded.
"What’s wrong with her? Why later?"
"Um..." Gwen scrambled for an excuse. She wasn’t used to lying, and after thinking for a long while, still had nothing.
Suddenly, she rembered Wanda’s little secret. Without thinking, she blurted out,
"Wanda’s in the bathroom... grooming. She told not to say anything—she wanted it to be a surprise."
Hmm.
Alright, I’ll make it happen for you both.
"Let’s eat first."
Lorien nodded and began eating with Gwen.
During the al, Gwen kept trying to drag out ti with small talk.
"By the way, Mom wants to take you ho for a family dinner when you’re free. Is that okay?"
"Sure." Lorien nodded. "How about this Saturday?"
"Great!" Gwen nodded excitedly. "I’ll be able to go to school soon. I can’t wait for college life."
Though what she really looked forward to was the freedom that ca after.
"You’ll experience it soon enough."
They kept eating. After a while, Lorien suddenly asked,
"Why isn’t Wanda here yet? Did she see your state and decide to... groom herself too?"
Gwen’s face turned bright red.
Of course, she didn’t have anything to groom—Lorien knew that well. Smooth, soft, maybe just the faintest peach fuzz.
But since she’d already made up the excuse, Gwen just nodded quickly.
"Yes!"
What a pair. No repentance at all.
You’re both finished later.
...
"Clap~"
The door opened, and Wanda walked in. She quickly sat at the table, ready to eat.
Lorien smiled when he saw her.
"Done?"
"Uh..." Wanda froze. She didn’t know what was supposed to be done. But when she saw Gwen wink at her, she imdiately nodded.
"Mm. Done."
Lorien smiled at the two of them.
So, teaming up to trick your husband?
You’ll pay for it tonight.
...
After dinner, Wanda used magic to send all the plates into the kitchen for Nora to clean. Lorien watched the two with a smile the entire ti.
Once they went upstairs, Gwen imdiately checked the blanket.
The good news: it was repaired.
The bad news: it looked brand new.
Gwen froze.
"It’s so new... Lorien’s definitely going to ask about it tonight. What do we do?"
"Just say we washed it clean," Wanda suggested.
"Are you sure that’ll work?" Gwen asked skeptically.
"Tonight, the two of us will distract Lorien. Even if he notices, we’ll push through together," Wanda said. "As long as we get through tonight, he won’t care tomorrow."
Gwen thought about it and nodded. It made sense.
But she hugged her arms nervously.
"I still feel like sothing bad’s going to happen."
Wanda looked at her.
"Your intuition?"
"Yes."
"That shouldn’t be possible, right?"
"I hope I’m wrong."
...
The afternoon passed uneventfully, slipping by quickly.
anwhile, Lorien was already thinking about what kind of fun he’d have that night.
"Eye masks are a must—one each."
"A soft whip? Forget it, that’s too much, not playing with that."
"Rope? That works. Just so simple restraint."
"Low-temperature candles? No, that’s too much too."
"What else is there?"
Lorien kept browsing online, absorbing ideas. Then he ca across tails. Not just keychains—plug-ins.
Hiss~~
"Alright, alright, a tail can work too."
After looking through everything for a long ti, he morized the designs and decided he’d just create his own. Still, he had picked out quite a lot.
Lorien glanced at the list with regret.
"There’s no way we’ll use all this in one go. They wouldn’t be able to handle it either. Forget it, let’s just start with two sets of eye masks and ropes."
Ding ding~~
His phone buzzed with a ssage.
He picked it up.
It was from Natasha.
[Natasha: Hawkeye was found to have hearing loss during his physical exam. Do you have any solutions?]
[Lorien Su: ? I’m a psychologist, not an otologist.]
[Natasha: True, but I just wanted to chat with you, so I had to find an excuse.]
Lorien glanced at the whip and low-temperature candles on the screen beside him. Maybe they weren’t so useless after all.
[Lorien Su: Don’t be ridiculous. If you want to see , then co. I’ll let you play for real, as much as you want. Let’s talk about sothing serious.]
[Natasha: No fun. Do you rember the Superhuman Registration Act? The underground SHIELD and SWORD Agency are now aggressively investigating all superhumans in the U.S.]
[Natasha: Gwen was put on the whitelist because of you, but we recently discovered a ntally unstable superhuman. Sotis he’s just a normal person, working a regular job, but other tis he transforms into a white warrior and travels across the country before returning.]
[Natasha: After investigations by SHIELD and the FBI, it seems he has schizophrenia and is linked to Egyptian mythology. That’s why I ca to ask if you know anything about this.]
White, erratic, sotis abroad, sotis working normally...
[Natasha: Oh, and recently he’s been consulting psychologists in New York, but no one has been able to help him. Chances are he’ll co to you in a few days.]
Got it.
That’s Moon Knight. The avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god.
Lorien thought for a mont before replying.
[Lorien Su: Just a pawn in the gas of gods. The real problem won’t happen in the U.S., but in Egypt. Don’t worry.]
[Natasha: So the gods of Egyptian mythology have revived too? Anyway, thank you.]
[Lorien Su: You sure like to demand things, Miss Black Widow.]
[Natasha: But you’re the only one I want~ Bye. I hope next ti we et, it’ll be in person.]
Lorien finished reading and turned off his phone. He gave one last look at the webpage still open, then closed it and deleted his browsing history.
Just wait—neither of you will get away unscathed.
...
By 5:00 PM, when work ended, Lorien appeared outside the door. After shutting it behind him, he took Bella and Aria upstairs.
He let Bella and Aria do as they pleased, then stepped into the Little Universe himself.
At that mont, Gwen was planting trees.
Lorien looked at Wanda, who was bent over, working hard, and smiled.
"Wanda, why are there feathers at the front door?"
The instant he said that, both Wanda and Gwen stiffened.
Wanda bit her lip.
"Really?"
The magic had already restored everything—where could feathers possibly be left?
So Lorien clapped his hands lightly.
"Must’ve been my mistake."
Phew~
Gwen and Wanda both let out a sigh of relief.
Lorien left soon after.
The mont he was gone, the two girls huddled together.
"What do we do? He noticed, right? Should we just admit it?" Wanda suggested.
Gwen shook her head imdiately. She was the one who had lied the most—if she got caught, the consequences would be severe.
"Then what should we do?"
Before Wanda could finish, Lorien’s voice rang out again.
"Hey, why does this blanket look brand new?"
The two of them exchanged a glance.
It’s over!
