Earth—

Amidst a deafening explosion laced with frost, the raging surge of cosmic energy finally began to subside. Overhead, the massive vortex hanging in the sky was slowly fading, taking with it the countless shadowy figures that had once lood within its swirling depths.

Everything was returning to normal.

The Convergence of the Realms had ended.

The Nine Realms had each returned to their rightful, stable positions.

Wanda stood before the Ancient Ice Coffin. Just monts ago, she had harnessed the artifact's energy and, together with Professor Selvig, achieved what should have been an impossible feat. Her face was pale, drained from the imnse magical and ntal strain she had endured. But through their combined effort, the two of them had managed to defuse a cosmic-level crisis.

She turned toward Selvig and forced a weary smile. "We did it."

The professor remained silent, eyes locked onto the flickering data on his instrunts. After a long pause, he finally nodded.

"Yes... we did it. The paraters of the Convergence have stabilized. Everything is... back to normal."

His gaze grew clearer with every word, voice rising with excitent.

Hearing that confirmation, Wanda exhaled deeply, the tension in her body lting away. She leapt down from the elevated platform that held the Ancient Ice Coffin—only for her legs to give out as soon as they hit the ground. She nearly collapsed.

Daisy, standing nearby, reacted instantly and caught her before she could fall.

"You did amazing, Wanda!"

Captain Supre gave her a proud thumbs-up. "You pulled it off."

Yes. She had pulled it off.

A faint, exhausted smile curled Wanda's lips. She felt like she'd just run a hundred thousand ters barefoot. All she wanted now was to throw herself onto a bed and sleep until the end of ti.

And yet... sothing still felt wrong.

Sothing was off.

She didn't know what it was—but deep in her soul, an unease gnawed at her.

Quicksilver, noticing the shift in his sister's expression, leaned in.

"What's wrong, sis?"

"Nothing… probably just exhaustion," Wanda muttered, forcing herself to wave the feeling away.

Nidavellir – Ho of the Dwarves

Before the forge, Gene and Eitri had completed all the preparations for crafting a new armor. If they had attempted this back on Earth—given Gene's complex designs and the intricate machinery involved—even with the full industrial power of Mason Industries and S.W.O.R.D., it would've taken weeks to build what he needed.

But here, Gene had a faster way.

Instead of forging a new suit from scratch, he proposed a radical approach: Pour the ultra-heated Uru tal directly onto his existing space armor, using it as the mold and foundation. The Uru would fuse with it—creating sothing wholly new, drastically reducing the production ti. In theory, the process could be completed in just an hour.

Now, everything was ready.

The giant forge roared with searing heat. Molten Uru flowed like lava, glowing red-hot, its temperature high enough to awaken dormant enchantnts. The magic of Yggdrasil itself was being channeled into the tal, causing it to bubble and hiss like a pot of boiling water.

"The ti's just about right," Eitri muttered, rubbing his palms with anticipation. He was practically trembling with excitent.

He couldn't wait to see the result of this fusion: Earth's strongest alloy (Vibranium), the mysterious alien tal (Kree Alloy), and Asgard's most powerful tal (Uru), all lted together in Nidavellir's legendary forge.

The possibilities were staggering.

"You sure you want to jump in like that?" Eitri turned toward Gene, frowning. "That furnace is... insanely hot. I wouldn't recomnd doing it this way."

"But I must," Gene said calmly.

He stepped forward toward the edge of the forge. The temperature sensors in his helt began screaming with alerts. Crimson light reflected across the V-shaped visor on his face.

The four Asgardians watched in stunned silence.

Why wasn't this Midgardian removing his armor? Wouldn't that be safer?

But Gene didn't hesitate.

Like a warrior leaping into battle, he hurled himself into the molten Uru. The searing tal splashed around him, fiery tongues licking across his armor as his entire body was subrged in the glowing liquid.

"Now!"

Eitri raised his hand and shouted.

The dwarves imdiately pulled the lever.

A massive reservoir suspended above the forge flipped over, pouring a torrent of red-hot tal into the molten pit. The mont it hit the pool, it erupted like a miniature supernova.

It was as if billions of suns had ignited at once.

The entire forge bathed in blinding white light.

Everyone instinctively shielded their eyes with their hands—but it was useless. The light pierced their eyelids, burning itself into their retinas. And yet... the light held no pain.

Instead, it felt righteous, pure, divine—untouchable.

"It's almost ti!" Eitri said, eyes fixed on the forge.

By all accounts, the process should've been complete.

"You don't think that Midgardian…" Volstagg began, but was quickly silenced by a glare from Lady Sif.

Then, without warning, the molten pool began to twist unnaturally.

It writhed and churned like sothing living was trying to rise from its depths.

Like a carp leaping through a dragon's gate, a dark silhouette began to erge from beneath the surface.

And the next chapter of evolution was about to begin.
