Nidavellir – The Weapons Forge.

A massive furnace glowed red-hot, filled to the brim with a thick, molten liquid. Lava-like heat radiated from it as a great vat suspended above poured more of the glowing fluid into the furnace. The molten mixture boiled and shimred with golden light, emitting an endless stream of searing heat. The entire weapons forge felt like an oven about to overheat and burst. Even the Asgardians' body hair curled slightly from the oppressive temperature.

"This—this is our weapons forge!" Eitri announced proudly to Gene, gesturing around as they stood on a narrow balcony overlooking the scene. Beside them roared the gigantic furnace they had just witnessed from afar. "Right here is where I forged Mjolnir with my own hands!" he added, beaming like a child bragging about his prized toy.

Uru tal—used to forge Mjolnir—was a rare alloy unique to Nidavellir. In fact, it could only be found on this very world. Even Odin's mighty spear, Gungnir, was forged from this sa material. At first glance, freshly mined Uru looked unimpressive, just another dull rock. But its hardness surpassed anything the dwarves had encountered before. Upon closer study, they discovered sothing astonishing—it had an incredible affinity for magic.

However, the tal ca with one major drawback: it was nearly impossible to forge. Only the dying core of a neutron star—like the one powering this forge—could generate enough energy to lt Uru. That made Nidavellir not only its sole source but also the only place capable of working it.

Uru was rare, and even in Nidavellir, their reserves were limited. If the current situation wasn't so dire—and if Gene hadn't forged such a strong friendship with Eitri—he would never have gotten access to any of it.

And for that, Gene had to give thanks to his "loyal teammates"—the four warriors from Asgard. If they hadn't helped him so enthusiastically, there was no way he could've secured this precious tal so easily.

Led by Eitri, the group climbed to a higher platform overlooking the heart of the forge. From here, they could see the full scale of the massive furnace, with streams of molten Uru constantly being poured in from the overhead vat.

"We have to keep the Uru in a constantly molten state," Eitri explained. "This is the only place it can be forged. Even if you understand the forging process, without this furnace—blessed by Odin—you'd never manage to shape it."

He leaned over the railing and added, "This furnace heats the Uru to a precise temperature. Odin left behind an enchantnt within it. Once the Uru reaches a specific heat threshold, the enchantnt activates and draws magical energy from the World Tree, Yggdrasil, infusing the Uru with near-limitless power."

"Trust —what happens next is a scene you'll never forget!" Eitri's face lit up with passion, his beard swinging wildly as he gestured excitedly. He seed ready to act out the entire mont with sheer enthusiasm.

"Once the magic is infused," he continued, "your weapon will be granted unparalleled magical properties. And since it's made of Uru, it'll unleash five or six tis the normal power." His eyes softened with nostalgia. "You should've seen it when Mjolnir was forged. Endless lightning filled the forge. The entire chamber turned white. The sheer force of that thunderstorm... it was unbelievable."

By the ti Eitri finished, Gene had gained a solid understanding of the forging process. In simple terms: heat the Uru in Odin's enchanted furnace until the enchantnt activates, then let the World Tree pour its magical essence into the tal.

Originally, Gene assud Odin's so-called "blessing" was just ceremonial. But hearing Eitri's detailed description changed his mind. It actually intrigued him.

Gene had always been fascinated by Yggdrasil, the mythical World Tree said to support all nine realms of Norse cosmology. Now, it seed that legend had beco reality.

And with that, a bold idea sparked in Gene's mind.

"You said Uru can only be heated properly inside this furnace," Gene mused after a mont of contemplation. "Then what if... what if we pour the molten Uru directly onto another weapon before it cools?"

Eitri froze in place.

"You an... coat another weapon in molten Uru?" he asked, blinking in surprise.

Gene nodded.

"No! Absolutely not!" Eitri imdiately waved his hands in rejection. "We've tried similar experints before. Nothing—not a single material—can withstand Uru's corrosive power. Even the finest craftsmanship in the Nine Realms..."

He paused mid-sentence.

His eyes locked onto Gene with growing intensity. The glint in them sharpened with each passing second.

"Wait. Wait a minute... Maybe—just maybe—if we combine one of Midgard's greatest materials with Nidavellir's finest..."

His voice dropped into a whisper.

"This... this might just work!"
