Loki's words had an effect.

The Chitauri King was loyal to Thanos, calling himself the most devoted servant. To him, Thanos was a supre god.

He could look down on Loki, even bla him—but he could not defy Thanos' will.

Right now, Loki was the executor of Thanos' plan, while the Chitauri King played only a supporting role, at most providing oversight. No matter what the future held for Loki, at this mont, he was still carrying out the plan. If the plan failed, then the Chitauri King would have every right to torture Loki however he pleased. But for now, whatever Loki intended to do, he had no choice but to cooperate.

Loki knew this, which was precisely why he had spoken those words.

Seeing the Chitauri King withdraw his action, Loki's lips curled in silent mockery.

The Chitauri King stared at Loki for a long mont before speaking slowly.

"So, what do you need to do now?"

"Gather your army and wait for the portal to open. I will start a war on Earth."

"The Earth has its own guardians. You know this, Loki," the Chitauri King said coldly.

The planet itself wasn't much, but it was special—especially after the recent ergence of a mysterious figure. That figure had even defeated the ruler of Hell, phisto. The news had spread through certain circles—higher races, powerful factions that touched the level of the Heavenly Father.

As a subordinate of Thanos, the Chitauri King, of course, had heard the whispers.

A being stronger than phisto, possibly even surpassing Thanos himself.

And Loki wanted to start a war there? That was nothing short of suicide.

The Chitauri King was too proud to be part of such reckless foolishness. Even with an overwhelming army, going up against a Heavenly Father-level opponent was a death sentence.

Doubt crept into his mind. Was Loki using him for revenge? Throwing his army into the fire as cannon fodder?

Loki, however, seed entirely unconcerned with the Chitauri King's suspicions. Instead, he gave a pale, wicked smile.

"Believe , you have no reason to win this war."

"You are seeking revenge, aren't you?"

The Chitauri King's voice was thick with fury. His eyes darkened, brimming with killing intent.

Loki ignored him completely. "I want the entire universe's attention focused on Earth. This war must be massive. Your army must be large enough."

The Chitauri King narrowed his eyes. His mind pieced together Loki's intentions.

"You want to use this war to divert Asgard's attention... What exactly are you planning?"

"That's none of your concern. Just do as I say."

The Chitauri King's anger simred down. At the very least, Loki seed to have a plan.

His gaze lingered on Loki for a mont longer before his figure slowly faded away.

As his form vanished, the entire world around them dissolved into shifting light and shadow.

Loki found himself back on the narrow path.

He glanced at the mist ahead before turning away and continuing forward.

He walked for an unknown amount of ti before finally stepping into a dark and desolate ruin.

The fog thinned, revealing a battlefield frozen in ti.

Corpses lay scattered across the land. Countless bones—so sitting, so kneeling, others impaled upon the ground.

A jungle of weapons pierced through the earth, forming a grotesque monunt to the fallen.

Among the human remains were horse-like skeletons, yet these creatures had skeletal wings upon their backs.

Moonlight cast an eerie glow upon the battlefield. A cold wind howled through the ruins, rustling the bones, whispering like the voices of the dead.

A thick, suffocating aura lingered in the air—iron and blood, tragedy and despair.

Loki didn't need to guess what had happened here. He could see it.

"Valkyrie..."

He stepped toward a pristine white skeleton. The figure knelt on one knee, hands resting on the hilt of a sword driven into the ground. A sharp spear impaled its chest.

Loki gazed at it for a long mont before murmuring,

"So, this is where you fell."

The Valkyrie.

The most elite warriors of Asgard, an all-female legion handpicked from thousands. Each one a force of nature.

Their duty had been to protect Asgard and the royal family, answering only to Odin himself.

Yet, at so point, they had disappeared—fading from history, becoming nothing more than legend.

No one knew why. No one knew what had happened.

Odin had never spoken of it.

But now, standing among their remains, Loki had his answer.

His erald eyes glead with realization. He recalled an obscure record he had once uncovered in the halls of the Immortal Palace. A rumor.

A truth, now confird.

A slow, knowing smile curled his lips.

"I was right..."

Stepping over the bones, he continued onward.

At the heart of the ruin, a great castle lood.

Its architecture mirrored Asgard's, eerily identical.

Loki halted at its entrance, tilting his head upward.

Then—

A voice echoed from behind him.

"How curious. A Jotun in Asgardian armor, wandering through Hel's underworld to find . Tell , who are you?"

The voice was smooth, yet laced with an undeniable air of authority.

A ruler. A warrior. A sovereign with blood-soaked hands.

Every syllable carried power. Fear. Death.

Even Loki felt the weight of it.

One misstep, and he would die.

He did not turn.

Instead, he smiled.

"My dear sister... do you seek revenge?"
