Stark was truly envious. Why couldn't he find such a good-looking, obedient, and powerful "housekeeper"?

Thinking of this, Stark said sincerely, "Luo Bai, I think our relationship is good. You won't refuse such a small request from , right?"

Looking for a housekeeper similar to Polaris? To be honest, that was quite difficult.

"Tony, you're asking too much of ," Luo Bai couldn't help but complain.

"Is it really that hard?" Stark asked in surprise. "You just need to ask Polaris if she has any female friends who want to do housework. Polaris is so good; her friends shouldn't be much different, right?"

Luo Bai thought for a mont and spoke hesitantly, "That's true, but... Polaris' identity is actually quite special."

"Special?" Tony frowned and asked, "What's so special?"

"I ntioned before that she is a mutant," Luo Bai replied.

Mutants? "I don't know much about mutants, but I've heard of them," Stark muttered.

Mutants have been in the news for a while, so Stark knew a bit about them. "I heard that mutants are a group of special humans whose genes have mutated. So of them have very powerful abilities and do evil everywhere, like the Magneto incident that made headlines," Stark explained.

Seeing that Stark had so misunderstandings about mutants, Luo Bai clarified, "Actually, not all mutants are bad people. They are just like humans; there are good ones and bad ones."

"Of course, I understand that very well. Although the news has painted mutants as evil, I've never believed it. You know how congressn like to spin things," Stark shrugged, complaining indifferently.

Stark had always been dissatisfied with the leadership of his country, mainly because he had been publicly criticized by mbers of parliant. He understood their biases well and maintained a neutral attitude towards mutants, especially with an obedient "housekeeper" like Polaris.

However, he didn't realize how harsh those in power were towards mutants, so Luo Bai felt compelled to remind him: "You know the higher-ups have been oppressing mutants. If you hire a mutant as a 'housekeeper', you'll run into a lot of trouble. For example, just now, the X-n ca to my door claiming that Polaris was a wanted criminal and wanted to take her away."

"Wanted?!" Stark was confused and quickly asked, "What cri did Polaris commit?"

"She is a mutant; that's the cri," Luo Bai replied helplessly.

Stark beca imdiately angry, cursing loudly, "These bastards! They're persecuting Polaris just because she's a mutant, and they want her all over the world? This is infuriating!"

Luo Bai nodded, saying, "It really is quite irritating. That's why I said it might be very troubleso if you hire mutants."

Stark began to understand the situation more clearly. Originally, he had jokingly asked Luo Bai to help him find a "housekeeper," but hearing about Polaris's current situation made him more serious.

"You said the X-n ca to see you earlier and wanted to take Polaris away?" Stark asked.

"Yes," Luo Bai confird.

"What happened next?" Stark inquired.

"Obviously, I drove them away," Luo Bai replied.

Stark was not surprised and simply said calmly, "That's good. But to be honest, Polaris is still a 'wanted criminal.' With that title, many people will co to trouble her in the future."

Of course, Luo Bai was aware of this. He asked, "Do you have any good ideas, Tony?"

Although Luo Bai wasn't overly worried about trouble in the future, the "wanted criminal" status was indeed troubleso, and it would be nice to resolve it properly. Stark seed more suited to handle the issue and appeared eager to help.

"The issues between mutants and humans are too complicated, and I may not be able to solve them. But if we just want to resolve Polaris's situation, it's not too troubleso. We can let Nick Fury handle it. I helped him a lot with the Avengers, so it should be easy for him to take care of this matter. Plus, Nick Fury wants to win you over, and since Polaris is your ally, he'll be happy to help."

Stark replied.

Hearing Stark agree so readily, Luo Bai smiled and said, "I'll rely on you, then. Otherwise, those people would co to my house every day, and that would give a headache."

Stark waved his hand, saying, "Do we still need to express our gratitude for our friendship?"

Luo Bai smiled. The issue with Polaris was resolved, and he no longer thought about it. Now he was more curious about why Stark had co.

"By the way, why did you co to see today?" Luo Bai asked.

Only then did Stark rember he had sothing else to discuss. "Actually, I've co to see you several tis to thank you," Stark said with a smile.

Luo Bai understood imdiately, "It seems that your poisoning problem has been solved."

"It's been solved for a while now. Just as you said, I found new technology," Stark replied.

When he ntioned "new technology," Stark appeared montarily lost in thought. He thought of his father and felt a wave of disappointnt.

"I rarely ntion my father because I hardly ever saw him. In my eyes, he didn't love . He was always busy and rarely spent ti with . But after watching the video he left behind, I realized he was doing great things," Stark sighed.

Luo Bai understood but didn't know how to comfort him, so he simply smiled and said, "As long as you're healthy."

"Thank you, Luo Bai. Not only did you help with my poisoning issue, but you also helped understand many things again," Stark said sincerely.

Luo Bai smiled and responded half-jokingly, "Why are you so sentintal now?"

Stark shrugged, saying, "I've been feeling quite anxious and insecure lately. That's why I sought you out. I feel that only you can give a sense of security."

"..."

Seriously. If it were a beautiful woman saying such things to Luo Bai, even if Polaris had said those words, he would have been happy. But now, with Stark sitting on the sofa expressing this, Luo Bai felt it was very strange.

"It's hard for to talk to you like this," Luo Bai couldn't help but complain.

Stark understood and quickly clarified, "Please, Luo Bai, don't get wrong. I'm just a little scared. I don't know if I can protect the Earth. Do you understand this feeling? As I face more and more enemies, I often have so worries."

"It seems you're in trouble again," Luo Bai said.

Stark shook his head and explained, "That's not exactly true. I did get into trouble a while ago. A man nad Ivan Vanko confronted on the racetrack, but I resolved it. However, after seeing the technology he developed, I felt a sense of crisis."

"When I ca to your house today, I was even more worried after witnessing Polaris's abilities. You, Hulk, and Polaris all have extraordinary powers. I can call myself a superhero, but compared to you, I feel my own strength is too weak."

"Although I don't like Nick Fury, he's right: the Earth is in danger. I'm starting to wonder if I can really protect it."

Stark sighed.

At that mont, Luo Bai finally understood that Stark had co to seek comfort.

No, wait. Why had he beco an unexpected spiritual ntor?
