A power he had never accounted for—
The power of the fairies.
If Luo Bai were just an ordinary Sorcerer Supre, Dormammu wouldn't have feared him at all.
After all, Dormammu had mastered all of the magic Luo Bai had learned long before he was even born. There was no reason to be afraid.
In his own invincible domain, he was facing a mage who had just begun to wield magic.
When those facts were put together, Dormammu simply couldn't imagine how he could possibly lose.
And yet—he lost.
And he lost miserably.
He didn't even have a chance to fight back.
Worse still, he had almost dragged the entire Dark Dinsion into ruin along with himself.
Dormammu hated it.
He gnashed his teeth in fury.
It wasn't just hatred—there was also a deep sense of humiliation.
I only used a basic attack on you... Why did you go straight for your ultimate move?!
Dormammu didn't know what Luo Bai was thinking, but suddenly, his expression turned dark and serious.
With a furious roar, he bellowed:
"I admit it—I underestimated you!"
"I never expected the power of the fairies to appear on Earth... and even more shocking—it's inside your body!"
"But what I don't understand is—why?!"
"You possess the fairy power, capable of swallowing even the Dark Dinsion, yet you still chose to sell your soul to phisto?!"
"phisto—the so-called Lord of the Hell Dinsion—do you really think he can resist the power of the fairies?!"
Dormammu's thunderous voice echoed throughout the Dark Dinsion.
His rage was so imnse that the entire dinsion began to tremble violently, responding to its ruler's fury.
Yet—
Despite Dormammu's overwhelming anger, Luo Bai was completely confused.
What the hell is he talking about?
"Who told you I sold my soul to phisto?" Luo Bai asked, his brows furrowing.
"Of course, phisto did!" Dormammu spat.
As he spoke, an ancient envelope materialized in front of Luo Bai.
A devil's sigil was imprinted on the wax seal.
Luo Bai opened it.
Inside, he found a letter—and it wasn't addressed to Dormammu alone.
Because the very first line read:
"Dear Lords of the Evil Dinsions..."
Luo Bai quickly skimd through the contents.
And then—he understood everything.
It was an invitation.
phisto had sent letters to the rulers of various evil dinsions, urging them to descend upon Earth and wreak havoc.
But perhaps, knowing that Dormammu was particularly fixated on Luo Bai's soul, he had written sothing extra just for him—
A direct provocation.
The letter read:
"Luo Bai is an extrely powerful mage—far beyond any Sorcerer Supre before him.
I have found him and witnessed firsthand the strength of his soul—it surpasses any human soul in history."
"We have made a deal.
He has agreed to offer his soul to ."
"However, in exchange, he wishes to regularly absorb energy from the Dark Dinsion."
Luo Bai exhaled sharply.
So that's why Dormammu rushed to Earth in such a fury.
It wasn't just because of him—
It was because phisto had manipulated Dormammu into believing that Luo Bai was already his.
This entire letter was designed to provoke him!
Summarizing it simply, the ssage phisto sent to Dormammu was:
"Dormammu, I know you want Luo Bai's soul... but I already got it first."
"Luo Bai said that as long as I provide him with a steady supply of Dark Dinsion energy, he'll be mine."
"So, Dormammu, you'll need to make sure Luo Bai gets that energy—regularly."
"If you refuse... I'll co after you."
Dormammu had no choice but to be furious after reading that.
phisto hadn't just stolen his target—
He was now demanding that Dormammu personally help maintain that target!
If this got out, people would start thinking that Dormammu had lost to phisto!
As the Lord of the Dark Dinsion, how could Dormammu possibly tolerate such humiliation?
That was why he rushed to Earth in a fit of rage—
To kill Luo Bai.
To tear his soul from his body by force.
And once that was done—
To launch an all-out attack on the Hell Dinsion itself.
But he never expected that Luo Bai had actually gained the power of a fairy!
No—he already had the power of a fairy, so why would he offer his soul to phisto?
Dormammu couldn't figure it out, but Luo Bai simply chuckled.
"I already told you—he's the Lord of Lies. And yet, you actually believed what phisto said?" Luo Bai said helplessly.
Dormammu still seed a bit dazed. He frowned and asked in confusion, "What do you an by that?"
Luo Bai didn't say anything. Instead, he pulled out a contract.
"This is a contract written by phisto himself, complete with his signature. You'll understand once you read it." Luo Bai said as he unfolded the docunt.
Dormammu quickly scanned the contract, and the mont he finished reading, realization struck him like a thunderbolt.
Damn it!!
phisto had tricked him!!!
That bastard had written the letter solely to provoke him into coming to Earth!
As the pieces fell into place, Dormammu's expression darkened.
"So phisto really did et with you... Does that an he knows the power of the fairy is within you?" he asked hastily.
"Of course he knows~~ He's in the sa situation as you now~~ He probably needs to start all over again~~~" Luo Bai replied casually.
"!!!!!"
Dormammu was utterly shocked.
That bastard!!!
phisto hadn't ntioned "fairy power" even once in his letter.
Because he knew—if Dormammu had realized that fairy power existed on Earth, he would have never set foot here.
Just as Dormammu was processing this revelation, Luo Bai dropped another bombshell that was even harder for him to accept.
"I did make a deal with phisto, but the terms were completely different from what he claid in his letter."
"He promised to provide with dark energy on a regular basis. And in return, I agreed not to let the power of the fairy devour the Hell Dinsion."
"But he had one condition—he said the power of the fairy is insatiable, and the Hell Dinsion alone might not be able to sustain it. So, he suggested that I turn to you instead."
"But as the Supre Sorcerer, I can't just start a war so easily. That's when phisto stepped in and said he had a way to lure you here himself."
"Honestly, I never expected he'd trick you this badly."
Luo Bai sighed as he spoke.
Dormammu clenched his fists. His gaze flickered between Luo Bai and the contract in his hands.
The entire Dark Dinsion trembled under the weight of his fury.
"phisto!!! I will tear you apart!!!" Dormammu roared.
He could have chosen not to invade Earth.
After all, there were countless planets across the multiverse, and Earth was just one small part of his grand plan.
If he had known that fairy power was present on Earth, he would have put his invasion on hold without hesitation.
Because fighting against that power... would be no different from challenging the Devourer of Worlds.
And without absolute certainty of victory, how could Dormammu possibly challenge Galactus?!
But because of phisto!!
Because of that lying, scheming bastard!!!
The Dark Dinsion—the realm Dormammu had cultivated and ruled for so long—had been dragged into this ss!
"I'm going to kill him! I'm going to rip him apart! I'll reduce the flas of Hell to nothing but legend! I'm going to erase the very title of 'Lord of the Hell Dinsion' from existence!!!"
Dormammu bellowed in rage.
At this mont, his only thought was to hunt down and destroy phisto.
As he prepared to leave, Luo Bai suddenly stopped him.
"If you want to go after phisto, I won't stop you. But Dormammu, you can't just ignore what happened with your invasion of Earth," Luo Bai said, his expression turning serious.
Hearing these words, Dormammu, who had been consud by fury, suddenly cald down.
