"Found you."
Kurogai's lips curled into a slight smile as he ca to a halt.
Originally, he'd planned to use the opportunity to visit the orphanage. But the mont he stepped through the portal, his pre-warning ward triggered. Kaecilius's presence had erged. There was no ti for detours — capturing him took priority.
In a flash, Kurogai activated the Sling Ring on his finger. With a sharp circular motion, he opened a golden portal in front of him and stepped through, vanishing from New York instantly.

Near the London Sanctum, several figures hurried down the quiet street, cloaked under the shroud of night. At the head was a man in worn monk's robes, his eyes gleaming with faint violet rings — unmistakably Kaecilius. Trailing behind him were four loyal followers, corrupted and eager.
Kaecilius turned to them, his voice low but intense.
"Listen closely. Our target is the building ahead — marked with the diagonal symbol. That is the London Sanctum, one of the three anchoring points that protect Earth. We infiltrate, eliminate the guardians silently, and then together, we dismantle the Sanctum's protective runes. Once it falls, Dormammu's influence will deepen in this world."
The others nodded silently. They had heard this before — Kaecilius had beco more than persuasive since stealing the Book of Cagliostro. Its forbidden pages had taught him how to draw strength from the Dark Dinsion. His power had grown exponentially — tenfold in re days. But he wanted more. To bring Dormammu into this world, the Sanctums had to fall.
He couldn't do it alone. That's why he'd recruited these disciples — tools to carry out his destruction.
"Understood!" they replied in unison, prepared to strike.
But before they could move, a calm, almost amused voice echoed from above:
"Tsk tsk… I expected sothing grander from you, Kaecilius. Maybe a bold entrance, a declaration of power? But rats in the dark are still just rats. Sneaking around suits you."
Kaecilius and his followers whipped around, eyes darting upward. Standing nonchalantly on the rooftop across from them was a young man in a trench coat, leaning with his arms crossed. His heterochromatic eyes glead with cold amusent.
Kurogai.
Kaecilius's expression twisted with rage. "You… that damn brat!"
The instant he laid eyes on him, Kaecilius knew. This was his nesis — the one who humiliated him, the root of his disgrace.
"You walked into your grave, boy. I won't let you escape this ti. Kill him!"
The followers surged forward as Kaecilius raised a glowing red rune in his palm, charging his attack. But Kurogai didn't flinch.
"These amateurs?" he said with a mocking smirk.
A glowing sword of pure light surged into existence in Kurogai's hand. With a swift throw, the blade tore through the air and exploded in the center of the group.
BOOM!
In one flash, all four followers were obliterated. Their shields, if they even managed to cast them, shattered instantly.
Even full-fledged Kamar-Taj sorcerers struggled to withstand Kurogai's magic — these dark disciples never stood a chance.
Kaecilius barely reacted. He hadn't expected them to win. They were distractions, pawns to buy ti.
And it worked.
While Kurogai dealt with them, Kaecilius had summoned his weapon — a dark-forged magical sword, pulsing with corrupted energy. Its blade was unlike any conjured by traditional spells — infused with the essence of Dormammu's realm.
Kurogai's gaze sharpened.
"A magic sword infused with dark energy? Interesting... but still useless."
As he raised his eyes, a distinct change occurred — a crimson five-pointed star ford in each iris.
The Eye of Replication had activated.
He wasn't just here to defeat Kaecilius — he was here to learn.
The magic Kaecilius was using ca from the Book of Cagliostro. It was dark magic, forbidden and ancient — sothing Kurogai hadn't encountered in the Kamar-Taj libraries.
He needed that knowledge.
As Kaecilius swung the sword, Kurogai's eyes pulsed, silently recording every movent, rune, and fluctuation of magical energy. Within monts, he had copied the spell's structure.
And then — sothing stirred.
Within Kurogai's left eye, hidden beneath the Replication Eye, the Ultimate Eye pulsed for the first ti in a year.
A faint ssage echoed in his mind:
[Second pupil ring saturation reached. Eligibility for elevation confird. Would you like to proceed with advancent?]
Kurogai's expression shifted slightly. Things were about to get far more interesting.
