"He is the boss of the Shadowkhan group. With his help, things will be much easier for us."

Spider-Man, Peter, feared that Mysterio might not hear him, so he shouted loudly.

"Don't worry, you two! I, Shadow, won't let the Elentals wreak havoc unchecked!"

Seeing this, Finn also yelled.

"Shadow."

It was a codena he ca up with on the spur of the mont, and it just happened to fit with the Shadow Corps and the overall image of their organization.

"Damn it, the Shadowkhan group again!"

Inside the illusion—

Mysterio's face darkened, his teeth gritted in anger as veins bulged on his forehead.

He had thought their previous interference was just a coincidence, that their appearance had rely disrupted his plans by chance.

But now, here they were again.

Did this an...

His plan had been leaked?

For a mont, panic overtook Mysterio. If his sche was exposed, all his efforts would be in vain.

At the sa ti—

Boom!

The massive Fire Elental, projected by countless drones, shot up into the sky, greedily absorbing all the surrounding tal.

"Quentin, now's not the ti to stand around! Get the Fire Elental offline, fast!"

A voice from his earpiece snapped Mysterio back to reality.

Quickly, he manipulated the drones, conjuring an elaborate battle scene.

Across the vast playground—

The enormous Fire Elental, having devoured the tal, continued to grow, its heat intensifying with every passing second.

Waves of scorching air rolled through the area.

Its brilliant flas illuminated the once-dark playground like a teor crashing into the night.

"You two! Since you're here, stop standing around! Help lure the Fire Elental into an open area!"

"Otherwise, it'll consu all the tal nearby!"

To the onlookers—

Mysterio, stepping on his signature green mist, appeared to walk through the air. He turned his head and shouted at Peter and Finn.

Just as he finished—

Boom!

The Fire Elental stomped down hard. The ground trembled, cracking apart in jagged lines.

The sheer force sent thick concrete slabs flying, molten magma bursting through the gaps.

Nearby buildings were instantly engulfed in flas.

"Oh, great! Nick, where's Wanda?! We need her help!"

Peter Parker, alard, leaped into action, swinging forward to intercept the Lava Titan.

The intense heat made him wince.

Whoosh!

Boom!

Noticing him, the Fire Elental roared, stomping forward with heavy strides. It swung its massive fists wildly, eager to crush the tiny figure in midair.

"Night Monkey, be careful! I'll help!"

Finn, who had been knocked down earlier, soared into the sky, his hands glowing with a faint white light.

"Hey, Shadow! Don't get too close! That thing's furious right now!"

"Just lure it to an open space!"

Mysterio's heart pounded as he watched the man in black charge straight toward the Elental.

After all, the Fire Elental wasn't real.

It was just an elaborate illusion, a collection of drones.

If Finn got too close, he might realize the truth.

Then—

A voice crackled in his earpiece.

"Quentin, I've got a fla bomb ready. Be careful—he seems to know our plan."

Mysterio's expression darkened.

Did the Shadowkhan group actually know the truth?

If they did, why hadn't they exposed him yet?

Shaking the thought aside, he commanded a drone to fire a fla bomb at Finn.

Boom!

A blazing sphere shot toward him like a teor.

To everyone watching, it looked like a deadly fireball.

"Shadow, watch out!"

Spider-Man yelled.

Finn, however, remained unfazed.

"Hmph. Interesting."

He narrowed his eyes slightly, sensing that Mysterio was trying to test him.

But Mysterio had underestimated him.

Just before the fireball made contact—

A massive frozen wall materialized, radiating an overwhelming chill.

Boom!

The fireball exploded against the ice barrier, sending a shockwave through the area.

Flas and ice clashed violently, debris shooting into the sky.

Mysterio shielded himself against the gusts of wind, his face turning pale.

"This guy...!"

Panic surged through him.

This wasn't so ordinary fighter—

Finn was a real magician.

His ice wasn't an illusion. It was real magic.

It was only a matter of ti before he figured out the Fire Elental's secret.

Mysterio had gone through so much trouble to lure Scarlet Witch away—

And now, he had to deal with another magic user.

---

anwhile, on the other side of the city—

In a dimly lit alley—

"...No one?"

Wanda Maximoff surveyed the dark, damp surroundings, her expression serious.

Half a minute ago, when the Fire Elental had appeared—

She had been alerted by Nick Fury.

But just as she prepared to intervene, she caught a glimpse of sothing at the street corner—

Sothing ghostly.

Back when she had searched for Doctor Strange in New York, she had read about beings like this in ancient texts—

A Ghost—a supernatural entity said to steal human souls.

She had imdiately decided to follow it.

And yet—

Now, standing in the alley, she saw nothing.

Only trash cans and rats scurrying into the sewers.

"Strange..."

Wanda hesitated, taking a step forward—

Then froze.

Her pupils shrank.

Suddenly, she whipped her head around, staring in the direction of the flas.

There was sothing over there—

A force pulling at her senses.

A magical presence.

A power that resonated with the very core of her being.

That magic—

It was the sa as hers.

Soone over there is using magic...

Her hesitation vanished.

She abandoned the chase, soaring into the sky, flying toward the battle.

At the sa ti—

A shadowy figure appeared at the street corner, speaking into a communicator.

"Quentin, Scarlet Witch is heading your way."
