Boom!
The sparkling sea to the north of Venice exploded like a bomb falling into the water. A massive wave surged upwards, condensing into a colossal water monster in the blink of an eye.
Whoop!!
The water monster's gargantuan form covered half the street as it raised massive arms, swiping at the surrounding buildings!
The houses were demolished, and even the boats on the water, which didn't have ti to escape, were overturned. Passengers fell into the water, struggling to stay afloat.
Boom!
One of the boats was washed ashore.
"Peter, things are getting pretty intense."
Fat Ned, sitting in the boat, clutched his girlfriend in shock.
"Great, a water Monster..."
"MJ, Ned, we need to get out of here, now."
Little Spider-Man Peter grabbed both of them, pulling them off the boat while his gaze remained locked on the water monster in the distance.
The water monster had already started destroying nearby buildings, and Peter felt the pressure mounting.
He was anxious to deal with the giant, but then paused.
After a mont's hesitation, he yelled toward Wanda. "Aunt Wanda, hurry up and handle this guy!"
"Aunt?" Ned blinked, confused.
"There's no ti to explain, Mr. Finn, please get out of here now."
Peter urged, glancing over his shoulder at Finn.
"No problem, good luck."
"Go on, Wanda! And about what I said earlier about the flowers, we'll talk about that later tonight!"
Finn waved to Wanda, then quickly grabbed MJ and the others, pulling them inland.
"Everything's a lie from Mysterio," Finn muttered under his breath as they ran. "That guy's got Stark tech and used it to create illusions of being a superhero. He wants to play the part of the next Iron Man—thinking he can beat the supervillains to the punch. Pathetic."
As they ran, Finn's thoughts stayed sharp. Wanda, after all, was a real magician.
No matter how much tech Mysterio had, Wanda could handle him.
"Hurry up, everyone. The water monster's going to catch up any second."
Finn pulled Ned and the others toward the city center. The further inland they went, the less water there was.
"Mr. Finn, aren't you going to save the day?" MJ asked, out of breath as she jogged behind him, clearly puzzled.
"That's a job for the heroes," Finn answered with a slight chuckle. "I'm just an ordinary guy here."
MJ furrowed her brow, clearly unsure of what Finn ant. She glanced around for Peter. "Where's Peter?"
Before Finn could respond, a massive boom sounded, and the road ahead collapsed. A torrent of water gushed up from the newly ford crevice, blocking their path.
The giant figure of the water monster rose high, and with a swipe of its arm, nearby buildings shattered.
"Shit! How did he catch up so fast?" Ned cursed, panic rising.
"Everyone back up!" Finn shouted.
They barely managed to retreat as the monstrous figure approached.
Finn felt the shock of the situation, recognizing the chaos.
According to Mysterio's plan, the water elental shouldn't have shown up here in Venice. Sothing wasn't right.
"Why would Mysterio change his script on a whim?" Finn muttered, both bewildered and prepared for whatever was coming next.
---
Elsewhere, the city lay in ruins, deserted except for the wreckage of sunken ships. The water was unnervingly calm.
"Looks like they're gone."
Wanda surveyed the area. The water had settled, and the massive water monster group had disappeared without a trace.
In the water, there was no trace of any remaining threat.
"That's strange..." Wanda frowned, confused. "When the water elents appeared earlier, I felt no living presence. So, where did they go?"
---
Boom!
Just then, the water elental forces started wreaking havoc once more, smashing against the city with their powerful waves. Buildings crumbled, caught in the chaos.
"Should we do sothing?" Ned asked, crouching in a street corner with his girlfriend, both watching the destruction unfold.
MJ's face was pale, her usually calm deanor shaken.
"Wait for the real heroes to show up," Finn said confidently, his voice calm as ever.
"He'll be here soon."
---
At that mont, the sound of mist swirling filled the air.
A green figure erged from the sky, cutting through the pure blue horizon. Mist swirled around him, and in an instant, he descended, landing with grace.
He was clad in a dieval-style battle suit with a helt made of special glass, and a green fog surrounded him as he approached the water elental horde.
"Hey! Your opponent is !" the mysterious figure called out, his voice full of authority.
The water elental group, now enraged, swung their massive arms towards the newcor.
"Roar!"
The mysterious figure didn't flinch. With a soft grunt, mist rose from beneath his feet as he floated into the air, stepping lightly on the fog. He extended both hands, unleashing a torrent of mist that wrapped around the water elentals.
"Although I don't know him, he's pretty cool," Ned said, his eyes wide in awe.
"A new superhero?" MJ asked, her voice full of intrigue. "This guy's powerful. His moves are so smooth, like he belongs in a superhero movie."
"He sure looks cool," Finn comnted, his eyes narrowing as he observed the figure's costu. "But that armor—wait a second."
Finn noted that the battle suit's breastplate had a design that reminded him of Thor's armor, and the mysterious figure's aura felt similar to Doctor Strange. Was this so combination of both heroes?
"Well, this should be fun."
Finn smirked to himself. He had sothing even more interesting planned.
"We should get out of here. It's too dangerous."
With that, Finn pulled the group back further, heading toward the city center. As he did, shadows began to rise from the corners of the street.
From the darkness, several black-clad figures erged, silently moving like predators preparing to strike.
Next second, they shot forward, rushing toward the water elental group with deadly precision.
