Garp shouted in shock upon hearing Koby's words.
The terrain of Marineford had been ticulously constructed. There was no way it could have an earthquake.
But now, there really was an earthquake!
There could be only one explanation: it was caused by the Vampire Factory.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
Screams and sounds of buildings collapsing ca from the other side of the Den Den Mushi.
Even without seeing Marine HQ directly, they could tell the situation there was critical!
"Damn it! Sengoku! Hurry up!"
Garp urged Sengoku anxiously.
"I know!"
Sengoku replied, then flapped his wings forcefully to speed up their flight.
At this mont, Marine HQ was in the midst of a catastrophe.
For so unknown reason, a massive earthquake had struck Marineford.
Everywhere you looked, buildings were collapsing.
The ground split open, buildings fell, and countless people either plunged into the fissures or were buried by rubble.
The situation was dire.
And it wasn't just the land; the surrounding sea was also shaking violently.
As far as the eye could see, the ocean was trembling fiercely.
The tides receded and surged, whirlpools ford and dissipated, waves rose and fell.
Finally, the water ford towering tsunamis, crashing toward Marine HQ.
For the people already suffering from the earthquake, this was a disaster upon disaster!
At the Sabaody Archipelago, earthquakes were occurring there as well.
All the islands were shaking violently, with giant trees and buildings visibly collapsing.
Even the distant seas were trembling!
"How is this possible?! Why is the Sabaody Archipelago having an earthquake?!"
"This isn't even real land! These islands are made of tree roots! How can there be an earthquake?!"
People were stunned.
The Sabaody Archipelago was different from other islands. It wasn't land but countless tree roots intertwined.
Disasters that struck land usually wouldn't affect it.
But now, this common knowledge was being overturned.
"Help! A tsunami is coming!"
"Ahhhh! I'm a Devil Fruit user!"
"Save !!"
The Devil Fruit users were undoubtedly the most desperate.
For them, tsunamis were their greatest nesis.
Many had already been swept into the sea, their fates unknown.
Above the Sabaody Archipelago, a giant green disk with several propellers floated in the sky.
The Straw Hat crew stood on it.
They looked down at the disaster below, terrified.
"God, that's terrifying… If it weren't for Luffy's Green Lantern ring, we'd be dead."
Brook watched the tragedy below, his teeth chattering uncontrollably.
"Ah… I can't even imagine what would've happened to if I was down there."
Chopper's face was twisted with fear.
"Is this caused by that monster? Where is it causing this earthquake from?"
Zoro looked at the devastation around them in shock.
"Didn't it say it would appear at Marine HQ? How is it affecting us here too?"
Sanji took a long drag of his cigarette, trying to calm himself.
"It's probably because its body is so massive that it covers both Marineford and the Sabaody Archipelago."
Robin stared at the screen and speculated.
"Then where is it?"
Nami looked at the screen in confusion.
Finally, they got their answer.
The screen showed the ocean floor, revealing what seed to be a dilapidated temple.
Honestly, ruins on the sea floor weren't that rare in the One Piece world.
But for the screen to focus specifically on this ruin, the implication was clear.
The Vampire Factory was likely under Marineford's seabed.
"Wait, in this situation… Negative emotions will be intense… What about Bugsy?!"
Zoro suddenly rembered and looked around for Bugsy.
Bugsy, who should've been on Luffy's back, was nowhere to be seen.
"Relax. I asked Luffy to make a hot air balloon and send Bugsy into the sky. If he lost control now, it'd be a huge problem."
Franky had already planned ahead.
That sounded very reliable.
"Help! Help!"
A cute voice called out from below.
"Huh? That sounds familiar."
Luffy looked down in confusion.
There, a white bear was hugging Law, shouting desperately for help.
But with the Sabaody Archipelago flooded, who could save them?
"Eh?! It's Tra-man! And that bear! Hang on, I'm coming to save you!"
Seeing familiar faces in danger, Luffy jumped down without hesitation.
"EEEEEEHHHHHHHH!!!"
His crew was shocked speechless by his reckless move.
Only Robin remained calm.
SPLASH!
"Help!"
As expected, Luffy imdiately beca a helpless landlubber upon hitting the water, struggling and crying for help as he clung to Bepo.
"Help!"
"Hey! I'm the one who needs saving here!"
Bepo couldn't help but retort.
Why did a bear in need of rescue suddenly have to save soone else?!
"Heaven's Wheel Armor."
Robin activated her Heaven's Wheel Armor, flying down swiftly.
She grabbed Luffy with one hand and rescued Bepo and Law at the sa ti.
She flew them all back onto the disk.
"Thank you, Robin," Luffy said weakly, lying on the floor exhausted.
"You idiot. Don't drag Robin into danger like that."
Sanji scolded him with disgust, stepping on Luffy's stomach to squeeze the water out.
"Thank you… Thank you all…"
Bepo lay on the ground, drained.
"I wonder how the others are doing…"
Bepo gazed blankly outside.
"They'll be fine. No one can swim better than them."
Law sat up, coughing hard.
"Cough… cough… Straw Hat crew, huh. Tsk… Now I owe you another favor."
Law clicked his tongue, clearly annoyed at having been saved by them.
"You're so tsundere."
Nami sighed helplessly.
"Hey! Straw Hat!"
A harsh voice called out.
Kid flew in, standing atop a mass of tal with his crew behind him.
They all landed on the floating disk without invitation.
"You lot must know what's going on here!"
Kid shouted angrily the mont he landed.
"Every weird thing that's happened recently has been connected to you! Tell what's happening!"
"Hey, that's rude."
Usopp sighed at Kid's attitude.
"If you want to ask questions, at least be polite."
Zoro, with his bad temper, drew his Zanpakuto and pointed it at Kid.
"You wanna fight?"
Kid imdiately flared up, ready to brawl.
