“Siddharta Gautama? The Buddha? As on THE Buddha?!” My eyes widened in surprise as the glowing in gold man with large earlobes was actually the famous Buddha.
“I am. You must be Chamber. I’ve heard so much about you from my friend. Unfortunately as much as I want to have a chat with you, we, my friend, have a problem to solve.” Buddha, without looking behind, pointed his thumb towards Trihexa, who roared out of what seems to be happiness for finally being acknowledged.
“So, what’s our plan here?” A few minutes later, we’re once again inside God’s holy bubble, watching the beast thrash its tentacles onto us.
“We seal it, like what we did thousands of years ago.” God answered Odin’s question, reminding him of their last battle against Trihexa.
“But the past can’t be repeated against Trihexa. The beast is smart and knows how to adapt against its enemies. Rember, Odin almost lost his life back then and it took quite a while to convince him to join us.” Buddha reminded them, causing Odin’s face to grimace, recalling a certain event.
“Don’t remind of that. It was but a re mont of weakness on my part. But I’m different now.” For the King of Norse Gods, Odin obviously have a pride as one to withhold.
While the big three talks, and Ajuka stayed on the sides, watching them.
“How did it go in convincing? When you arrived here, you looked like you already gone through the Great War.” I teased him, chuckling on the process.
“Don’t talk about it for now, please. The horrors I’ve witnessed, it makes want to use a mory wipe spell to myself.” Just by finishing his words, Ajuka shivered constantly.
‘This guy must’ve been traumatized by whatever God put him through.’ I whispered to myself, casting a silent prayer of recovery for Ajuka.
Poor child.
“Hey you. I heard you held the beast all by yourself, you must be pretty strong then.” Suddenly, Odin interrupted my thoughts, expressing his opinion towards my recent contribution.
God must’ve told him what I had to go through just to buy so ti to convince him.
“Yes.” I politely nodded my head.
“I also heard you’ve been wanting to et . The heir of the Alfheim Queen told so. What was her na again? Sylphie?” As he finished his words, the wise and aged look on his face suddenly disappeared, replaced by a perverted grin.
Wait what?
“Ahh~ I heard that Sylphie is a beauty to behold. Too bad she already swore to not let any man into her life.” Odin then shook his head in disappointnt as the perverted expression earlier faded away.
Okay, what the actual fuck?
Was Odin this perverted? Or just in this universe?
Where has the wise Odin, Godking of Norse gone off to?
Who is this old man?! Where did he take the powerful Odin to?!
Suddenly, the mighty image of the old and wise Odin in my mind cracked and fell apart, replaced by the earlier perverted face of Odin.
Goddammit.
“Odin, you haven’t changed yet.” On the side, upon witnessing the dark side of Odin, Buddha shook his head with a sigh.
Guessing by his words, Odin has been like this for years.
Sigh, I should’ve known.
This is a different universe after all.
“Are you three just going to have a chat there and wait until my barrier breaks or we’re making our move?” Thankfully, God interrupted the conversation, pointing at the small cracks appearing on the holy bubble.
After God told them off, Odin grumbled for the last ti before nodding his head.
“Fine. But don’t forget about our agreent earlier!” Odin continued for the last ti in which God nods his head.
I wonder what they talked about. Ajuka has been refusing to tell what went to them earlier.
“Since we can’t casually repeat what we did back then. We’re gonna need a new strategy. Preferably a fast one, so the beast won’t be able to adapt to our tactics.” Odin suggested, showcasing his strategical prowess.
Despite the awkward interaction earlier, Odin, is after all, still a King of Norse Gods, whose achievents can pile up on top of each other and reach the ceiling.
Albeit perverted, it’s hard to deny that Odin is an intelligent god. In fact, in so cases, Odin more known for his intellectual rather than his strength.
“Say kid, I wonder how you managed to survive against Trihexa.” Suddenly, the Godking turned his attention to him, his question out of the place.
“Why’d you ask?” Instead of answering his question, my answer was another question.
“Well, whatever you did back here earlier, we might need it again.” Odin explained.
However after what I just experienced with Trihexa when I’m alone with it, I was hesitant to do it again.
Can you bla though? Earlier I felt invincible when facing it when suddenly a single attack attempt from Trihexa changed that perspective.
However, despite my fear for my life, I felt responsible in helping dealing with the Apocalypse Beast threatening to end the universe. End the human race that I swore myself to protect.
“It’s my Longinus…” I then proceeded to explain the Loop ability to him, drawing a curious yet fascinated look from the God of Wisdom and Magic.
“That’s oddly familiar. Controlling the concept of ti? I know a certain soone who used it to almost conquer the world but failed to do so.” Odin muttered to himself, loud enough for us to hear.
Using ti to almost conquer the world? The sa world where several other Gods existed? This guy is either strong or nuts.
I prefer it being the latter.
“Still, enough about that. Although I’m curious what this Longinus is and how you got it but that’s not important right now.” Odin said before continuing.
“This is what you’ll do. I want you to do it again but approach with caution. We don’t want Trihexa knowing you’re using it again or else it might pull the sa move you said earlier.”
“As for us, while you distract the beast, we’ll slightly weaken it off without it noticing. The best we can do here is to siphon its energy to serve as the power for the runes that would be sealing him. Back then, Trihexa underestimated us so we managed to seal it off. But it’s different now, it’s stronger than ever and learning against us. We can’t treat it as a re mindless beast anymore.” Odin said seriously, his eyes staring at Trihexa’s deep six eyes.
“So, I’ll just distract it. Okay.” I sighed.
Just as I was about to conjure a portal to leave the protective bubble, soone I wasn’t expecting, ca forward in a sudden manner.
“I think I can help you.” Ajuka said, offering a hand to .
“What do you an? You? Helping ? Weren’t you almost on the verge of pissing yourself earlier? What changed?” I’m not mocking him or anything, in fact, I’m being sincere here, my question is ant to taken seriously.
“I may not be as strong as you might think but I developed a personal technique that would help us buy ti. I haven’t used it on soone as strong as Trihexa yet but I think this would be a good opportunity to test my limits.” From the look on his face, I can tell the determination of Ajuka.
“Fine. But does this consu large amounts of your Demonic Energy?” I asked first.
Albeit confused by my question, Ajuka still answered truthfully.
“No. In fact, I developed this technique to use as little amount of Demonic Energy as possible. So using it in a hundred consecutive tis won’t put much a dent on my reserves.”
“Good.” I nodded my head and said before placing my hand on his shoulder and applied the Loop ability on him.
“What did you do?” As Ajuka did not resist , he was now curious about what I did. I assu he must’ve felt the Loop energy I placed inside him.
“It’s the Loop ability of my Longinus that I explained earlier. Now as long as we thread carefully, we should be able to buy enough ti while avoiding our own deaths at the sa ti. Since your reserves are massive enough and that technique of yours doesn’t consu much, then you’ll only have to worry about the Loop ability as the consumption doubles for every ti you die.” I explained, gaining a look of admiration from Ajuka.
“This ability…is quite amazing. Thank you.”
“Don’t thank . I’m just taking precautions and I don’t want to deal with a sad Serafall once she hears the news of her friend’s death.” Coughing slightly, I refused to acknowledge his gratitude and insisted that it is a necessity.
“….I’m starting to see so of Serafall’s personality taking root in you. Be careful.” Ajuka replied in a dull manner.
“Seriously?” I gave him a monotonous stare.
***
As we both got outside the protective bubble, Trihexa imdiately shifted its tentacles from the holy bubble to the two of us.
“Get ready!” I warned the green-haired guy beside .
I don’t him growing too confident in the Loop ability and kill himself in an accident. After all, I made the sa mistake and I won’t let anyone take after .
“I know!” Ajuka shouted back and a green bubble surrounded his hand as he pushed it forward.
At first, I was confused at this gesture when my peripheral vision caught sothing happening that went beyond my expectations.
Normally, I was preparing to dodge because my senses were telling to do so however after the green hue appeared in Ajuka’s hands, my senses suddenly cald down even though the tentacles’ impending danger is still there.
If I didn’t trust Ajuka, I would’ve thought he betrayed and tries to kill but I know he won’t do that.
Standing still for a second, the tentacles that were on the verge of giving the sa feeling of being squashed to death suddenly went past , missing its target.
Trihexa missed? How is that even possible? It has six eyes and it missed ?!
Is this the reason why my danger senses cald down? Because it knew that I’m no longer in danger as Trihexa would miss.
For so reason, my eyes hovered over the green hue on Ajuka’s hands.
Why does it feel like whatever Ajuka did had a hand in what just happened.
Is this the technique that Ajuka was boasting about earlier?
As if recognizing my curious look, Ajuka showed a smirk and said.
“This is a technique that I’ve developed myself. It allows to control the natural phenona of the real world through nothing but sheer calculations. If the tentacles are ant to hit you, I could control it and change it from Hitting you to Missing you.” A steel resolved then flashed in Ajuka’s eyes as he introduced the technique to .
“I call this technique. Kankara Formula.”
‘In other words. This little shit can manipulate reality?!’ My eyes twitched several tis as realization struck to my core. I just underestimated this smart dog and he turns out to be stronger than I expected.
