A combined flashes of light resonated in the sky, taking dominance between one another.
One is a pure golden light, the other is dirty white and the last one is black like the darkness of a shadow.
These shades of light were illuminating the purple sky, casting terror on those on the ground.
The Angels and Devils, although clashing against each other, their attention is divided between their opponent and the victor of the fight between Michael and Chamber against Lucifer.
While Lucifer and Michael were the ones going all out agaiant each other, Chamber’s mindset was different.
He simply wanted to train his Holy Energy manipulation, hence why he joined this fight.
So far, he has managed to conjure several shapes through Holy Energy such as an Axe, Sword, Spears, a Hamr, and even a handgun, though it wasn't as effective as the real one since Chamber doesn’t exactly know how a handgun works in detail.
These are the capabilities of Holy Energy compared to Demonic Energy.
While the forr is mostly used similar to how Green Lantern uses their power, the latter is more of a source for magic spells.
Though to be honest, Chamber prefers Demonic Energy over Holy Energy all day due to its versatility.
Nevertheless, both are powerful sources of energy and Chamber got the both of them.
“Co!” Chamber grinned, challenging Lucifer with a smirk on his face. After all, he’s being left behind in the fight, it seems to him, that Lucifer wants to fight Michael more and vice versa.
“You!” Lucifer’s pride and arrogance didn’t hold back and the man’s emotions grew very unstable.
Michael, on the other hand, sighed in relief after seeing this. He’s been getting pressured by Lucifer nonstop and if the king of the devils continued his onslaught on him, he might’ve been injured greatly!
In his mind, he gave Chamber a thumbs up as a form of gratitude.
Maneuvering out of the way, Chamber narrowly dodged the incoming Evil Light spears.
Seeing this, Lucifer growled and rushed towards Chanber, a huge broadsword made of Evil Light in his hand.
“Eat this, you traitor!” Just as Chamber was about to jump out of the way, he suddenly saw Lucifer’s shadows swirling and jumped out of the surface of the ground, latching itself upon his ankles.
Held in place, Chamber’s eyes widened in surprise, and could only raise his hand to defend himself.
Bam!
Slash!
A limb flew away, it was Chamber’s.
Luckily, it gave him enough ti and space to break the shadow that was locking him in place.
“Chamber!” Worry and panic filled Michael’s face, unfurling his wings to intercept the fight and try to save Chamber.
“How is it? Painful?” Seeing this, Lucifer couldn’t help himself from grinning wildly, already expecting the painful expression that Chamber would bear.
However, that didn’t happen.
Instead, Chamber simply stared at the stump on his shoulders that had already stopped bleeding courtesy of his body’s healing factor.
Though not strong enough to regenerate limbs like the Phenex devils yet.
Then suddenly, Chamber did sothing that made Lucifer’s eyes go wide.
The stump suddenly glowed in green before suddenly generating flesh and bones out of nowhere.
It started from his shoulders then to elbows and finally, his entire hand.
With a simple gesture from Chamber, he has restored his decapitated limb.
He moved it around first, getting a feel for it before smirking.
“Surprised? Wait till you see Deadpool.”
Although confused by the words that Chamber used, it wasn’t enough to make him stop.
“Surely you have limits! I’ll just keep slicing your limbs one by one!” Confident in his assumption, Lucifer raised his hand again to deliver another devastating blow to Chamber.
Only for the latter to be prepared and dodged out of the way.
Lucifer rushed forward, chasing after Chamber with his enormous blade in his hand.
At the sa ti, he conjured several Evil Light spears from his behind and hurled them forward, trying to slow Chamber down.
However, the man just opened a portal which swallowed everything that Lucifer threw before casting an arrogant smirk towards Lucifer.
“That’s it? Co on, the power you’re holding is extrely powerful and you’re just using it to form toys? Aren’t you ashad of yourself?” Chamber then decided to add more fuel to the fire, mocking the prideful Lucifer.
“Garrrgghh! I’ll show you my might!” Lucifer clutched a handful of his black hair before an intense black aura radiated around him.
Chamber squinted his eyes upon seeing this. His magical senses telling him that whatever Lucifer is cooking in front of him, it is almost as strong as a nuclear explosion.
‘Maybe, I shouldn’t have mocked him?’ Chamber could not help but swallow a bitter pill.
“Raaahhh! Face my wrath!” With one last but loud yell, Lucifer finally released the impending explosion that threatened to decimate everything around him.
Millions of Angels and Devils alike were in the vicinity and no doubt if Lucifer succeeded, it might end the war with both sides losing and no winners.
Even Michael has felt the danger that Lucifer threatens to release but unfortunately, he’s not fast enough to save his kin.
BOOOOOOO-oooo~!
However, before the explosion could take everyone to death, ti seed to have slowed, the supposed explosion suddenly turned into a snail's pace, and the panic faces of everything stood still.
Even Michael himself was frozen.
‘I can’t believe I’m using this again.’ Chamber’s face turned slightly grim.
Currently, he activated his Chrono Shift to its maximum input once again, placing his speed to near beyond light speed.
Now, everything around him slowed down, almost to a halt, all except for him.
Instead of walking, Chamber decided to run lest he run out of energy instead.
He first started with those who were close to the explosion, before taking the Great Seraphs including Michael.
As for the Devils? He only saved a few. And by the few he ant those who bear the mark of Sitri and Astaroth.
Of course, he would save those. He’s not soone who judged an entire race based on the sins of a few.
Though that’s just the secondary reason, the main being is because his fiancee and friend belongs to those said clans.
‘I’m running out.’ Chamber breathed heavily, a grim expression adorned on his face.
He hasn’t even evacuated 50% of those who are near the explosion’s radius.
‘This is bad.’ He clicked his tongue, pushing himself further and further, burning both his Holy Energy and Demonic Energy to the limit.
Chamber kept running and running around the battlefield, saving as many angels as he could, pushing himself to the limits.
Thanks to surpassing the limits of what his body can handle, he has successfully placed all the Angels away from the explosion radius, leaving only the devils aside from the Sitri and Astaroth clans.
Resting beside the frozen Michael, who now has his hand raised forward, he deactivated the Chrono Shift ability.
~oooo-OOOOMMM!
The deafening explosion instantly spread around the radius, covering the blood-curdling screams and sounds of the devils who were caught in the blast.
At the sa ti, Michael finally reacted and he panicked after seeing the explosion engulf everything in front of him.
“NOOOO!” Michael cried out, preparing himself to feel the deaths of his fellow angels, a trait or more like a curse that he had when he was born.
However, a few seconds passed and he didn’t feel anything, not even a single angel’s death was felt.
Only then did he realize that he was in a different location, far from his previous one, which was already included inside the explosion’s radius.
Looking around, he suddenly saw Chamber lying on the ground, sweating and breathing heavily as if he just circled the entire earth using a handstand.
Not only Chamber, but he also saw everyone, including the Great Seraphs, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael.
Not only that, in a certain distance, he also saw a few thousand devils, bearing a confused expression like him.
“You…” He slowly shifted his head towards Chamber, which also gathered everyone’s attention.
“You saved us. You’re a hero, Chamber.” Michael revealed, drawing gasps and various reactions from everyone.
The angels slowly walked towards the laid-out figure of Chamber, who was now as confused as Michael earlier.
“Saved you? I just did what needed to be done and besides. I’m no hero. If I was, I would’ve saved everyone regardless of their nature.” Chamber shook his head and refuted. Knowing full well what a hero ans.
A hero is soone who ignores soone’s history and past just to save them from danger. It doesn't matter what you did.
“No. You’re a hero, Chamber, or should I say Sorcerer Supre.” Suddenly, an elderly voice shattered everyone’s attention from Chamber.
“Father!” Instantly, every single Angel around, kneeled on the ground in respect for their creator, God, who had just arrived.
Even the Four Great Seraphs, Michael included, weren't exempted and he also kneeled on the ground.
“Everyone is a hero. All of you.” God flashed the kindest smile in the world, acknowledging everyone.
“You saved mankind. You saved your kind and last but not the least. You all saved the future.” Tears and snot can be seen on everybody’s faces, clearly having God’s words resonate within them.
anwhile, Chamber was left on the side, listening to God with a neutral expression.
‘There he goes again, using his sweet words to make everyone forget that God didn't actually participate in the war.’ Chamber ntally chuckled to himself. However, that doesn't an God is bad or anything.
Knowing him, no doubt God would be the first one to bear the explosion and try his best to soften the explosion so it wouldn’t reach the others.
In other words, God would sacrifice himself if necessary.
However, at this point, he must’ve noticed that Chamber and Michael already have everything under their control, or more specifically, Chamber has everything under his control.
Just as everyone thought they had won the battle, another explosion took place where the last explosion happened.
“Finally! Look who showed up! The cowardly god!” It was Lucifer, still maintaining his regal attire from earlier except that he was covered in dirt and dust and his face looked extrely exhausted.
‘He’s almost out of Demonic Energy.’ A simple glance is enough for Chamber to tell that Lucifer can no longer fight back.
At this point, don’t even ntion him or Michael or God, even a single experienced Archangel can take down Lucifer in his current state.
“Lucifer.” Unlike Michael who was sad when he first encountered Lucifer, God was different, he was smiling, as if having a reunion with a long-distance relative.
“You pathetic god!” Lucifer hurled another slur, ignoring the vicious looks that the Angels were giving him. He kept marching on, like a fearless man in a den of wolves.
God walked forward, surprising everyone.
“Father! Please don’t mind him! I’ll take care of h-.” Before Michael could persuade the old man to take a step back, the latter raised his hand to stop him.
“Don’t bother, Michael. Consider this a private mont for a father and his child.” God gave him an apologetic smile before continuing his saunter.
Michael, helpless, could only clench his fists and swear that once Lucifer tried anything against God, he would do anything, even if it ant sacrificing himself.
‘Lucifer is hiding his killing intent. No doubt once God reaches him, he will attack imdiately. I wonder what would you do, old man?’ Chamber muttered to himself, also preparing himself to intercept just in case.
True to Chamber’s words, the mont God was a few inches away from Lucifer, the latter then made his move.
