“Gagh!” Michael’s scream of pain resonated around the battlefield as Lucifer successfully hit him with the Evil Light.
“Michael!” The Seraphs were the first to react and tried to abandon their opponents just to help him.
However, their help is without a challenge as their current enemies won’t easily let them intervene in Michael’s fight.

“And where do you think you’re going?” Slashing the place where Gabriel attempted to escape, Leviathan licked the tip of her sharp nails while giving a wink to Heaven’s most beautiful Angel.
“Get out of the way!” Gabriel clenched her fists and tried to shake her off, only for Leviathan to keep disrupting her attempts.
In fact, she wasn’t the only one as Uriel and Raphael also tried to help their eldest brother only to be intercepted by their current enemies.
“How cute.” Lucifer looked at their efforts with a sneer on his face before facing Michael who was clutching his open wounded shoulder.
“From what I rember, I never received such reactions from anyone when you did the sa thing to , thousands of years ago.” Although Lucifer was trying to sound like he was mocking, Michael could feel a hidden sad tone beneath the surface
“Because you were in the wrong, Samael.” Before Michael could react, Lucifer suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of him with a sharp blade brandished from his Evil Light stabbing Michael in his other shoulders.
“Don’t call that!” Lucifer growled as he pushed the blade deeper into Michael.
“Kahk!” Michael gritted his teeth in pain, trying not to shout as that would just worry his brothers and sisters.
He had to be brave and endure it, for them. For everyone.
“I think it’s ti to end this here now, brother. Thank you for nothing.” Lucifer whispered to Michael’s right ear before pulling the blade out and then bringing it down towards Michael’s neck.
“MICHAEL!” Gabriel’s eyes widened in fear and shock as she released an entire explosive wave of her remaining Holy Energy, burning everything around her in a radius to ashes.
“Wha-!” Leviathan’s eyes widened in surprise as she tried to defend herself from such an attack, only to fail.
Fwoosh!
The radial wave of Holy Energy flare passed by her like she was nothing, reducing every fabric of her existence to re ashes.
The nearby devils, even those that weren’t in the radius, felt the power of the event and hissed in pain.
Unfortunately for her, despite an all-out attack that decimated the battlefield against the devils, it wasn’t enough to stop Lucifer from what he was about to do.
Just as Lucifer’s blade was a few inches away from Michael’s smooth like a woman’s neck, he stopped.
No, not just him, but everyone on the battlefield has stopped in their tracks.

Walking inside the battlefield with his hands inside his pockets, Chamber glanced around the battlefield, as if searching for sothing before finally finding it.
One might think he used his Longinus to stop the ti.
Wrong. Although he can indeed stop the ti it can’t affect those who are either stronger than him or simply match him in strength.
As for how he managed to pull this off.
After dropping Serafall toward one of the troubleso devils on the battlefield to fight against, he utilized the power of one of his Longinus’s unique abilities.
Chrono Shift
The ability that allows him to accelerate his own or soone’s speed to a high number of multipliers.
What he just did was simply accelerate his entire body to the maximum, letting him reach the speed of light itself, enough to make the entire battlefield look like it was halted in ti.
“Sweet dreams are made of this~” Chamber humd to himself while flying in the direction of Lucifer and Michael.
From the looks of it, despite their strength, they’re not strong enough to react to the speed of light.
‘Although it is burning my reserves like an ice being lted by the sun, at least the ice is larger than the sun itself.’ Chamber muttered to himself after analyzing his current situation.
What does it an? It ans he has to hurry up and finish what he ca here to do.
Holding the hand that holds the blade of Evil Light, Chamber pulled it away from Michael and pushed it towards Lucifer’s chest, exactly where his heart resides, or at least what he assud to be at.
Too bad he doesn’t have much ti left so he can’t check it properly.
Once the job was done, Chamber ca over to Michael’s stilled body, grabbed him by the hem of his armor, and sped away from the place.
At the sa ti, he imdiately dispelled the Chrono Shift saving himself a few gallons of Energy Reserves.
“What?” Michael’s eyes widened in surprise, not expecting to see himself being brought back to the ground in the blink of an eye.
“Hey, Michael. You look like hamred shit.” Suddenly, a voice from behind him made him rotate his neck and see Chamber standing over him with his arms crossed over.
“Hamred what?” Michael was confused by the tone.
“Smashed excrent.” Chamber clarified using dieval words this ti.
“….That’s…oddly specific.” Michael frowned and took a good look over himself before continuing in agreent.
“Let patch you up real quick.” As Chamber placed his hands on Michael’s shoulders, a scream of pain from the sky disrupted them.
“GAH!” Up in the sky, Lucifer’s blade which was supposed to be directed towards Michael’s neck earlier, has found itself embedded in his chest, piercing through his entire body.
“Lucifer.” Michael frowned. Although Lucifer is no longer the brother he once knew and is now his enemy, Michael’s kind heart couldn’t help but ache in pain upon seeing this.
“I just let him have a taste of his own dicine,” Chamber said, enough to explain that he was the one who did it.
“Anyways. Just relax.” Before Michael could react, Chamber pulled from the power of the Chronos Requiem and restarted Michael’s body, a few hours from before the fight, bringing him back to his pri.
“This is?” Michael felt the familiar power coursing through his veins. At the sa ti, he doesn’t feel that weak anymore like before.
Due to the Evil Light being a surprising weakness of him, he was weakened greatly during his fight with Lucifer.
“Better?” Chamber smirked while patting his shoulders.
“Yeah. Was that…” Michael was about to ask what he used to bring him back up when Chamber interrupted him.
“Yes. It’s a Longinus. A gift from God himself, to be exact.”
“Anyways. We shouldn’t be having a chat like this, so let’s resu it at so other ti, okay?” Noticing the sudden surge of power in the air, both Chamber and Michael looked into the sky and saw Lucifer with an angered expression.
The hole wound on his chest slowly regenerating in no ti.
“We need to take him down first,” Chamber said while pointing his finger at Lucifer, whose eyes squinted while looking at him.
“You. I know you. I’ve seen you before.”
‘He must be talking about the eting that day when I was with Zekram.’ Chamber mused to himself.
“You’re supposed to be with us. The devils. You’re a traitor!” Lucifer growled as he conjured several spears of Evil Light from his behind before throwing them towards us.
“Be ready,” Michael warned Chamber as he stood up from the ground.
“I know,” Chamber answered in the sa manner.
Both of them jumped and dodged the spears with ease. Both Michael and Chamber unfurled their wings and took off the ground.
“That…” In the sky, although he was clouded by his anger, Lucifer still retained his sanity, so when he saw the similar wings that Chamber bore, he couldn’t help but grow suspicious of the man’s identity.
No devil in the Underworld other than him has feathered wings like him, not to ntion, purple in color too.
The only difference perhaps was that Lucifer’s wings were two pairs while Chamber’s were six pairs.
From the other’s perspective, Michael and Chamber looked like the opposites of each other. While Michael’s wings were gold in color, Chamber’s were dark purple like Lucifer's.
“His ability is a counter to my Holy Energy. So be cautious when engaging with him.” Knowing that Chamber also has access to the Holy Energy as per God’s reminder to him, Michael wanted to let him know just in case.
“Is he also vulnerable to Holy Energy too?” Chamber asked for confirmation.
“I’m not sure. During our fight, I was caught off guard by his strength so I didn’t manage to land a single hit.” Michael shook his head with an exasperated sigh.
Back then, he was the one kicking Lucifer’s ass but now, that’s no longer the case.
Lucifer has grown strong. Very strong. And he has his suspicions on where he got it from.
“Do you know? When I died, I t Raviel.” Suddenly, Chamber’s random words rang out.
“?” Michael raised an eyebrow but didn’t stop Chamber, letting him continue.
“There. I discovered that Raviel no longer has his Evil Light trait. God told us that he was born with it, right? You know where I’m going with this, right?” Hearing Chamber’s question, Michael nodded his head in a grim expression.
“He killed his own son for strength. To strengthen his Evil Light trait. I should’ve known.” Michael clenched his fists.
“Lucifer is no longer soone that can be underestimated. He’s dedicated to killing God and putting the entire Heaven under his feet.” Chamber then continued but this ti, he stared directly at Michael’s face.
“Michael. I’m not telling you to kill your brother with your very own hands. I just want to tell you to not hold yourself back because of your past relationship with him. Let do the dirty job.” Hearing Chamber’s reassurance, Michael’s shoulders dropped low, as if a huge burden had just lifted off from his shoulders.
This is what has been bothering him for a while. During his past few fights with Lucifer years ago, Michael used to hold back his punches, not daring to kill Lucifer despite having the ability to do so.
This is because of their brotherhood. He can’t afford to sniff the life out of soone he technically grew up with.
However, thanks to Chamber’s words. He would no longer bear the burden of being the killer of his brother.
“Thank you, Chamber.”
“Don’t thank yet. Tell that later once I finished the job.” Chamber replied.
