"No joke, it’s true. Second Sister-in-law fainted today. I had soone take her to rest and called a doctor. That’s what the doctor said."
Hearing this, Qi Mother quickly stood up. "Accompany to see her."
"Alright." Ji Yunhuan glanced at Qi Cheng, who was talking to Qi Father. She told Qi Cheng, "Watch the child."
Then she followed Qi Mother out.
Second Sister-in-law was in a room at the hotel. Knowing she wasn’t feeling well, Second Brother went to see her after dinner.
Assistant Gao had been watching over her all this ti. Seeing Second Brother, Assistant Gao said, "Mr. Qi."
"I ca to check on her."
"Second Madam just woke up." Assistant Gao hadn’t had ti to tell Second Sister-in-law about the pregnancy.
Second Brother entered the room and looked at the people inside, saying, "You all can leave first."
The caretakers and doctor called by Assistant Gao were attending to her. Hearing Second Brother’s order, they all left.
Seeing Second Brother, Second Sister-in-law’s attitude was cold. "What are you doing here?"
Although she didn’t want to divorce, thinking of Second Brother’s entanglent with Lin Xiang and his intention to abandon her made her unable to be polite.
She couldn’t possibly beg him for forgiveness, could she?

Second Brother said, "I have prepared the divorce agreent. All my assets will go to you. Even if I’m not by your side in the future, you will be well. I have wronged you. So, I hope you will forget and live well."
Hearing this, Second Sister-in-law looked up, tears in her eyes. "Forget? You want to forget you? How can I? I’ve known you since I was sensible. From that ti on, my life was solely about you. He understood her too well, so he no longer hoped for her forgiveness.
Even if she were willing to forgive, Second Brother still felt guilty towards her.
Tears stread down Second Sister-in-law’s face. Neither of them spoke for a long ti.
Ji Yunhuan and Qi Mother just reached the door, seeing Assistant Gao and others standing outside.

Thinking of this, Qi Mother felt sowhat resentful towards Lin Xiang. "After all these years together, they fell because of Lin Xiang. Your Second Brother wants a divorce not to marry Lin Xiang, but because he feels guilty towards your Second Sister-in-law and can’t face her."
