Qi Mother’s words were filled with disdain and bla.

Ji Yunhuan felt sowhat agitated when Qi Mother ntioned Yangyang. She had no way to deal with Yangyang, but this child...

"This child is mine. I will always keep him by my side," Ji Yunhuan said firmly.

Qi Mother slowly put down the teacup after hearing Ji Yunhuan. She spoke condescendingly, "Do you think you have the right to speak on this matter?"

"..."

"If this child is Qi Cheng’s, there is no way he would stay with a mother like you who is nothing."

"Then what do you want?" Ji Yunhuan felt a bit worried in her heart.

This was what she feared the most. That was why she didn’t want Qi Cheng to know this child belonged to the Qi Family at that ti.

But now Qi Mother knew.

Qi Mother didn’t answer Ji Yunhuan’s question. Instead, she proposed a condition that surprised Ji Yunhuan, "Co back with ."

"..." Ji Yunhuan’s eyes widened. If she didn’t hear it wrong, Qi Mother wanted her to go back... to the Qi Family?

Qi Mother looked at her and continued to entice her, "Don’t you want to go back and see Yangyang? After all, he is your son."

Ji Yunhuan felt incredulous, "You clearly hate . Why..."

She always felt that Qi Mother had ulterior motives.

"I do hate you. But Qi Cheng is my son, and Yangyang is my grandson. As for you... I can’t be bothered to comnt." Qi Mother glanced at Aunt Liu and said, "Go upstairs and pack Ms. Ji’s luggage."

"I’m not going," Ji Yunhuan refused.

Before Qi Cheng ca back, she didn’t want to trust anyone easily.

Even if Qi Mother said sothing that moved her, she still didn’t let down her guard.

"Do you think you have a choice?" Qi Mother’s expression was very serious.

Aunt Liu was forced to go to Ji Yunhuan’s room with the servants brought by Qi Mother to help pack up so daily necessities. When they ca down, they had two large suitcases full.

As a pregnant woman, Ji Yunhuan had a lot of stuff.

Just after Qi Mother took Ji Yunhuan away, Aunt Liu called Qi Cheng, "Sir, Madam has been taken away by Mrs. Qi."

Although Aunt Liu had never t Qi Mother, she could tell from Ji Yunhuan and Qi Mother’s conversation that this was Qi Cheng’s mother.

Qi Cheng’s plane had just landed not long ago. They had just arrived at the hotel when Qi Cheng received the call and quickly left.

Assistant Gao stopped him, "Sir, the eting is about to start."

"Postpone it." Qi Cheng walked out with a stern face.

What eting could matter at this mont?

Before coming here, he had thought that his mother might visit Ji Yunhuan. But always, his mother had respected his thoughts and wouldn’t do anything to make him anxious.

But unexpectedly, his mother took Ji Yunhuan away right after he landed. The speed was incredible!

Assistant Gao followed behind Qi Cheng, looking at his serious deanor, he finally understood a significant issue—if sothing really happened to Ji Yunhuan, it was very possible that the Qi Cheng in front of him would die.

He didn’t know when, but that woman had already beco a presence exceeding his own life.

They took a return flight straight away. By the ti they landed, it was almost dark. Qi Cheng rushed to the Qi Residence right after getting off the plane. Today, Qi Mo was ho. After three years, Qi Mo was even taller than before.

He was sitting by the flower bed, tearing petals one by one, very crazily. Seeing Qi Cheng get out of the car, he said, "Uncle."

Qi Cheng glanced at him, the urgency suppressed in his voice, "Have you seen your aunt?"

"Which aunt?" Qi Mo asked, puzzled.

Qi Cheng didn’t want to waste ti with this mischievous kid, so he went straight into the house.

Qi Mother had just co out of the kitchen. Seeing Qi Cheng enter, she said, "Why are you here? I heard you went on a business trip."

She said this while placing the plate she was holding on the table. Qi Cheng walked to his mother, his eyes full of coldness, "Where’s Yunhuan?"

Qi Mother looked at Qi Cheng’s indifferent appearance and kindly smiled, "You ca back and didn’t even greet . You went straight to ask about her?"

Qi Cheng’s voice was incredibly hoarse. Throughout the whole journey back, he had been tense, "If you do anything to Yunhuan, it’s as good as forcing to die."

Qi Mother looked at Qi Cheng with heartbreak, "I painstakingly raised a son, and in the end, this is what I get? Are there no won left in this world? You would die for her?"

Qi Cheng panted heavily, his eyes tightly fixed on Qi Mother, "Where is Yunhuan?"

"I don’t know," Qi Mother’s temper flared up as well.

Mother and son faced off until Leilei ca down from upstairs. Seeing Qi Cheng, she smiled and said, "Uncle, you’re here!"

Leilei walked to the dining table, looking at Qi Mother and Qi Cheng. Not knowing what they were arguing about, she only said, "Grandma, I’m hungry."

"There’s food in the kitchen." Qi Mother calmly accompanied Leilei into the kitchen. She brought out the snacks Leilei liked and heard Qi Cheng ask, "Where is Yunhuan?"

"Aunt is upstairs," Leilei said.

Qi Cheng looked at Leilei, finding that she didn’t seem to be lying.

Leilei held a small plate of snacks. She led Qi Cheng upstairs, stopping outside the room usually used for children’s play.

He stood at the door and saw Ji Yunhuan playing puzzles with Yangyang. Although Yangyang still didn’t interact much with Ji Yunhuan, the atmosphere had an indescribable harmony.

Leilei walked in with the snacks, "Look what I brought you all!"

Yangyang looked up at Leilei, crawling up with his small arms and legs.

Ji Yunhuan also looked at Leilei. Her gaze fell on Qi Cheng.

The sitting Ji Yunhuan stood up and walked towards Qi Cheng, "You’re back?"

Because he had said he would return tomorrow, his arrival surprised her.

Qi Cheng couldn’t care less and pulled Ji Yunhuan into his arms tightly.

Even holding her in his arms, he could still feel the blood pounding in his ears—he was very afraid that Qi Mother might have done sothing to Ji Yunhuan.

Ji Yunhuan didn’t ask why anymore. Plus, Qi Cheng was holding her so tightly that she sowhat understood—he must have been very worried when he heard Qi Mother had brought her here, so he rushed back.

"Qi Cheng, I’m fine." After a while, Ji Yunhuan felt stiff. She had to comfort him, "I’m okay here."

Although Qi Mother had forcibly brought her, she could see Yangyang here. Moreover, Qi Mother hadn’t hard her.

Qi Cheng released Ji Yunhuan after hearing her words, "I know you’re fine."

He could see that she was okay and getting along well with Yangyang.

In her son’s presence, even if she suffered, she would likely consider it a kind of happiness.
