To make things worse, his earth elent was a terrible match up for him.

Compared to the wind and water elents, the defensive spells of the earth elent were a lot more powerful, and penetrating them would require him to put more power and speed behind his attacks.

The attacks of the earth elent were also very troubleso, as skilled earth Elentalists could easily change their defensive spells to attacks, even after casting the spells.

Such skill had been displayed by the Elentalist when he was able to quickly change that giant earth wall into fists, putting Trent in a rather tight spot.

No matter how he tried to view his situation, he couldn’t find any way he might have an advantage against their team up.

Even if it was just the Earth Elentalist, it would still be a tough match up, talk less of the fire Elentalist added in the mix.

"Wow... a dual Elentalist." The tall boy said, his lips curling into a smirk.

"You look pretty young... talented also and strong." He continued, the smirk on his face slowly widening, turning a bit sinister. "To reach this level at such a young age sure is very impressive."

"This will be an interesting fight." He muttered, chuckling to himself.

"I never asked for your review. Why not fight one on one like real n, Instead of teaming up like a pair of little birches?!" Trent shouted, veins bulging slightly around his forehead.

"Little bitches?" The short, fire Elentalist butted in, his brows furrowing in annoyance. "You sure got a foul mouth."

Trent simply scoffed, his eyes narrowing in frustration.

He was rely trying to see if there was a way if he could provoke them to split up, so his attention would be focused on only one of them during the fight.

But it didn’t seem likely, especially with his reaction.

"No need to get angry bro." The taller one said, patting his shoulder with a gentle smile on his face.

"Hey dude from Vane academy!" He shouted, waving his hands nonchalantly at Trent.

Trent’s eyes narrowed, feeling that his actions were a bit weird and suspicious.

"Why don’t we introduce ourselves first?" The Elentalist continued, slowly stepping closer.

"I’m Bonny jay, and beside is my brother, Sonny jay. We’re both from the Dale Academy, in the western continent." He said, briefly introducing themselves.

"What about you? What’s your na... talented young one?" Bonny said, tucking his hands into his pocket.

’He’s... weird.’ Trent mumbled inwardly, his brows furrowing slightly.

He didn’t get why the Elentalist kept placing emphasis on his young age and talent, but he didn’t really care.

"I don’t want to introduce myself to a pair of bitches like you two... let’s just get on to fighting." He said, still trying to provoke them into splitting.

"For soone who wants to fight so bad, you keep standing in one place like a little... bitch." Sonny, the Fire Elentalist said, placing so emphasis on the word ’bitch.’

"If you want a fight so bad, then I’ll give you one!" He shouted, flas rapidly gathering around his feet.

Fwoosh!

"Fla dash!" He suddenly dashed towards Trent, boosting his speed with a compact burst of fla.

Trent’s eyes widened slightly, a bit taken aback by his sudden outburst.

It seed like his goal to provoke him had worked, and a slight smirk tugged at the edges of his lips.

’Nice, co at ... so I can finish you off nicely!’ He thought, holding back the urge to burst out in laughter.

"Fiery Fist!" Sonny shouted, a thick glove of flas rapidly wrapping around his fist.

’Got ya!’ Trent thought, hurriedly channeling his mana before casting a spell of his own.

"Water—"

"Earth Pillar." Bonny interjected from the other end, raising up two of his fingers.

Twooom!

A large rock pillar imdiately rose up beneath Trent’s feet, launching him up in the air.

’W-what?!’ Trent thought, his eyes widening in shock as his body was flung up by the earth pillar.

The mana flowing through his hand was abruptly cut off due to the interjection, and it imdiately flowed backwards, rushing back into his elental orb like a wave.

"Arghh!!" Trent grunted, feeling a sharp pain radiating from his chest throughout his torso.

The pain wasn’t just from the force of the pillar slamming into his legs, most of it was from the shock of the backward flow of his mana.

Fortunately from him, he had channeled the mana from his elental orbs and not his mana core, if not, the backlash would have been worse.

’W-when was the last ti... my spell was cut short like this...?’ He mumbled inwardly, his gaze briefly locking with that of the earth Elentalist on the ground.

Nonetheless, he couldn’t relent, as he could see Bonny already preparing his next attack, along with Sonny.

"Earth Hand!" The Elentalist shouted, raising his arm up, before swinging it to the side.

The rock pillar imdiately shot out of the ground, changing shape to a large, crude palm which swiftly flew towards Trent.

Trent, who was still dealing with the backlash of his spell being cancelled mid-way could barely react, even as the rock hand rapidly closed in on his side.

He quickly tried casting another spell, but getting his mana to flow normally beca an Herculean task, causing the spell to fail.

Thwam!

The rock palm suddenly slamd into his side, the large size almost covering his whole body.

"Arhhh!!" Trent grunted, feeling the crude surface of the hand dig into his skin.

The bones in his arm, a few of his ribs, and even the ones in his lower limb were imdiately broken, before his body was hurtled the air.

He flew into the bush at his side, crashing into a few leaves and branches, before falling to the hard ground.

"Argh!" He groaned as he fell face flat to the ground, his face and the rest of his body hurting badly from the impact.

’D-damn it...’ He seethed, placing a hand on his chest as he slowly rose on his feet.

"Healing cocoon..." He muttered, his hand shining with an ethereal blue glow.

A thin shroud of water rapidly ford around his body, its surface glowing with bright blue particles.

The particles swirled around his body, seeping into his skin, rapidly healing all his wounds.

His broken bones gradually nded themselves, with the bruises on his face closing, until barely any trace of them were left.

Fortunately, the flow of his mana had already sowhat stabilised, so he could now properly cast a spell.

However, as simple as the spell seed, it actually consud a lot of mana.

Given his dire predicant, he was supposed to be conserving mana, but unfortunately, he didn’t have much of a choice in this matter.

A couple of steps suddenly drifted into his ears, and Sonny then Bonny appeared before him, looking at him with disdain.

"You should have been more polite. You might have earned my rcy." Bonny said, scoffing under his breath.

"Just hand over your token, you already lost." Sonny said, a smug smirk plastered on his lips.

Trent gnashed his teeth, channeling even more mana into the healing spell.

"Already lost huh? It’s not up to you... to decide that." He said, his face squeezing into a frown.

"I won’t lose... I’ll never lose..." He mumbled, his body trembling uncontrollably. "If I lose to weaklings like you, then how will I defeat him?"

"Weaklings? You dare call a weakling?" Bonny said, clenching his hands into a fist.

"Fine then. I’ll just take the token from you... painfully." He continued, stretching out his hands.

The ground beneath Trent suddenly started quaking, and a large hand suddenly bursted out of it, towering above Trent.

Its crude body was covered with grasses and leaves, and its massive size casted a huge shadow on the Elentalist.

Trent’s gaze trembled, but he didn’t move away, only staring at the giant rock hand in front of him.

"You said you never lose... don’t be stupid." Bonny said, letting out a low chuckle. "You already lost!"

"Earth’s wrath!" Bonny shouted, bringing his hand down on Trent.

The giant hand imdiately followed his action, crashing down on Trent with trendous speed.

However, just as the hand was about to fall on him, a powerful surge of mana suddenly bursted out of Trent, violently sweeping across the area.

"Ugh..." Bonny grunted, subconsciously shielding his face as the mana wave brushed past his face.

The power behind the wave sent a chill down his spine, but then, he could also sense another thing within the mana, which terrified him to his core.

’W-what is this?’ He thought, cold sweat dripping down his forehead.

He subconsciously halted his attack, causing the massive rock hand to pause just above Trent.

However, that split second of delay was more than enough for Trent.

Swoosh!

A powerful stream of water imdiately appeared around his body, shooting up into the air.

The stream easily tore through the rock hand above him, ripping everything down to its wrist into shreds.

"I... won’t lose..." Trent mumbled, however, his echo of his voice lingered even after he had spoken, sounding like ocean waves crashing against one another.
