He looked back at the sight a second ti, sucking in a breath of cold air as he stared at the endless number of clocks floating beneath the one he was standing on.

He couldn’t help but think about what would happen if he fell down from this height...

He could already see himself getting smacked around rcilessly by the clocks, before falling down to God knows where.

Clap!

Clap!

Clap!

Three loud claps suddenly echoed all through the air, causing his eyes to widen in shock.

His eyes subconsciously road around his surroundings, eager to see who it was that clapped.

However, all he could hear was the dull sound of so clocks slamming into each other.

"Show yourself." Leon muttered, hurriedly channeling his energy in preparation for any attack that might co his way.

"I’m not hiding though." A loud voice reverberated across the ear, and this ti, he was able to easily locate where it ca from.

He quickly turned his head to the side, his eyes eting with that of strange man with long grey hair and bright green eyes.

His face looked quite old, and his hair was filled with short green streaks, giving him a wild appearance.

He was standing on a large blue clock, which slowly spun around the air.

The clock was one of the strangest Leon had ever seen, with two surprisingly live snakes coiling around the clock.

The snakes both had one small, green eyes atop their heads, and they angrily chased after each other in a continuous cycle.

It was a very weird sight... watching two snakes chase each other around a clock while still maintaining rhythm.

"Who are you? I take it you’re the one who brought here?" Leon asked, narrowing his eyes at the grey-haired man.

Although he wasn’t feeling any danger from the man currently, it didn’t an he would let down his guard.

Apart from that, he could tell whoever this person was... they were extrely dangerous.

There was also the issue with the countless clocks spinning around the place.

Since he didn’t know what those clocks were supposed to an, he couldn’t act rashly, or else he might regret it.

"I saw your fight with that fish-man, how you took him down was very impressive." The man replied, his lips curling into slight smirk.

He conveniently ignored the questions he asked, going straight to the fight Leon had with that scaly-man.

’Fish-man...?’ Leon thought, his brows furrowing slightly. However, he soon understood what the man was talking about.

Although the man didn’t bother touching on the questions he asked, that wasn’t what was going through his mind currently.

’He was there?’ He thought, his expression twisting into a slight frown.

Back when he took down that guy, he didn’t notice anybody being close to him except from Harry and the people watching from below.

And from how this person spoke, he seed to imply that he knew exactly ’how’ Leon was able to win that fight, which made him even more wary against him.

The frown on his face suddenly deepened, and he slowly clenched his fist by his side.

"I asked you a question, who are you?" Leon asked, narrowing his eyes at the man.

"You don’t have to be so wary against , I’m not trying to fight you or anything." He said.

"However, if you insist on it. I’m Kronos, the god of ti and it sure is nice to finally et you... manaless mage." He continued, a strange glint flashing through his eyes.

Upon hearing his last words, Leon’s eyes widened in shock, and the expression on his face froze in disbelief.

’He knows... that I’m a manaless mage?!’ He thought, instantly reevaluating the man in his heart.

Although he had gone on many adventures, venturing into dangerous rifts, not once had he t soone who knew the truth behind his power!

If before he felt he was dangerous, then now he considered him as even more dangerous, and possibly a huge threat to his existence!

Seeing the expression on Leon’s face, the man’s sighed, and proceeded to sit down on the surface of the clock. "Don’t look at like that, it’s just like I said before, I’m only here to talk to you."

"Only here to talk." Leon muttered, repeating the last part of the man’s words.

Although that was what he said, he still didn’t feel at ease.

There was sothing seriously fishy about everything, and he could tell this person’s words were anything but true.

Just then, he rembered sothing he said earlier, which he had previously overlooked due to his mind being too occupied with words "manaless mage".

"So you claim to be the "god of ti." Leon said, taking a second look at his weird surroundings.

He had never believed in the concept of "gods", so he felt like that was just a title the man chose to give himself.

’Clocks... ti... how didn’t I piece this together before?’ He thought, feeling the urge to smack him forehead.

"So that’s why you have all this weird clocks flying around." He said, turning his gaze back to Kronos.

"First, I don’t ’claim to be’, I am the god of ti." He said, placing emphasis on the last part of his sentence.

"And second, they aren’t just weird clocks. They’re tilines... seems i overestimated you." He said, sighing under his breath.

Leon’s eyes narrowed at his words, however, he didn’t give any response.

"This is my ’space’, I invited you here, mainly because there’s sothing I need to discuss with you... sothing very important."

"What’s that?"

"Have you ever heard of the term "celestials?" Kronos suddenly asked, causing Leon’s brows to furrow in confusion.

’Celestials...?’ He thought, with a weird expression on his face. ’That sounds very familiar.’

After racking his brain for a few seconds, he finally recalled where he heard the word "Celestial".

It was about seven years ago, when he was fighting against a rank eight mana beast.

The fight was quite tough for him back then, as the beast had been able to resist so of his ti abilities, and also possessed high intelligence.

Nonetheless, he eventually defeated the beast, ending its life while also growing leaps and bounds in his ti elent.

However, monts the mana beast died, it said sothing about being blessed by a ’celestial’, before going berserk, all to bring him down along with it.

Back then, he was seriously confused about what the beast ant, and he tried finding more about what really happened with the mana beast.

But unfortunately, the mana beast was already dead, so asking it about what it ant was out of his options.

Nonetheless, all he reached were dead ends, and he eventually gave up on it, since the earth was still engaged in a brutal war against the demons.

"It seems like the word is familiar to you." Kronos said, slightly nodding his head.

"That fish creature was a rogue celestial, one that managed to sneak into this planet."

"It probably ca here to escape, but it’s good you killed it. I’m quite grateful for that."

Leon went silent for a few seconds, simply staring at Kronos a slight frown on his face.

"You... you’re a celestial also, aren’t you?" He suddenly asked, narrowing his eyes at the grey-haired man.

There was sothing that had been bugging him ever since he t this strange person.

Though he was concealing it, his presence felt very similar to that of the ’fish-man’ he t earlier.

"Yes, that’s correct." Despite the sudden question, the expression on Kronos’ dave remained unshaken.

"I’m a true celestial, and it’s ti i say the main reason I’m here." He said, standing back up on his feet.

’I’ve done my estimations, he’s not as powerful as I expected. There’s no need to drag this out any longer.’ He thought, his eyes flashing with a cold glint.

"Rogue celestials like that creature are a danger to the world, they are ant to be eliminated." He said, his tone a lot firr.

’Sothing’s changed!’ Leon took note of this, the foreboding feeling in his mind rising once again.

"And another thing that is a danger to the balance of the universe, is soone like you... a manaless mage." Kronos coldly said, pointing his finger at Leon.

"But I’ve to help you, co with without a fight, and the problem is already solved."

"That’s a lie." Leon said, gnashing his teeth in annoyance. "If I co with you, you’ll definitely kill ."

Kronos’ brows furrowed into a slight frown, however, it quickly vanished without a trace.

’He can tell when I’m lying, how annoying.’ He thought.

"There’s one thing you’re getting wrong about all this manaless mage... you don’t have a choice in this matter."

As he said this, the clock he was standing on slowly flew to the side, and another one ca in its place, facing Leon.

This particular one looked a lot similar to the ones on earth, and was practically the most ’normal-looking’ one he had seen in this place.

Leon was about to attack Kronos, however, the hands of the clock suddenly moved forward, and the surface changed, revealing a couple of clips to him.

"W-what...? N-no..." Leon muttered, his eyes widening in horror at the sight before him.
