Hearing Lu Jueyu's voice, Li Chenmo opened his eyes and noticed his wife's tense expression. The mont he saw this, his drowsiness disappeared instantly. He sat up and asked in a hoarse voice with a hint of worry, "Wife, what's wrong?"
"Husband, I heard a sound coming from the backyard." Lu Jueyu whispered.
When Li Chenmo heard her words, he frowned and said, "I'm going to check the situation. Wife, wait for here."

After putting on his shoes, Li Chenmo went to the backyard and heard soft groans coming from outside. He picked up a piece of firewood and walked to the backyard gate. He stood near the door, listening to the voice, and realized that it belonged to a girl.
He opened the door with a frown and saw Han Liling lying on the ground with her left leg covered in blood. Judging from her unconscious state and the blood on the ground, it seed that several hours had passed since she was injured.
Although he didn't want to interfere with Han Yuheng's family matters, Li Chenmo couldn't ignore the little girl. After pondering for a while, he put down the firewood and carried Han Liling into the house.

Standing at the door and looking at their backs, Lu Jueyu said, "I wonder if his concern for his daughter is genuine or just an act."
