Before Bai Xue'er ca here, one of his n had already found out about the situation in the other city and what happened in the Mayor's family.

From the information they received, even if the mayor's relatives reported them, this matter had nothing to do with him.

But now that Bai Xue'er told him the truth, it proved that she was trustworthy. Doing business with her would bring more advantages than disadvantages.

With this thought in mind, he smiled and said, "Comrade Bai, since that is the case, I will provide you with 6,000 kilograms of grains."

"Comrade Luo, I didn't bring that much money and only have 10,000 yuan with right now. Can I pay the rest after the delivery?" Bai Xue'er asked.

Luo Zhenhe nodded and said, "No problem. Comrade Bai, I will give you the sa price as before, so the total is 19,200 yuan. I will give you a discount and free delivery, so you only need to pay 19,000 yuan."

After he said this, he wrote a receipt and said, "Here is the receipt. After delivery, you can pay the rest."

Bai Xue'er took out her pouch and paid in cash. After she was done, she took out a piece of paper and said, "Comrade Luo, please send 3,000 kilograms of grains to this address."

"What about the rest?" Luo Zhenhe asked.

After thinking for a mont, she wrote down another address and said, "The rest of the grains can be sent to this address."

When Luo Zhenhe saw the address, he raised his eyebrows and said, "Comrade Bai, I will prepare the grains and send them as soon as possible."

"Comrade Luo, please send the grains in two days."

"Okay."

When they were done discussing the deal, Bai Xue'er put on her scarf and left in hurried steps. As soon as she returned to her house, she made a phone call.

The call rang for a mont before it was picked up, and the second aunt's voice was heard from the receiver, "Hello."

"Second aunt, I have contacted my friends, and they can help you find more grains. But the price is 6 yuan 15 cents per kilogram, and the most they can find is 3,000 kilograms," Bai Xue'er said calmly.

The mont the second aunt heard this, she exclaid, "Xue'er, how can the price be so high?"

"Second aunt, this price is the result of negotiating with them. The current market price for rice is 6 yuan 30 cents per kilogram now. This is already below the market price. If you feel it's too expensive, you can find another way by yourself," Bai Xue'er said with displeasure.

When the second aunt heard this, she quickly said, "Xue'er, don't be angry. I was only surprised by the price, but I never said that I didn't want them."

After a mont of pause, she asked, "Xue'er, when will your friends be able to send the grains?"

"They need ti to prepare the grains first and will deliver the grains in two days at the fastest, and five days at the latest," Bai Xue'er replied.

Hearing this, the second aunt heaved a sigh of relief and said, "How about the paynt?"

"Second aunt, you can send the money to tomorrow in cash."

"Okay, I will co visit you tomorrow."

After the brief conversation, Bai Xue'er hung up the call and smiled.

With the second aunt paying for 3,000 kilograms of rice, she only needed to add 550 yuan and get 3,000 kilograms of rice. This was such a good deal!

At the sa ti, in Xie Village, Li Chenze was loading so grains, vegetables, at, and eggs into the bicycle carts. After he was done, he walked toward his wife, who was sitting on the balcony.

Due to her big belly, Zhang Dongi had trouble standing up after sitting. So, Li Chenze supported her and said, "Wife, how about I call your aunt over to accompany you? Leaving you alone at ho makes uneasy."

Hearing the worry in her husband's voice, Zhang Dongi smiled and said, "Husband, my second sister-in-law will be here in a mont. If you are worried, how about you wait until she arrives before you leave?"

"Okay. Let's go inside first," Li Chenze agreed without hesitation.

With her husband's support, the two of them went to their bedroom. While autumn was not as cold as winter, it was easy for Zhang Dongi to catch a cold due to her weakened health. So, the Kang bed had been ward up.

After his wife sat on the bed, Li Chenze took off her shoes and placed several pillows behind her back and waist so she could lean in more comfortably.

Then, he covered her with a thin blanket and said, "Wife, if you feel uncomfortable, don't keep it to yourself. Just tell the Second Sister-in-law. I will return as soon as possible."

Zhang Dongi smiled and replied, "I know, don't worry too much. It's not my first pregnancy, and it's not twins. I'm not that fragile."

Even though his wife said so, Li Chenze still couldn't feel at ease. During the birth of their sons, she had nearly lost her life. Her health had deteriorated ever since, and she was no longer as strong as she used to be.

Though she was gradually recovering thanks to proper nourishnt, she was pregnant again after so many years. He couldn't afford to take risks with her health.

Noticing her husband's silence, Zhang Dongi knew he didn't agree with her words. Reaching out, she held his hand and said helplessly, "Husband, I'm almost 36 weeks along. I need to walk around so I can have a smoother delivery next month."

"Mhmm," Li Chenze replied. After a mont of silence, he finally said, "I will accompany you on walks every day."

"Okay," Zhang Dongi smiled.

Not long after, they heard the gate being opened, followed by Pan ijia's voice, "Eldest Sister-in-law, are you at ho?"
