anwhile, after leaving Father Li's house, Lu Jueyu and Li Chenmo returned ho. Since it was still early, they decided to go to the mountain. Knowing that his eldest brother had also gone there, Li Chenmo chose a different route.

As they ventured into the mountain, Lu Jueyu noticed mushrooms, wild vegetables, and wild fruits growing densely. This path was hard to traverse and quite distant from the village, so no one else used it besides them.

Looking at the free resources around her, she suggested, "Husband, let's forage for mushrooms and pick so wild fruits first before we go to the mountain."

Seeing his wife's bright eyes, Li Chenmo nodded with a smile and readily agreed, "Okay."

Lu Jueyu retrieved tools and two bamboo baskets from her space. Thanks to their tacit understanding on dividing their works, the two of them managed to gather all the mushrooms and fruits in under two hours. They also picked wild vegetables along the way.

Since they drank Lu Jueyu's boiled lake water, they didn't feel tired at all. After storing everything in her space, Lu Jueyu took out a bag of wheat seeds and a bag of bell bean seeds.

Looking around, she handed the wheat seeds to her husband and said, "Husband, help scatter these seeds."

Holding the bag, Li Chenmo looked at his wife and asked, "Wife, are we scattering the seeds directly? Don't they need to germinate first?"

"It's fine. I have tried it before, and it's possible to grow them without germination," Lu Jueyu assured him as she began scattering the bell bean seeds.

Since his wife had said so, Li Chenmo didn't ask further questions and got to work.

Lu Jueyu had chosen bell beans and wheat for intercropping due to their nurous benefits. Together, they improved the availability of nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil, resulting in higher crop yields compared to monoculture or crop rotation. This combination also enhanced the quality of wheat grain, including increased gliadin content and protein yield.

Additionally, intercropping reduced the incidence of bell bean wilt, improved soil microorganism diversity, increased enzy activity in rhizosphere soil, and aided in weed managent. It also attracted more pollinators and stabilized crop performance.

While the results might not rival those of a well-maintained field, it was still better than wild grown wheat and bell beans.

After scattering the seeds, Lu Jueyu walked around, drawing water directly from her space's lake.

This was the first ti Li Chenmo had seen his wife do this. Following her, he watched as water gushed from her palm like a faucet. Although amazed, he didn't think too much about it, considering his wife's magical ability.

Once finished, they ventured further into the mountain forest, heading to another open field. Unbeknownst to them, the seeds they had scattered had already begun sprouting and taking root not long after they left the area.

Thanks to her daily training under her husband's strict supervision, Lu Jueyu's physical condition had improved significantly. Even after climbing the mountain and working for over three hours, her breathing remained steady. The boiled lake water also kept her energized.

When they arrived at the first open field, they were greeted by a vast expanse of mature corn plants. Wiping her sweat, Lu Jueyu looked at her husband and said, "Husband, I don't think we can harvest everything manually. How about I store it all in my space so we can process it later?"

Li Chenmo glanced at the sky and nodded, "Alright."

It was almost noon, and they still needed to replant the area. Storing everything in her space seed the most efficient option.

Since this was Lu Jueyu's first attempt at storing entire plants, she was unsure if it would work. Reaching out her hand, she thought, 'Collect!'

To her delight, a large area of corn plants disappeared instantly, leaving the field clean with turned soil. Thrilled by the discovery, she quickly collected the rest of the plants while watering the field with her other hand.

When she was working, a thought suddenly appeared in her mind. Turning around, she handed two bags of seeds to her husband and instructed, "Husband, help scatter these seeds."

Li Chenmo looked at the corn and soybean seeds in his hands and nodded, "Okay."

With this new thod, they managed to harvest, replant, and water the field in less than an hour. Their efficiency allowed them to replant and harvest three fields before sunset.

Before descending the mountain, they entered the space to rest and have a al. Upon erging, Lu Jueyu released twenty queen bees into the mountain to encourage wild honey production. Since these queen bees were bought from the space's store, their quality was much higher than normal honey bees.

After releasing the queen bee, Lu Jueyu also planted so flowers around the area and irrigated them with lake water. This way, the bees can produce honey faster.

On their way back, she scattered dicinal herb seeds and water the small area around the dicinal herbs to prevent excessive growth of bushes or trees.

She also planted wild ginseng in several hidden areas. To avoid suspicions, she included several 300-year-old ginseng and three 500-year-old ones among the 100-year-old ginseng seeds.

Before leaving the mountain, Lu Jueyu took out two bamboo baskets and filled them with wild pheasants, rabbits, and fish.

As they reached the mountain foothills, they encountered Li Chenze, Zhang Ermu, and Han Yuheng who were loading sacks filled with grains they had just harvested to the bullock cart.

Surprised to see them, Li Chenze asked with surprise, "Third Brother, didn't you say you had sothing to do today? How co you have ti to co to the mountain?"

Li Chenmo nodded at them as a greeting and replied, "Eldest brother, my in-laws were not at ho. So, we didn't stay long during the visit. Since we had nothing to do, my wife and I decided to check our traps in the mountains. We also caught so fish back."
