Jueyu returned the smile and replied, "Aunt Pan, it was what I should do. I'm just glad everyone enjoyed the banquet."

"Sister-in-law, we certainly did. You should have seen how much people loved your dishes. Not a single leftover was left on the tables, every plate and bowl was cleaned," Bai Xue'er chid in with a bright smile.

Today's banquet had brought imnse pride to the Pan family. Even Bai Xue'er, as a daughter-in-law, basked in its glow.

For once, her husband's cousins and aunts had no grounds to complain about her mother-in-law, which filled her with satisfaction. Let's see if they dare look down on her family again!

Hearing her words, Lu Jueyu smiled delightfully and said, "It's the best complint to a cook when the food is enjoyed by the guests."

Bai Xue'er felt increasingly fond of this sister-in-law. Not only was Lu Jueyu beautiful, skilled, and polite, but she was also humble and generous. Most people, when faced with praise, would show embarrassnt, arrogance, or pride.

However, Lu Jueyu simply expressed joy that her cooking was well received. There was no trace of haughtiness or awkwardness, proving her big heart and open-minded nature.

After their brief conversation, Mother Pan noticed that the guests still showed no intention of leaving. As the host, she could only continue to entertain them when she was tired.

She turned to Father Li and suggested, "In-laws, how about taking a rest here and having so tea before heading back?"

Father Li hesitated when he heard this, glancing at his third son and daughter-in-law, who had been working tirelessly all day.

He wanted to return to the rented house earlier so they could rest. However, it is rude to refuse an invitation. After all, today is also a happy day for his Li family.

Sensing his hesitation, Lu Jueyu smiled and said, "Father, let's have so tea first. My feet are too sore to walk back right now."

The mont she finished her words, Pan Chimu chid in imdiately, "Sister-in-law, I drove the military jeep back yesterday. I can take you all back if your feet are tired."

As soon as he said this, the aunts and cousins glared at him, feeling displeased. They wanted to talk with Lu Jueyu and inquire about the whitening cream. The idea of her leaving now did not sit well with them.

Standing nearby, Li Chenmo noticed the eager gazes of the Pan family's relatives. He suspected they wanted sothing from his wife. Glancing at her, he saw her cheerful, energetic smile. Since they had already rested in the space, staying a bit longer wouldn't be a problem.

He turned to Pan Chimu and said, "Brother Chimu, we will take you up on that offer later."

Hearing this, Pan ijia's eyes lit up. She hadn't had the chance to talk to her friend all day and hoped for an opportunity to chat. Walking over, she linked arms with Lu Jueyu and said, "Jueyu, let's sit at ho for a bit. I have sothing to discuss with you."

"Alright," Lu Jueyu agreed with a smile.

Everyone was pleased that she decided to stay a while longer. As they headed to the Pan family's house, the aunts and cousins eagerly tried to strike up conversations with her. However, the cold expression on Li Chenmo's face discouraged them from getting too close.

Unlike the friendly and smiling Li Lingyun, Li Chenmo's stern deanor was intimidating.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Li Chenmo wasn't angry or treated them coldly. He was preoccupied with thoughts about the possibility of selling his wife's costics through his shop in the capital.

Perhaps he could even open another store or hire the wives and sisters of his subordinates to handle the sales discreetly.

Once they arrived at the Pan family's house, Pan ijia pulled Lu Jueyu into the kitchen and said, "Jueyu, help brew the tea."

Realizing her friend wanted a private conversation, Lu Jueyu followed her.

In the kitchen, as Pan ijia boiled water, she asked hesitantly, "Jueyu, I heard from your second sister-in-law that she entrusted her money to you. Could I do the sa?"

Surprised by her request, Lu Jueyu asked in a hushed voice, "ijia, how did you find out?"

"Your second sister-in-law told not long ago. You know I joined your sisters-in-law in selling snacks at the factories and the governnt staff living quarters, right?"

Lu Jueyu nodded and said, "Yes, my eldest sister-in-law ntioned it."

"Thanks to their help, I earned a lot. When we split the profits, the amount ca to nearly 30,000 yuan. I told your second sister-in-law that I was worried about keeping such a large sum at ho. That's when she suggested entrusting it to you," Pan ijia explained.

"Have you discussed this with the Second Brother?" Lu Jueyu asked after so thought.

Pan ijia nodded and said with a smile, "Yes, I told Brother Yun, and he said it's up to since I earned the money myself."

After a mont's thought, Lu Jueyu replied, "Alright. I will co by tomorrow with my husband to discuss it further."

Realizing it wasn't the right ti with so many guests around, Pan ijia readily agreed, "Thank you, Jueyu!"

With the water boiling, Pan ijia retrieved a jar of tea leaves from the cabinet and prepared the tea in a kettle.

When Lu Jueyu saw the tea leaves, she smiled. These were osmanthus tea leaves she had blended herself and gifted to the Pan family through Li Lingyun.

The tea was a fragrant blend of osmanthus flowers and black tea. Since the Pan family preferred black tea over green tea, she adjusted the blend according to their taste.

Once the tea was ready, they brought it out for the guests. The fragrant aroma filled the room, making everyone feel relaxed and refreshed.

Feeling curious, Mother Pan's sister asked, "Jiajia, what kind of tea is this? It slls wonderful."

"Aunt, this is osmanthus tea," Pan ijia replied with a smile.
